    Michael Garfield and Ken Wilber
This 75-minute, three-part interview was held between visionary artist Michael Garfield and integral philosopher Ken Wilber. For the first time (and as of 2009, for the ONLY time), Ken Wilber finally answers some of the hard questions about so-called "integral art" as an emergent form of expression unique to a new mode of consciousness and being: What the hell IS integral art, anyway? How do we know when we are looking at (or listening to) it? What distinguishes integral art from earlier postmodern movements? Is there an underlying creative impulse in the universe - and if so, how can we possibly understand it?

This is a really valuable conversation to me. The segment about overcoming the self defeating problem of post-modern art particularly resonated with me. I have shared this interview on my channel's playlist on the arts & creativity.

I heard Arvo Part’s Summa a couple weeks ago on the classical station in Austin and it was great to hear Arvo mentioned here.
