I like that tapping method myself too. This turned out gorgeous! I just made over a French Provençal curio a few months ago it's a linen white with black hardware and I chose a matte black interior! (My husband added shelves inside the cabinet doors below to maximize the space) It seems to be the focal point of our home now! Love it! Your work is very detailed I love the pieces you chose to paint. Very interesting! Thanks for sharing! 🙌🏾💐
I adore the textures ... it’s always my favourite way to paint... it adds so much dimension and old character! Love 💛 the English Yellow! ps... you look awsome in the 🎩 !!
Thank you for this video. My goodness, I was looking for an instructive video on how to apply the dark wax and the ones I watched before I found yours was a bunch of yapping and not getting to the point. I like that you showed us how, used captions and didn't waste time! Thanks again! Subscribing!
Forget the furniture art, how does one learn to paint without covering the floor and becoming all messy? And she paints in shirt, braided hair, a cute hat, pink sandals AND red nails? This is very entertaining!
I love how you created the texture using more paint and tapping... the black wax looks beautiful on the English Yellow! Beautiful as always and I have to agee3 you look adorable Kacha 😘
Black intimidates the hell out of me but you make it look so easy. I knew about using clear to clean up excess dark wax but not the mineral oil. Good to know! Thanks
Hi Kache.....catching up on some of your older videos ( don’t want to miss a thing!) really appreciate real time application of black wax....scares me to death...lol didn’t know about the mineral spirits trick..,,good to know....thanks for sharing....Kim from Delaware😊
Did you sand it before painting? Would the paint stick to heavily lacquered boards on a hallway wall or would they need to be sanded first? Looks stunning!! 🤩
I love all the paints, Annie Sloan is one of the highest quality paints and rustoleum gets the job done on a budget. It really depends on your budget and needs!
Hi Kacha can I use any sort of rag to do the waxes? Like an old ripped t shirt or muslin cloth? I have done my first coat of stippling on every single bit of furniture after seeing this video so excited to do the second and see the results thanks a lot for this video.
Kacha, bom dia!✨ mais um trabalho admirável e digo mais uma vez que estou amando a forma de filmagem bem de pertinho, assim traz a gente pra perto de ti!🥰 Obrigada por compartilhar teu talento!👏🏻👏🏻
Hello, do you always paint in every direction regardless the chalk paint brand? And also do you do it on each coat or only for the base coat? Some people say it has to be long lenghtwise strokes to avoid any brush strokes on the finished product. Thanks alot and great work!
Beautiful as always... I have 2 questions: is it possible to apply dark wax to a whole piece? I painted a nightstand and the color is too light almost white, we wanted a very light blue. And are you going to make a playlist on Spotify? I love the music you feature on your videos. Stay healthy and Thank you for your videos!
Hi Kacha, Another golden piece (pardon the pun). Just lovely 🌼. Keep showing the closeups they are great. How do you remove the paint from the glass? I look Forward to these every week 🌞
I just did one of these and have bleed through after 3 coats. Can I go over it with another color. Would that be safe. I used a cascade color over the wood.
Hi! Have you used chalk Paint with doors?? I want to Paint my doors at home using this kind of Paint. Is this ok? or it´s a mistake??? Wainting your kind answer. Thanks.
It's a paint channel run by an immigrant lol. If you are coming here for grammar your going to have a great time finding all the mistakes! 💕 Thanks for watching!
It is lovely! I also love working White Wax over the whole piece after using Black Wax

I normally loathe yellow. But this is really lovely.

QUIERO LA FORTALEZA DE TUS BRAZOS! EL AMARILLO -YELLOW PRECIOSO! 👍
Which do you prefer, Annie Sloan paint or rustolium paint? Thanks love your channel.

Nobody and I mean NOBODY does it better than you.
Thank you so much!
Love your work....your videos....and your music. And your dog....what’s his name?
Thank you Kathy! His name is Duke.

PS To remove Black Wax faster use a Wax Brush and Clear Wax and rub the surfase, then take a clean cloth and whipe away where you want to
It’s beautiful! I would have been scared to death, thought I ruined it when the black wax went on lol. I guess I’ve just got to trust the process 😍
Thank you! A lot of Chalk Paint techniques kind of look crazy before they take shape!
Have you tried to make your own chalk paint?
Just add Paris of plaster to regular flat latex paint.
Great way saving$$$$
Using Talc works much much better. Chalk paint made using plaster of paris tends to get brittle over time and chip away.
Zoe Emiko
Good to know.
But it gives great texture.
🌸🎀🌸
❤️❤️❤️
What are the smaller paint brushes you are using for the black wax
Do you have to reapply the wax eventually?
Beautiful as always... I have 2 questions: is it possible to apply dark wax to a whole piece? I painted a nightstand and the color is too light almost white, we wanted a very light blue. And are you going to make a playlist on Spotify? I love the music you feature on your videos. Stay healthy and Thank you for your videos!
Yes you may apply dark wax to the piece, it's really all up to you how you want it to look! I have never thought about making a play list!
Kacha Thank You so much!!!! For answering!!! I love your Art! 💜
Where do you usually find the furniture? This piece is so artistic!
And you painted it so lovely that it became even more beautiful!
Hi Kacha, Another golden piece (pardon the pun). Just lovely 🌼. Keep showing the closeups they are great. How do you remove the paint from the glass? I look
Forward to these every week 🌞
There's a few ways but my favorite is with a sharp blade, its easy to control and it comes right off!
Very beautiful. Congratulations. Is there an easier way to get the same result without dark Wax?
Petros Gogas not exactly the same but you can always dry brush a darker color and it will be somewhat similar!
@@KachaFurniture thank you. Your job is very nice
How long did the black wax take to dry in the areas you applied it thicker?
Do you ever use semi gloss?
did you add any top.coat?
👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋Como sempre maravilhoso‼‼💕❤💕
valdenia Borges ❤️❤️💕💕❤️❤️
I just did one of these and have bleed through after 3 coats. Can I go over it with another color. Would that be safe. I used a cascade color over the wood.
You need to use Shellac or something to stop the bleed through!
This looks amazing, I'm thinking in orange it would look fantastic as well, great job
Thank you so much!
Beautiful and informative as always Kaća 💜... One question: on the inside did you also use chalk paint, what colour, and did you wax it?
Hi! Have you used chalk Paint with doors?? I want to Paint my doors at home using this kind of Paint. Is this ok? or it´s a mistake??? Wainting your kind answer. Thanks.
Its ok! Chalk Paint stick to everything!
Where do you purchase your paint?
All depends on the brand. Annie Sloan is through stockist, the rest are online or in department stores!
The before was very beautiful to me, the yellow afterwards was too bright and doesn't gel too well with the build.
love it but more impressed how you don't get paint all over...my new manicure became a hot mess in a day
Eres muy buena
dulcemaria Ángel Miguel gracias! ❤️❤️
I liked it before the black wax. The black wax made it look too dirty. The yellow with a little distressing would have looked very unique.
yellow is lovely but too much black wax overall
"complement', in this context, not "compliment".
It's a paint channel run by an immigrant lol. If you are coming here for grammar your going to have a great time finding all the mistakes! 💕 Thanks for watching!
If you could leave a total time spent on a project, start to finish, it would be most helpful.
I like that you show boo-boos and how to fix them. :)
