Happiness is not a real thing, its an overused marketing word in my opinion. Joy is a real emotion but it comes and goes quickly. You get moments of it throughout the day. In reality no being is constantly in a state of euphoria because then they wouldnt survive. Savor those moments but endure all other feelings equally.

@@robertm3561 Uhm. No. You don’t know him. Neither do I. I do know that he got rich selling zip2 to compaq for 300 million dollars similar to Mark Cuban. Zip2 never made a dime and was a flop. Got very very lucky just like Mark. It’s arguable that without that we wouldn’t even know who he is.
He sells a persona because he understands that his persona sells Teslas. He’s very smart. But he is no genius. He contradicts himself constantly.
Advocating for AI, investing in Open AI, basically owning it in the 2010s and then selling it because he wasn’t making money to Microsoft. And then once it takes off, starts talking about how dangerous it is for big tech to have AI. It’s like bro your the cause of them having it. You could’ve open sourced it at any point and you didn’t. And then you sold it to them.
Said he would open source Twitter. Never did.
Says he worked and works 24/7 and talks about how much he works. Finds himself at every gala with Amber Heard and friends having 11 babies and playing loads of video games. People can tweet anything.
If I had billions I could paint a genius picture. Especially if it’s in my economic best interest to do so.
You have to take things with a grain of salt. Critically think. These people on the internet, you will never really know. You see what they want you to see.
Do I think Elon is smart. Yes. Is he a genius absolutely not. A genius definitely would not have closed source open AI and then sell it to Microsoft.
What’s unique about him is he’s a smart billionaire who doesn’t let the money satisfy him too much so he does some stuff like buy Twitter and tries to FUND going to Mars.
To be clear I like that Elon is out there. Especially compared to other billionaires like Zuckerberg. I just get tired of the hero worship and claims from people who have no idea who he is.
He’s like Taylor Swift but for tech. A pretty good musician but by no means the best, but being the richest and most famous one exalts you into a cult fandom place of musical genius and that gives you opportunities no one else has which cult fans then perceive as genius. Same with Elon but with tech.

Elon's words and the manner in which he expresses them, combined with the years I've spent on this planet, lead me to believe that, regardless of one's actions or possessions, if a storm brews in the mind, it becomes a lifelong challenge. The most effective way to perceive life positively, embracing its challenges and inner reflections, is to cultivate gratitude for what we possess. It involves slowing life down to a pace where it can be truly savored, not merely tasted. This, I believe, is the ultimate remedy for the problems we currently encounter and those that may arise in the future

He thinks rationally at a genius level, but has mental illnesses that severely limit his empathy and his emotions are incredibly unstable. And sometimes, he has to hold back so much because he knows that he will be looked at in strange ways or people will just not even be able to comprehend what he is talking about. Being wealthy can be more lonely than people who are not wealthy. It can lead you down a road of total depression to almost wanting to end it all. You can never tell who's being genuinely in love with you or are they genuinely in love with your wealth. It can be a very lonely place that having money can not buy true happiness.
Money is simply a "TOOL." You pay your bills with no problem and you can pretty much tell anyone to go eff themselves, however, it does NOT buy "True Love and Friendship." Will a person stay with you if you should lose EVERYTHING tomorrow?" When the realty shows itself that no one stays, that leads you to a place that no one would ever want to go!! THAT is what Elon, I believe, has been and is describing in this interview. He's been there, he's done that and it's probably somewhere he doesn't want to be.
"Money can't buy you love." The Beetles once sang about it and like so many others like Elon, spoke about it, it can not be more accurately CORRECT!!
Be happy with what you have. So many "wish" they had what you have... TRUE LOVE and FRIENDSHIP!!
