It also explains why she’s back at Loyalty Hall despite going the opposite direction

It's hilarious thinking of Nemona abandoning all social tact and demanding Clay have a battle with her right there amidst all the suits and dresses. Good thing he's a good sport about it. Maybe some day she'll get a chance to take on Driftveil Gym and get that battle.
Nimona might have to start a journey in Unova though. Unova Starter, the 4 Gyms before Clay, a team that might have an Elemental Monkey with maybe a good moveset (No Detect spamming Unfeazant), 3 more Gyms, 6 if you include Cheren, Marlon and Roxie, etc. Unless Nemona battles Clay at the World Leaders Tournament at the Pokemon World Tournament.

Well, it's interessting to see how opposate they are... They both are (or at least were) obssessed with battles and getting stronger and this obssesion is linked to the player... But Nemona want to be stronger because she had fun and respect for us while Kieran was jealous of us. Nemona is the healthy side of rivalry (in this game) and see this scene warm my heart. He knows what he did was terrible for everyone, even himself and find help even without searching... Just hangin out with the goods peoples. It wasn't easy but they managed to make all of our friends get along without looking forced or awkward. (Event if Arven loves us... to much.... Stop Arven... Stop saying we're the BBF to everyone you meet... It makes you creepy)
Honestly, it would have been funny to see Nemona and Drayton interact. Seeing somebody so absurdly full of energy baffled at Drayton being strong despite his distinct lack of energy.
@@hunterhq295 Honestly? I wouldn't be surprised. Drayton is consistently shown to be surprisingly capable when he's not being lazy, and for all his faults, he's a personable guy. It would still be entertaining to see Nemona's energy bounce off of his relaxed demeanor. Drayton honestly seems like the type who'd just roll with it since he also enjoys battling.

All of these are wholesome, but Arven and Keiran's conversation is my favorite especially when they are talking about which pokemon is their best pal and Keiran started mentioning most of the pokemon that he has and are precious to him including his furret! I'm so glad he still has his furret! That really touched my heart!
Oh he was my favorite from the start. He had my favorite design and the most development in such a short period of time. He’s just so adorable. You want to root for him but also feel so sad for his spiral.
I think he's my favorite Pokemon character at all. He's the only character that I've felt BAD for beating. He's the only character that made me WANT to lose. The only character to make me actually outright cry. I love him.

Not shown because it's not "Dialogue" per se, but I think it's worth mentioning. If you send out Ogerpon during the fight against Pecharunt, she'll roar in anger at the sight of it, alluding to what happened to her old friend, and implying that Pecharunt had a personal hand in the Giant Man's demise. But if you send out any one of the "Loyal" 3 (yes the quotation marks are necessary), it's Pecharunt who gets mad, yelling at them! Implying that Pecharunt is furious that its minions are betraying it for a human. XD
Arven's feelings for MC are so blatant, there's no way he wasn't referring to how he swept us up on our -Raidon when he talked about the fall into the big crater. And then he basically told Nemona he wants to get stronger so we can rely on him. His interactions with Kieran in the beginning of the Epilogue also sounded a bit like they were competing for MC's attention/feelings, like Arven seemed a little annoyed when he found out about Kieran's existence, he even openly admits to Kieran that he was trying to be hostile to him when he apologizes at the end of the Epilogue, although Kieran says he didn't realize that.
Makes sense,the kid grew up alone for most of his life,with only a dog and his love for cooking Hes understandably feel a bit left out learning the mc made new friends without him
I love Arven, he's such a good character. I'm proud of him for having turned out so well despite his family background and loneliness. He even apologizes for having been slightly less friendly than what he thinks would be the right amount, and is always attentive of others' spaces and feelings, which is probably why he tends to scold Nemona and especially Penny over it.
Whatever feelings he has for the protagonist it's obvious his bond with the MC is very special to him, they were probably they first real friend he ever made, so he's afraid of the MC abandoning him for other friends and that's why he gets so defensive and competitive, the poor guy clearly has abandonment issues.

