This is the only car channel not dedicated to 10 year olds. Can’t stand the Car trek crew, which sucks because some of their videos would actually be interesting if they weren’t so cringeworthy.
I love this guy - what he doesn't know about BMW's isn't worth knowing. I love the way he teaches the younger mechanics and shares his knowledge but lets them get on with the job as well only getting involved where he needs to. He has a very nice nature about him. Subscribed!
You are such an amazing person. Always positive, funny and highly skilled. The world needs more people like you. Keep up the great videos. You inspire me.
I hope you had a good year as I enjoyed your channel very much and all of the great content. Prosperity and blessings to you for the upcoming 2022 year for you, all the guys at the shop, and their families.
As an E70 owner (my wife’s daily driver) who has had similar mirror damage in the past, a more detailed video on how to disassemble (especially how to remove mirror without breaking it) remove and repair components or fully replace would be GREATLY appreciated. Have not found good video on the topic on UA-cam. Thanks. As always love the content.
I have 2 x5 e53s and I love them, I know they're mechanical nightmares, but I like working on them. I used to work on my pickups and jeeps and I really like the difference in the designs and learning new things from working on the bmws.
Merry Christmas Jonny, Thanks for letting us tag along and see interesting repairs. Now I know more about BMW (Im usually a Benz/Volvo guy) I fully understand that I need to find a good Bimmer Tech and leave it all to him when it comes to repairs lol
the nut on the pinion shaft has factory PRELOAD (correct term) ...........it does change with wear, and usually there is a specific rated torque to set it. Usually, if the nut is set the same number of turns, it will be correct.
You're a great teacher and boss Jonny! I know your employees appreciate being able to have surgeries and attend funerals when needed even if you have to do it all by yourself that day!
Those plastic parts on the X5 snap together more easily with a little bit of lubricant and it doesn't hurt to hit it with a blow-dryer so the plastic will not be so brittle.
Can we please have a video on your X5 car ninja? Please tell us about its specs, the engine, the interior and common problems/weak points. The paint is lovely by the way
Don’t know about others but one of my pet peeves is people that pop off old wheel weights and not clean off the old residue , I have made them remove and clean off the old goo .
@NINJA. I have a 2022 3series. I removed the mirrors to change the exterior caps. NOW my mirror has lost its memory and always points DOWN. Even if I set it with memory button it will adjust to look down. Any advice
my x5 has the cold weather package as do both of my e38's, but neither has a block heater. i only drive the x5 in the winter. problem is the x5 sure moans and groans when it gets below -20c. when it gets to -30c to -40c it never gets to operating temperature, and sometimes goes into engine failsafe mode misfiring like crazy.
Although I like cars looking stock, the 348 drives much better on 18 inch 355 wheels than on the stock 17" as it doesn't suffer half as much of snap oversteer. I am one of the rare people who prefer the 348 to the 355 as a driving experience but I would rather push the 348 or take it on track days with 18" wheels and spacers than on the original ones.
Why would having an air compressor help with no spare? If you have a puncture would you do a quick fix and reinflate it? Is that even possible? Or would it just be for slow punctures?
Hello CarNinja. Used your link to get the portable air pump, and it's sold out! Couldn't find out if it will be back in stock soon. So, I'm hoping the 10.00 discount will still apply once it's back in stock. Thanks
@@realcarninja Hey Jonny, I’m looking for some advice in relation to a diagnostic/coding tool. I’ve been looking at the MK908P by Autel and was wondering if this would suit my needs? I like programming adaptions and retrofits such as heated seat memory, needle sweeps, and activating US marker lights (I’m in Ireland) to name a few but until now I could only do it on Vag vehicles using VCDS. I’d like to do it on BMW/Mercedes etc. Basically just wee tweaks and adaptions. Can this still be done on the Autel without renewing the license? I do understand to flash or update modules the license will be required. Thanks, Jack
I don't always see. I don't always see when I see what I see. Taking a deep breath, opening my mind wider, digging deeper, learning more, being careful where I share my trust. Might make for a better day. Why? Because? I don't always see when I see what I see. Bad is a part of Good. Bad creates obstacles for us to overcome. I'm working on a better day, are you? Sincerely, Jekelex Happy holidays.
Love the simplicity and quiet of this channel.
No needless noise.
Agreed, understated professionalism, I like this.
This is the only car channel not dedicated to 10 year olds. Can’t stand the Car trek crew, which sucks because some of their videos would actually be interesting if they weren’t so cringeworthy.
Less irritating cheap music than other channels
Isnt that great?
Man, EAB’s Ferrari looks gorgeous
Thanks for all the great content this year Jonny and crew, looking forward to more in 2022, happy holidays!!

