Hey Dr. Gondry I really enjoy your instructional videos and I do my best to follow your guide. I come from a Caribbean island and I like to eat fried green plantains with olive oil and garlic. There is something else we make and that is boiled Yuka. Was just wondering if you could let me know whether the Yuka plant is safe and healthy to eat.
Hello Nelson, thank you for sharing! That sounds delicious. 🙌 Interesting question! We'll add this to our growing list of questions for Dr. Gundry to possibly answer in an upcoming UA-cam video! Don't forget to subscribe to our channel and turn on alerts so you never miss an update.
After owning the plant paradox cookbook for a while, I remember reading that yuka is one of the recommended resistant starches like sweet potatoes. So much so, that when I noticed a farmers’ market vendor sold a particular hash brown with yucca as an option, I asked if they could offer, yet they don’t always use it. The dish in particular is Brazilian stuffed hashbrowns.
@@rypatmackrock thank you for sharing that information about Yuka with me. I love having boiled Yuka with red onions and drizzled with olive oil and some kimchee. With some avocado on the side. Yea I know about those Yuka hashbrowns that you are taking about. They are delicious.
@@cubannel12 and every single ingredient you just mentioned is completely Gundry approved. I have memorized most Gundry approved ingredients and what to not eat, (even if the forbidden foods are guilty pleasures of mine), from watching the videos, and reading my cookbook. Let us toast Gundry for his nutritional health lessons.

Throw tomatoes away? Never, I eat them everyday mostly cook but also salads, am doing just fine, no stomach problems with them, they good for the heart and great for prostate,... avocados my stomach can't handle plus they are high in omega 6
I appreciate what you are saying and love most of these foods; however I have a problem with sweet potatoes. I don't like them except the white ones which aren't as sweet as the orange ones. To me they are so full of sugar, that I don't understand how they can be that good for you?

Does anyone know if we can reduce lectins in regular cow milk by boiling it? No other options in my country, sadly. Haven't found information about it

We use tomato paste and sauce from Italy, no seeds or skin, so we get the nutrients without the lectins.
I have black salt
I think he took some edibles before this lol I love his stuff tho
How about tamarillos or tree tomatoes??
We're so glad you asked! You can find more nutritional and lectin-free content over on our blog at bit.ly/3n8BBYc- thank you!
Will try this. So cut out tomatoes 🍅 even cooked?
Hi there! Tomatoes are FULL of lectins, but if you're able to prepare them without the skins and seeds, that removes the lectins.
Portobello mushrooms are dangerous = especially when raw or cooked at law temperature!!
Really...what will they do to you?
Yes what do they do?
When mushrooms are consumed raw, they can contain cancerous compounds. I stopped eating mushrooms for that reason. Google it.
