Hi Roger, yes I am interested to know what laser settings you use in terms of speed in/min or mm/min, and power setting but also are those PNG or JPG images or vectors (SVGs). I have been trying images (both PNG and JPG) and can't seem to get the engraves to come out looking like yours, they are dark and even mine are coming out light or hardly show when I clean off the paint. I use 50 in/min speed and 30% power as I have a 20-watt laser but been considering using the 10 watt laser as that lower wattage might be better for engraving white tiles. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
I haven't run any tiles on my 20 watt yet or made a test grid, so can't correctly advise on that watt head. However, on a 10 watt, (actually any size), you need to run a test grid first. moonshinecrafts.com/product/beginning-laser-project-10-files/ has a test grid as part of the file package. There is also a video embedded there going into detail. Unless I am engraving an actual photo, I use SVG format files.
Thank you for the information. We just found your You Tube channel. My husband really likes your presentation style.
Great video. Love the tile images too, the ones I could see. Very creative! I see a lot of channels but don’t sub to many. But I did add yours. ❤
If you forget the paint, you can fill and color the etching with Sharpie marker, wipe off the excess and salvage the image.
So the black is etched and it removing the excess white spray paint

Do you sell these? My wife loves turtles and would like to buy some of those.
