Moments from Kieran showing emotion when Terapagos gets defeated and he realises he cant be like Morgan, he also gets quite flirty with Morgan at the end as well when she smiles at him which makes them build a super close relationship.

Ok I’m glad I’m not the only one who sees that clearly the way he talks to the main character as a love interest and the way your character can respond is giving kinda like yeah that your boyfriend I honestly wouldn’t be mad if Pokémon/game freak let that happen in future games
They do it multiple times but then it's just considered "friends"
Probably due to how in Japan you don’t use “love” but like to confess, as love is a very strong word and is seldom used for another person in that culture.
So the most they could do is give subtle or not so subtle hints like this one. Though it would be more obvious if he was blushing- which for some reason hasn’t been rendered in the 3D models yet.

After the epilogue with the mythical event. You can meet Keiren in the clubroom and he trades you an applin and smiles at you while twirling his hair thanking you for the trade.
Applin are also said you give to someone you like or something like that from what I read.

Genre convention for RPGs but I could definitely see in canon.
Carmine, Drayton , Lacey and Arven all show ship tease with player as well regardless of your players a boy or girl. Arven in particular seemingly gets jealous of Kerian and views his a rival for 'best friend' of the main character in Mochi Mayhem. Even embarrassed of asking to come to the players home. Penny also comes off as a Bi too. Being she shown attraction to the players mother and even mention Carmine was pretty (though wasn't supposed to be a compliment)...and did find Atticus attractive when he revealed his face.
When he trades you an applin, in galar you only give applins to those you love 😘

This was such a cute scene. It's emotionally cutting but in a good way. Kieran finally opens up and comes in to help. He decides to be vulnerable and that sunset scene. That's romantically coded no matter how you spin it. My player is male and so these precious little gay beans must be happy together. And when he gives you the Applin while you're presumedly from Galar

@Malzary the lighting, tone, camera work, expressions. He is down bad for the player. And later when he trades with you. That seems like the second part of such a proposal.
Still sad the scene didn't end with a hug. But I don't know if my heart wouldn't explode from seeing a tearfully, happy hug of them

I didn't use the Master Ball because of the guaranteed catch, it just looks better in a Master Ball than a Pokeball, Great Ball or Ultra Ball lol

I lowkey hated carmine at first, she was a bully. She turned out okay tho, but I still kinda can't stand her.
I know some people are really mad at this because they didn't go in the direction of a "you can't get everyone to like you" moral, but I'm honestly glad we still got to be friends with Kieran.

@@MorgPSVbad part is they aren't even subtle about it, like in the sword and shield dlc you have Hop flexing and flirting hard-core, and at one point just casually licks Applin juice off your head like it's natural, but you're just "friends"? REALLY?! And with Kieran, I mean he's such a sweetheart, taking you to the mask festival, and goes as far as to buying a candy apple for you and showing you around, again obvious signs, but the "Friends" topic is used. Like c'mon, you KNOW that ain't how "Friends" act, so ADMIT IT! 😅

Like yeah, keep the adventure, just make it more human and have a select variety, shoot add some new ones too? Idk, I feel like it's just me tho.

Wow, today has been a doozy. First I learned that there's a secret area below area zero, then Kieran tries to catch a legendary Pokemon called Terapagos, and we have to fight it together, oh my Arceus, this is a lot to process.
Then I remembered what Carmine said down there:
'So Kiki, do you have something to tell Florian?~'
I was still wondering what he wanted to tell me. We were walking back to blueberry academy when Kieran spoke to me abruptly.
"Hey... Florian!" He said. I looked back at him. he was blushing. "L-look, I know I caused a lot of trouble for the League Club, and everyone..." he started. "I wanted to give everyone a proper apology... including you, Florian."
"Okay?" I said, distracted by his blushing.
"So- I'm sorry!" He continued, his voice cracking. "And... uh... I guess what I'm trying to say is..." he sighed, "I wanna make things right. So do you think-..." he paused, shakily exhaling.
"Can we start over from zero and be friends again?!" He blurted out. I thought for a moment. Should I tell him? Yeah, it's time.
"Kieran, I don't want to be friends." I said. Tears started welling up in his eyes. "I want to be more."
He gasped as I walked towards him.
"When I met you, I thought you were cute, adorable even. Then you tried to become as strong as me. I... admired your passion so much . Honestly I thought you looked super hot when you battled with so much talent. It broke my heart to see you so upset after you lost.. I... I like you, Kieran."
We were inches away from each other by the time I finished speaking. He sobbed a little, making me regret what I said.
"Do you actually mean that?" He asked softly. I nodded. Then he blushed, laughing and crying at the same time.
Suddenly he pressed our lips together, hands on my waist. I kissed back, placing my hands on the sides of his face.
We broke apart a few seconds later to Carmine's voice.
"Hey! We're gonna leave you behind if you two don't hurry up!" She shouted, halfway across the bridge. Kieran and I smiled at each other, holding hands as we walked back to blueberry academy.

