I own a lot of Elevated II and a couple Sub Alpine pieces and I always thought Sub Alpine was the most versatile pattern by Sitka. This video, to my eyes, reinforces that. I have had a number of mature deer 'stare' right through me both on the ground in a stand while I was in Elevated II. I have no doubt any of the three are more than adequate as scent and most of all, motion, are going to get you busted before what you look like... as long as you're wearing some form of neutral camo pattern. Excellent videos and your 88 patterns video really shows me that most patterns all offer very similar impressions per your filters so most of us are buying based on marketing prowess of the manufacturers :) But I am a hard-core Sitka fan and appreciate your work! Thanks!
Most camo patterns work well so wear what you feel comfortable wearing. Meaning, what keeps you warm and what keeps you dry. Also what holds up over time.
I hunt mostly in missouri and a lot from the ground. I wish Sitka would offer some of the thicker sets (elevated II) in other patterns. I would like to see you wear some of these patterns on the ground 10-20 yrds from the camera. Great job
Thanks. I am trying to get these videos better and better and take all constructive criticism. I also have the camo matrix. Give it a try. camohuntnstuff.com/camo_matrix.html
When you compare all three with deer vision, there really is not much difference, especially between the subalpine and the elevate. So it comes down to what you personally like.
As far as terrain goes theres almost no difference. The biggest factor is light. Sunny day im wearing subalpine and darker days im rocking on3 of the either 2
@CamoMatrix hey you should do one on huntech they've been around since 1988 I think it's a new zealand company look em up they use a 3d topo type camo in green white an black it's my favorite camo an what I personally run love your videos btw keep it up
No doubt certain patterns look better in certain situations to the human eye, but looks like deer see all the patterns about the same in all situations to me. I think it’s all marketing to get us to buy more.
The newer videos are much better. Excellent video. I am blown away by the camouflaging quality of Sitka camo. These patterns are next level.
Appreciate the video. I wear Open Country and hunt in the PNW, works like a charm
I wear Sitka Elevated 2 both deer & turkey hunting & I FEEL basically INVISIBLE! Love it thx

Spoken like a pro!!!
I'm not too sure but subalpine color looks the best. I should of gotten that color vs open mountain.
I own both patterns. I think it all depends. As the season rolls on and the surrounding and weather begin to grey out, open country does very well
I thought open country looked most versatile.
I hunt down In the south for white tail in pine forest, but I’m not sure what would be better. The whitetail system of the big game sub alpine
Subalpine seems to be the most versatile of the three for all around use in my opinion.
I’m wondering the same damn thing I wish the thicker colder stuff came in subalpine
Subalpine is hardest for me to see on deer vision in about all of them...
It is a good pattern. It is the number one pattern tested on the camo matrix tool.
Ive never been a fan of open country. But it seems likes the most versatile. Elevated seemed like the worst. Which i own the most of... great video
I have both of them. I bought open country first because my first test made me feel it performed better in more places.

Have the name sitka bit no muskag camo!??? Where's the Muskage pattern
I can assure you that it is coming up soon.
Subalpine #1
I really need to update this one

@@NastyN8thegreat2 Thanks for watching. here it is: ua-cam.com/video/1sFEDM0P38w/v-deo.html
Open country looks like the best performing of the 3

elevated 2 though ugly to the human eye, is actually more vestal than i would have thought.
the effort here is appreciated but a bad representation of the camo to back ground