Honestly speaking, a direct confirmation wasn't really necessary: There were already enough clues that he was her father. The Excadrill on her team.....the diamonds on her hair pins....the thickened eyebrows.....the fact that his father is an Unova Gym Leader and is considered intimidating by many.....more than enough, in my opinion. The same goes for Penny, who clearly implied during the video call in front of Mesagoza, that her father is none other than Peony (the quote regarding the "Adven-tour" leaves no room for doubt).
If we didn't already know Penny likes women, I would've assumed she had a thing for Kieran since he's almost exactly like her in terms of being introverted.

Surprised Geeta didn't talk with Kieran since he's a champion. Or penny with Clavell since Operation Starfall, or Penny with Geeta since she has to work for her. Does Cyrano have any interactions?
I liked the conversation between Nemona and Geeta. Feels like confirmation that she is weaker than Nemona and the player, but she's holding onto the Top Champion title until they're out of school and one of them can take the responsibility from her. I don't know if any other Pokemon protagonists even go to school, so it makes sense it'd work a bit different for them. Would probably make things difficult if their school work got in the way of League activities and vice versa.
I believe Geeta did tell us that she recognized that Nemona was holding back during the champion battle, so the fact that Geeta still lost to Nemona at not-full strength means Nemona is indeed the stronger one.
@@hydrosphagus9672 Yeah, but with her new team, especially switching Glimmora to the front and Kingambit to the back, there was a little room to think she might have been lying since that setup just seems like such a no-brainer. I've also seen a bunch of people complaining about her still being Top Champion after we beat her, so it was just nice seeing it addressed in the game.
I mean, Greta is also the School district Chairwoman, as well as the main administrator of the Pokémon League, so her title as top Champion most likely refers to her being the boss of everything, rather than simply being the strongest champion.

I don't think everyone would call every character "likeable" but all of them are believable and, especially, realistic. Their emotions, reactions, speech, all feel "real"
I love how carmine gets kinda in a panic frenzy when she thinks Lacey was getting a date or getting asked... And with Arven she really thought there was a girlfriend waiting for him in paldea... And yet she doesn't notice how her best friend (amarys) loves her little bro With almost everyone she gets all girly and prefers to talk about "love conversations" Carmine really is a lovely tsundere ❤❤❤😊

To me some parts of the epilogue hints that Arven might have romantic feelings for the protagonist despite their gender (like Kieran, Carmine and Drayton), but he isn't consious about those feelings: -He wanted to visit the protagonist alone at their house, but Penny and Nemona tagged along, which seem to annoy him at first but he didn't seem to mind. Still, he did want to make a good impresion to the mom, so asked Nemona and Penny "to behave". -He got jealous of Kieran when the protagonist talked about their history together and he told Kieran that from all the friends "he is the best friend", although he got over his jealousy pretty fast and became friends with Kieran. -In the BB league when he talks with Nemona about taking all the Gyms and Elite Four to become Champion in secret, pretty much like Kieran, he says Nemona he wants to become strong "to prove" himself to the protagonist and even say he wants to stay by their side (forever?). -And when Carmine talked about if Arven might have feelings for someone he recalls the last part of the main story but doesn't tell Carmine who he was with (the protagonist) but rather what he felt, but since he doesn't seem to know about romance he is cluless and instead talks about the descent in Koraidon/Miraidon, and that's why Carmine calls him "innocent".

No, they are simply on friendly terms. They both come from rich families and have met at least once in the past during a party (a single meeting, if I understand correctly)....and they simply haven't forgotten each other. But Nemona want to be stronger because she had fun and respect for us while Kieran was jealous of us. Nemona is the healthy side of rivalry (in this game) and see this scene warm my heart. He knows what he did was terrible for everyone, even himself and find help even without searching... Just hangin out with the goods peoples.
It wasn't easy but they managed to make all of our friends get along without looking forced or awkward. (Event if Arven loves us... to much.... Stop Arven... Stop saying we're the BBF to everyone you meet... It makes you creepy)

All of these are wholesome, but Arven and Keiran's conversation is my favorite especially when they are talking about which pokemon is their best pal and Keiran started mentioning most of the pokemon that he has and are precious to him including his furret! I'm so glad he still has his furret! That really touched my heart!
Honestly, My favorite part about the epilogue is that we get to see Carmine and Kieran again. Not to mention battle them again.