Nemona, Penny, Arven, Kieran and I were all watching a movie like we were going to before the whole peacharunt thing (specifically a movie about a ghost Pokemon trainer who no one could see and was really sad until a growlithe died and became friends with her). It was nice, but then I noticed Nemona staring at me weirdly. I realized why; Kieran and I were sitting really, really close to each other, to the point where he was almost in my lap. I hadn’t told them I was dating him.
I blushed but didn’t react or push Kieran off me. I liked being so close to him. Instead, I wrapped my arm around him, pulling him closer.
When the movie was over, my paldean friends were all looking at us. Arven was the first to speak.
“So, care to explain why you’re sitting like,” he gestured at us “this?”
Kieran got extremely embarrassed and scrambled off me.
“Sorry I didn’t tell you guys…” I started. “Kieran and I, we’re more than friends. We’re boyfriends.” I admitted.
I thought they’d react differently. Nemona smiled wide and hopped up and down excitedly. Penny squealed in delight, while Arven smiled and gave a thumbs up.
“My ship has a sail!” Penny exclaimed.
“Wait, you knew?” Kieran inquired.
“Well, the way you acted together while solving the peacharunt problem was so in sync, it was hard to believe you weren’t involved in some way!” Nemona replied.
I nervously chucked.
“Have you shared a first kiss yet?” Arven asked.
“Yeah?”
“First date?”
“N-no…”
“That’s surprising. Well, not really, you’ve been apart for months, right?” Penny commented. We nodded.
“You should totally go on one!” Nemona interjected.
“Okay? But what should we do?” Kieran inquired.
“I have an idea.” I said. “Remember on the first day we met, you offered to make me a sandwich, but we were interrupted by miriadon?”
He nodded. “I called it a kaiju.”
“Maybe we could finally do that!”
He smiled. “I’d like that.”
((Next day))
“So, where do you want me to set up?” I asked.
“Uh, maybe the wistful fields? I think it’s pretty.”
I called Miriadon.
“Wait, am I gonna have to ride on that?” He asked nervously. I reached out to him.
“Don’t worry, it’s honestly kinda hard to fall off.” I assured him. He climbed on behind me, holding onto my waist.
Miriadon dashed through the Apple hills, making Kieran tighten his grip. There was a cliff up ahead that Kieran tried to warn me about, but I knew what I was doing.
Miriadon spread its wings, gliding smoothly through the air. Kieran opened his eyes, his jaw dropping at the view.
“Pretty cool, right?!” I exclaimed over the wind.
“Wowzers!” He yelled happily. “This is awesome!”
Kieran’s smile was almost as big as his face by the time we landed.
“That was incredible!” he exclaimed. “Where did you learn to fly like that?!”
I chuckled. “Arven and I found these herba mystica, and when Miriadon ate a few, it learned to glide!” I explained.
We talked about our adventures as I set up the table, letting out my pokemon to stretch their legs.
Kieran suddenly stopped talking. I looked over to him, and saw him staring at Ogerpon.
Ogerpon approached him curiously, before hugging Kieran with her stubby arms. He chuckled with a bittersweet expression.
“Hey, Ogerpon. I missed you too.” he said, smiling as she nuzzled him. I cooed, adoring their cute interaction.
“Agias!” I heard Miriadon cry happily. I glanced over, seeing it eating the sandwich ingredients.
“Miriadon!” I stopped him from eating any more. “Guess this is how Arven felt when you ate my sandwich…”
Kieran giggled at my annoyance. I guess it was kinda funny how much miradon loved sandwiches. His hydrapple slithered over to him for a bite, which he gave each head a small bit. His golden eyes sparkled as he played with each pokemon. I loved his laugh, it was so shy and cute.
We sat next to each other in the flowers. I blushed and kissed him on the cheek. He smiled and put his hand on my waist, pulling me really close. He looked into my brown eyes and kissed me sweetly. We stayed that way for a bit, happy in each other's arms.
Best first date ever.

Fun fact: in the league club room, you can have a dialogue with Amarys where she'll ask how you and Kieran got so close. One of the response options is to tell her you just met on the field trip or something like that, and the other is to tell her the mc and Kieran "paired up," to which she'll momentarily freak out.

I personally wish.My character could have given the kid ogrepron because I didn’t need her. He deserved that pokemon. He was gonna make a spot for her in his house like a sleep over. Boy was dedicated. I felt awful for wiping the floor with his ass with a singular Minccino. 😂 I didn’t like the fact he was self deprecating, crying, screaming because he felt inadequate. Like as a person who went through those emotions at that age, I really did feel awful. All I want is for this kid and my character to be friends. He didn’t deserve to grow as a person that way. But yeah. I’d give the legendaries to him and let him win. Like, bro deserves it.
This has nothing to do with the video but I love that it seems like people are more inclined to spell Kierans name with the E before I spelling from what I’ve seen yet it’s spelled with I before E, but with my name(which is Keiran) everyone seems to be more inclined to spell it with the I before E, even though my names correct spelling is E before I. It is so interesting and funny to me.
Terapagos will go into any ball no need to use a MasterBall on it. When I end up catching mine imma use a Luxury Ball

I feel that at this point Pokemon should include more of the theme of romance in the games as well as in the series so that it feels more realistic because no character or other NPC feels attraction or has a romantic interest (apart from Serena) does not The truth is that it seems very normal to me, and look that Digimon has more canonical/semi-canonical couples in its series, something that is not seen in Pokemon and although there is loveshipping between Ash and Serena, they only did it to attract the attention of the audience , which bothers me quite a bit that Pokemon doesn't have semi-canonical/canonical pairings but Digimon does.
Seriously, GameFreak and the Pokemon Company miss a lot of the potential of romance

Master Ball Makes the Legendary Look Good, why would I go for an Ultra Ball or Great Ball, it would look awful

Kieran has a crush on the player regardless of gender. Same if your girl or boy. Carmine also appears to have dialogue that indicates a crush on the player.
I don't think he was flirting there, more like trying to be friendly, but pretty heartening nonetheless
