When this was released this was exciting news now days after Akira Toriyama senti death. We have no clue if the manga will end with the last chapter released or not. The ending of Z made some sense symbolically because Goku became a sensei for Uub, the reincarnation of Kid Buu, one of the strongest beings in the universe. He was training the future defender of Earth. Now Kid Buu would be nothing in terms of strength and Goku wanting to train him for another challenge makes no sense.
If Toyotarou is nervous that he can’t fill the GOAT’s shoes, maybe he can channel that uncertainty into Goten and Trunks’ characters. Toyotarou has his own talents, like thoroughly paneling out the fights so future animators can let the action flow. So Goten and Trunks should be good at something their fathers aren’t, like getting the general public’s trust.
Yeah I’d say pan is about the age she was in her 1st martial arts tournament and goku is still wearing his orange gi and UUB hasn’t showed up yet. probably not,because in granolah arc and superhero arc he’s weaker than beerus and these arcs in the timeline are only one year before the end of the manga,so unless he learns a new op transformation or technique his power level won’t be much higher.
I just can't wait for how they will introduce Goku's EOZ Fighting Gi and how they will do with the Goku and Uub stuff since they will either alter things or keep stuff relatively the same with the exception Goku has had way more experience than his regular Z counterpart.
I think that at the end of Super however it wraps up, Zeno or the Grand Priest will order to have the timeline change so Beerus never meets Goku b/c they would have became too strong rivaling the angels so it resets back to where the original manga ends and Super is a “infinite reality”
If they do go past end of Z. I want it to go back to Dragon Ball in a way. Goku teach Uub like how he was taught. And see how Uub, Pan, Trunks, and Goten would grow and eventually fix what Gt did to them

Super saiyan 4 literally isn't a thing and will never be a thing in canon. It's made up and doesn't make sense to the main continuity. It's literally weaker then any of the new forms goku and vegeta now possesses so it really doesn't matter.
There's nothing stating in end of z that goku is the strongest or gohan is weaker, the only thing implied is that vegeta is under goku in the manga, cuz the last page is vegeta saying he's gonna surpass goku one day, right after he goes with uub.

This also means that there's a strong chance of it taking over the gt slot in the timeline. Which would, officially, make it not canon. Course we already knew that given the fact cooler was featured in an episode despite not being canon to begin with.
That's what I'm thinking, as the manga is adapting the Super Hero movie which means it's gonna go past it and that most likely means the Black Freeza stuff they've set up will happen post Super Hero so it's possible the Black Freeza stuff will be paid off post EOZ but they'd maybe need to revamp it to account for the new threat.
GT is a different story line. Not written by toriyama. Toriyama's version will be different, I don't think he needs to introduce ssj4 now that there are more powerful forms. Uub can appear but the story could be quite different
I don't think they would bring GT back. It's not toriyama's work, the timeline will be different. I think it was obvious that the story will be different from the beginning. I mean a lot has changed and not to mention the transformations and techniques are more powerful in super compared to GT
*luckily for us OG fans there are two canons the dragonball continuity and the super continuity. The Dragonball continuity is Dragonball, Z & GT + z movies as side lore pieces then there the super canon which is sadly limited to minus and super.*

I always said Super took place before GT. Now the way I can see this working is probably after the Black Frieza Arc the Grand priest notice Goku, Vegeta, Gohan and many others are getting too strong to stay in their universes and offers them a job as Angels and Gods of Destructions in new universes. Unfortunately they all turn it down and as a result, the Grand Priest removes their godly ki and memories of Destroyers, Angels and the multiverse itself.

I just can't wait for how they will introduce Goku's EOZ Fighting Gi and how they will do with the Goku and Uub stuff since they will either alter things or keep stuff relatively the same with the exception Goku has had way more experience than his regular Z counterpart.

I think that at the end of Super however it wraps up, Zeno or the Grand Priest will order to have the timeline change so Beerus never meets Goku b/c they would have became too strong rivaling the angels so it resets back to where the original manga ends and Super is a “infinite reality”

Then some people made gt and it start after those events but as gt isnt canon, there is no reason they would go with this storyline, there is no reason ssj4 would become canon. Super saiyan 4 literally isn't a thing and will never be a thing in canon. It's made up and doesn't make sense to the main continuity. It's literally weaker then any of the new forms goku and vegeta now possesses so it really doesn't matter.

There's nothing stating in end of z that goku is the strongest or gohan is weaker, the only thing implied is that vegeta is under goku in the manga, cuz the last page is vegeta saying he's gonna surpass goku one day, right after he goes with uub.

@@davidsuper773 The piccolo statement is Z anime only, which had even pan defeating teen goten in the tournament (both contradict akira's current statement about piccolo being goku level, and the prequel + dbs: sh events with pan and goten's power level), so i don't consider that Z anime only statement as universal true.
However, the vegeta statement is directly from the original manga and it matches the granola arc ending (on chapter 87, vegeta said to goku he would train his ue to prove himself superior to goku), that's the only statement in the original manga that implies some scaling comparing goku with another person in the tournament, there's no comparison with piccolo, gohan, pan, goten and trunks in the manga.

That's what I'm thinking, as the manga is adapting the Super Hero movie which means it's gonna go past it and that most likely means the Black Freeza stuff they've set up will happen post Super Hero so it's possible the Black Freeza stuff will be paid off post EOZ but they'd maybe need to revamp it to account for the new threat.

GT is a different story line. Not written by toriyama. Toriyama's version will be different, I don't think he needs to introduce ssj4 now that there are more powerful forms. Uub can appear but the story could be quite different

I don't think they would bring GT back. It's not toriyama's work, the timeline will be different. I think it was obvious that the story will be different from the beginning. I mean a lot has changed and not to mention the transformations and techniques are more powerful in super compared to GT

I always said Super took place before GT. Now the way I can see this working is probably after the Black Frieza Arc the Grand priest notice Goku, Vegeta, Gohan and many others are getting too strong to stay in their universes and offers them a job as Angels and Gods of Destructions in new universes. Unfortunately they all turn it down and as a result, the Grand Priest removes their godly ki and memories of Destroyers, Angels and the multiverse itself.
I hope they start adapting GT to make part of it canon again.
