I am have been so sick of my bathroom and can’t wait to renovate it, but due to my recent shoulder surgery that will have to wait a little while longer. Until then I decided to do small projects like this double towel rack, made out of cherry and walnut using double wedged through tenon joinery. This is a quick woodworking project that uses traditional joinery techniques that will I am sure you will enjoy!
Thank you for this Jesse!!! We're now stuck in a lockdown and our hardware and wood suppliers are not allowed to be open so this is a great project to do with scraps at home!
That wall looks like lvl 5 drywall, smooth as heck
I'm actually in the process of building a pergola right now and when I started watching your I don't know stories I think they're more like stories because they're in order they're relaxing you learn from them then all of a sudden I've got these ideas in my head I mean just the best ideas that I've had in a very long time so anyway thank you very much for your channel I have learned a lot in one day I can't wait to see what I learn in a year God bless you
Man, your new tool wall looks the bomb. Soo freakin nice.
Love seeing a new video posted!! 😁As someone who’s never been to woodworking school sort of speak I come to your channel often to learn more tips and tricks to help me build my woodworking knowledge! Thanks for sharing!!
I was waiting to see how you install it on the wall without spoiling its beauty
I wanted to know too, those brackets look sorta thin and long to mount without going through the face
@@connectedlocally1868 likewise
You could mount that rack with dowels from the back, viola! invisible mount! God bless and stay well!
Nicely done! I never get tired of watching that chisel pair away a mortise.
Great built. Simle yet beautiful.
Thanks for posting again. Very entertaining. Your tool wall makes you look so professional - it matches your work, if not your carefree personality. Good luck on the surgery. Shoulders usually work out okay.
Love your videos. Glad the shoulder is getting better. I have issues figuring out hand planes.....I’m lost with them. Have a great one.
Thanks for sharing what you do, some of us still like the more simple ideas when we cant think of them...

...'cause when you watch the samuraï, you get DOUBLE the entertainment. LOL Great video as usual, thanks for sharing.
Great to see you back on UA-cam fella. Cant afford to join makers mob so it great to keep check in with one of my largest influences. Suggestion for your bathroom, big dark stone slate tiles around your bath, it would fit in lovely around your wood additions. Like a japanese shower room.
Jesse i absolutely love watching your channel your creations are nothing short of spectacular youre a real inspiration to so many. And i love your humour too if you were living in scotland im sure we'd be mates.
The shop is looking nice.
I just entered Dustin

Well done, always nice to watch your skills.
where can I get a can of „anticlimatic“ or is that sold in sheets? ya know... for the finish.
I‘ll see myself out
I haven't seen your show but im still smashing my like botton kaboooooooooooooom
Wow weeeee clean shop . 😁
great video, very relaxing to watch
It's not just me surely? My gaming laptop volume is at max and the UA-cam video is at max volume but your intro segment is really quiet... I usually would just have subtitles up but its not an option. Great project, and look forward to the big bathroom renovation in the near future.
Towel rack looks good Also enjoy your humor
I don't understand way he keeps giving us the middle finger, we are just trying to watch his video. Great stuff, thanks for the great content man! Keep them coming
Good Job!
It looks great. During your demonstration at the end you say "let me show you how it works"... But you didn't mention how it sticks to a wall. Are you gonna put some holes in it? How do you like to mount things on the wall?
Use a floating toilet and vanity. Gives a very clean look. Nothing on the floor. Very easy to clean too.
I'm not a professional or anything, but something tells me that would be a great towel rack.
Hey Jessie - I liked the towel rack, but can you show how you plan to mount that to the wall please. Even if your not mounting it for a bit at least go through how you plan to do it, that would be great, thanks
You should introduce options for those wievers too who does not want to build a towel rack.
great vid. why did you overlay the sound so low. i really had to turn up the volume to hear the vid.
Same issue here, it's extremely low and muffled.
Simple and beautiful also useful
Your shop looks amazing. Are the videos showing all of that work available?
Good rééducation, 👍
Complimenti seguo tantissimi tuoi lavori sei bravissimo fai sembrare tutto molto semplice. Scusa per la lingua ma non parlo inglese. Complimenti ancora.