So sorry to hear about Ben’s buddy. Tough break to lose a friend, especially at this time of year. God speed.
Bob even if it doesn’t run great it’s looking FABULOUS. 👍
Thank You as always Jonny. Merry Christmas to you and your family. I truly enjoy watching you work on cars and SUV's ...You are a master for sure.
I hope you had a good year as I enjoyed your channel very much and all of the great content. Prosperity and blessings to you for the upcoming 2022 year for you, all the guys at the shop, and their families.
Thank you for taking the time to do this video! Happy Christmas to you Johnny and the Team :) Thank you so much for video's and content. Brilliant!
I could let this playing in the background, only interesting chat when needed, the rest just comments of Jonny and the sound of the tools. I like that
Back in the day I used to spin balance my rims without a tire on it to see how true the rim was.

Hey Ninja, gotta watch out for the wifes parking!!! Merry Christmas to you and your family!!! 🎄⛄🤶
Always good to catch up with the Ninja, Happy Holidays’s 🎄

Merry Christmas Jonny, Thanks for letting us tag along and see interesting repairs.

Garage is so calm. A pleasure. Good work!
The color of the mac cart gets me every time. It looks damn good in orange on black.
Thanks for making these, a pleasure to watch a true professional.
Those 355 wheels should have stayed but what a beautiful car.
the nut on the pinion shaft has factory PRELOAD (correct term) ...........it does change with wear, and usually there is a specific rated torque to set it. Usually, if the nut is set the same number of turns, it will be correct.
Merry Christmas everyone
Bob's 348 looks fantastic
A good mechanic is priceless. Im willing to ship my 335i and 330i just to have this man take care of them.
You're a great teacher and boss Jonny! I know your employees appreciate being able to have surgeries and attend funerals when needed even if you have to do it all by yourself that day!
Always smiling…. This channel is awesome
Jonny, why do I feel so amazed by your looks with the Awesome actor Christoph Waltz?
Have a great Christmas and a successful New Year 👍👨🏻🏭🇬🇧
Awesome video, Merry Christmas Ninja!
Those plastic parts on the X5 snap together more easily with a little bit of lubricant and it doesn't hurt to hit it with a blow-dryer so the plastic will not be so brittle.
Warm up the mirror housing with a heat gun and there’s less risk of cracking the mirror
Can we please have a video on your X5 car ninja? Please tell us about its specs, the engine, the interior and common problems/weak points.
The paint is lovely by the way
Have you shown the whole X5? That red is gorgeous.

Euro Asian bob and Hoovie should dragrace their Ferraris.
Gorgeous spec X5 Jonny!
Way to go Jonny, Happy Holidays to you and your family!!
I like to see mechanics and technicians fixing their own personal vehicles instead of leaving them broke, nice X5.
MERRY CHRISTMAS Ninja and all the crew from Australia ( big fan of your show)
Bob got one nice and shiny Ferrari!!
Whomever put those 355 wheels on that 348 should be thrown in jail.....
love to see you're growing. bmw for life
Don’t know about others but one of my pet peeves is people that pop off old wheel weights and not clean off the old residue , I have made them remove and clean off the old goo .
Happy holidays to you all from the UK.
Bob's Ferrari is looking NIIIIIIIICE
Think you will find it is Urination Bob
@NINJA. I have a 2022 3series. I removed the mirrors to change the exterior caps. NOW my mirror has lost its memory and always points DOWN. Even if I set it with memory button it will adjust to look down. Any advice

That shifter is going to burn the hell out of his hand
Happy Holidays everyone
If you want cold, Ontario today is freezing.
No thanks, we'll keep our 54 degrees today and let our northern friends rep the real cold.
@@realcarninja we have snow and ice too !!! Bring your skates.
Merry Christmas and a happy new year:)
Ahh # 19, missing it by 2 min

Amazon said it’s unavailable for purchase at this time with your link
Went to Amazon to look currently out of stock on the X8 with no date to be back in stock
Happy holidays.

Bob looks like he's losing some weight. Lookin good!
Urination Bob himself popping in! Cool beans!
Fun fact...Bob is at the shop ALL the time and we realized we've never really put him on camera before. So there you go.
Why would having an air compressor help with no spare? If you have a puncture would you do a quick fix and reinflate it? Is that even possible? Or would it just be for slow punctures?
Assuming it's not punctured.

Just saying
Hey now, if I bring my car in for service I expect it to come with a complimentary prostate exam 🤣
I went to go check out the tire inflator and it says it’s unavailable. Did it sell out that fast?
yes. more on the way
Air compressor not in Stock and not sure if it will be back in stock. According to Amazon. If you can't purchase the product it's not any good.
Contrary...it's very popular and sold out quickly. More are on the way
Has Jonny been practicing his best Tanya Harding skills on Jon?
Fanttik is sold out it did look cool
Would love to see some content on that nice white e36 there
