Cool trains and stupid drivers in North Bergen

- We are in North Bergen at 69th Street Grade Crossing, which is in the interlocking limits of CP3 on the former Conrail River Line Subdivision, where we see CSX Train Y120, the local in North bergen Yard, as well as NYSW Train WS-5, the local out of Little Ferry, as they both work a cut of cars on the team track just south of the grade crossing. The two locals were working together to drill the cars. WS-5 is powered by NS GP38-2 5291 and CSX GP38-2 2732, while Y120 is powered by SD40-2 8804. Interestingly enough, 5291 and 2732 are sisters, in the sense that they were both former Penn Central units, with the 2732 being PC 8087 and 5291 being PC 8092; only five frame numbers apart. Both engines were built 2/1973. In between all the switching, we see CSX Train Q271, the unit auto rack freight from Doremus Auto Yard in Newark to Fostoria, Ohio. Today, Q271 has foreign power in the form of NS SD70M 2590 and NS SD60 6661. I am unsure how they got assigned this train or why, but it was a nice surprise. Outside of Q271, the only train we see is just the local drilling the team track. While the gates go down, notice all the stupid New Jersey drivers as they run around the gates, pass on the wrong side of the road, and almost hit me (at the end of the video). Also take note of the Caterpillar 972G Wheel Loader with the tamping attachment used to pile drive rods into the ground as part of the bridge construction project which will eliminate the 69th Street Grade Crossing. Enjoy the sound of the Roots Blown EMD 645 rev of the two GP38-2's, as well as the smoke, the fouled Conrail Leslie S3L, and the NS power leading the Q271. Wow, my favorite train horn, crossing bell, and crossing signal are all featured in this video! LOL Was not expecting to hear that WCH e-bell when the crossing activated, that really surprised me!

Interesting how much North Bergen has changed since about 3 months ago. Q271 had that power because it came in on the Circus train via CSX. I guess they had it lying around so they assigned it to 271.