Sounds like your throat is raw, try adding Honey to a bit of whiskey, love your work and watch you alot
Really like the project. Actually due for a few poles like these to be replaced. Just curious on how you plan to attach to the wall. I know you mentionned you are waiting for the rent to be completed, but was just curious if you ever got to that point yet.
Thanks
Hi,
Are you lucky enough that you will only need to hang two towels in your bathroom; I would have thought that you might want to make at least two of the double towel racks?
Good luck with the bathroom renovation.
Hey man, nice job as always, I love all your work that’s why I subscribe to your channel so I don’t miss anything and I’m going to participate on your draw. By the way I’m from Toronto
Cool!
Beautiful done! inspired me to build one aswell. How are you planning on mounting this on the wall? keyhole slot?
Very Nice! Don't see how it's going to be mounted - no thru holes or keyholes in the back?
@the samurai carpenter
Have you made and installed solid-wood doors inside your home? They greatly reduce the amount of sound that carries between rooms and make a home feel way more substantial.
What was your surgery for? Rotator cuff, torn labrum, etc?
Hope the rehab goes well.
I have a question, will there ever be the ultimate toolvest? or is that project didged?
this was posted on the 18th and on the contest website it says the contest ends on the 17th : /
maybe I am looking at the wrong place. anyways awesome build as always. stay safe and good luck with the shoulder
great job....
enjoy the videos, where did you learned the craft ?
love your vids bro keep em coming
Hey Jesse will you be attending anymore Makers Central events in the UK in the future when this is all over?
you are fucking inspirational! stay in the road
Perfect project bro 🙏🙏
I was gonna ask how you hurt your finger...then I saw you use the palm router and wondered no more...
Just kidding man, great to see you back on UA-cam!
Parabéns pelo trabalho não falo sua língua más assisto seus vídeos en Santa Catarina Brasil.
I doubt I'll win but i gave it a go!
That shop wall backdrop is sexy.
🧡
What finish did you apply to the bars themselves to ensure damp towels don’t cause them to warp or grow mold?
Should I buy a tool chest?
So... you put your towels on it? How do they... what ... how??
Ficou muito bom.
Why did you put the rails so close together? You could see at the end of the video that it was a struggle to put the first towel on, a second towel would be even more difficult!!!
👍👍👍
Anyone know what brand the yellow pencil was? My dad used to use them all the time when I was a kid.. I want one for me now.
would the giveaway also go to germany ?
Hope all the best for your shoulder and keep safe :)
How did you mount it to the wall? Or how will you mount it to the wall?
Hey Samurai, Can you give me the dimensions of your first toolbox? I am tradesman in need of a proper toolbox and your "sexy toolbox" looks like a good size for the tools I have.
Hi Samurai, Ima big fan of your videos and I would like to know what happened to the giveaway, because i try to enter and it says that the page doesnt exist anymore, what happened?
Hey mister carpenter, que se alivie pronto del dedo.
Saludos.
Is that marking gauge a veritas?
Can anyone recommend any good japanese temple builders chisels? I can't find any what so ever.
What is going on with the finger injuries? You, Adam Savage and Mungo Jerry just 3 I've seen today! It's like a Sike Milligan episode.
Lol...my girlfriend asks me the same thing...in 2 weeks I've carved my "holdin hand" six times...mostly from cutting dovetails
@4:02 you have a guide support .
Have you a link for this build ?
Can it hold gray towels too?
Less than 2 weeks until one of the kids uses it as a monkey gym & beaks it haha
How’d you hang it?
I love your Videos.
But all of them are are to quiet and the Sound quality is to dull....
I see you always use polyurethane have you ever tried the hard wax oils you use some beautiful wood and I wonder if some of your projects might look better with a more natural finish
Hi, I have seen you make a chest For Alec Steele and know that BigstackD needs one for his home made coins. Collaboration job again possibly
Please enter me into the drawing. Thank you very much.
Looks like you got worm bit---
Everything in youtube is getting boring and monotonous but this is just different and love the anticlamatic ending, we already know how should be hang
How do we know it even works when not installed. I personally have my doubts
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