If you send out Ogerpon during the fight against Pecharunt, she'll roar in anger at the sight of it, alluding to what happened to her old friend, and implying that Pecharunt had a personal hand in the Giant Man's demise.
But if you send out any one of the "Loyal" 3 (yes the quotation marks are necessary), it's Pecharunt who gets mad, yelling at them! Implying that Pecharunt is furious that its minions are betraying it for a human. XD

Arven's feelings for MC are so blatant, there's no way he wasn't referring to how he swept us up on our -Raidon when he talked about the fall into the big crater.
And then he basically told Nemona he wants to get stronger so we can rely on him.
His interactions with Kieran in the beginning of the Epilogue also sounded a bit like they were competing for MC's attention/feelings, like Arven seemed a little annoyed when he found out about Kieran's existence, he even openly admits to Kieran that he was trying to be hostile to him when he apologizes at the end of the Epilogue, although Kieran says he didn't realize that.

I love Arven, he's such a good character. I'm proud of him for having turned out so well despite his family background and loneliness. He even apologizes for having been slightly less friendly than what he thinks would be the right amount, and is always attentive of others' spaces and feelings, which is probably why he tends to scold Nemona and especially Penny over it.
Whatever feelings he has for the protagonist it's obvious his bond with the MC is very special to him, they were probably they first real friend he ever made, so he's afraid of the MC abandoning him for other friends and that's why he gets so defensive and competitive, the poor guy clearly has abandonment issues.

Honestly speaking, a direct confirmation wasn't really necessary: There were already enough clues that he was her father. The Excadrill on her team.....the diamonds on her hair pins....the thickened eyebrows.....the fact that his father is an Unova Gym Leader and is considered intimidating by many.....more than enough, in my opinion. The same goes for Penny, who clearly implied during the video call in front of Mesagoza, that her father is none other than Peony (the quote regarding the "Adven-tour" leaves no room for doubt).

I liked the conversation between Nemona and Geeta. Feels like confirmation that she is weaker than Nemona and the player, but she's holding onto the Top Champion title until they're out of school and one of them can take the responsibility from her. I don't know if any other Pokemon protagonists even go to school, so it makes sense it'd work a bit different for them. Would probably make things difficult if their school work got in the way of League activities and vice versa.

I believe Geeta did tell us that she recognized that Nemona was holding back during the champion battle, so the fact that Geeta still lost to Nemona at not-full strength means Nemona is indeed the stronger one.

I mean, Greta is also the School district Chairwoman, as well as the main administrator of the Pokémon League, so her title as top Champion most likely refers to her being the boss of everything, rather than simply being the strongest champion.

@@luckyinky7849 yeah! To me some parts of the epilogue hints that Arven might have romantic feelings for the protagonist despite their gender (like Kieran, Carmine and Drayton), but he isn't consious about those feelings:
-He wanted to visit the protagonist alone at their house, but Penny and Nemona tagged along, which seem to annoy him at first but he didn't seem to mind. Still, he did want to make a good impresion to the mom, so asked Nemona and Penny "to behave".
-He got jealous of Kieran when the protagonist talked about their history together and he told Kieran that from all the friends "he is the best friend", although he got over his jealousy pretty fast and became friends with Kieran.
-In the BB league when he talks with Nemona about taking all the Gyms and Elite Four to become Champion in secret, pretty much like Kieran, he says Nemona he wants to become strong "to prove" himself to the protagonist and even say he wants to stay by their side (forever?).
-And when Carmine talked about if Arven might have feelings for someone he recalls the last part of the main story but doesn't tell Carmine who he was with (the protagonist) but rather what he felt, but since he doesn't seem to know about romance he is cluless and instead talks about the descent in Koraidon/Miraidon, and that's why Carmine calls him "innocent".
