You're right, of course none of these "tricks" will help you, and I don't even have to watch this video to know it's another waste of time. Most 100k+ channels accumulated those numbers long before the oversaturation of YT market (somewhere before 2014), and whoever got those numbers later is probably controversial, bizarre, or extremely lucky. Anyway, nowadays at least YT is trying to promote new channels a bit, as many times something pops out at me on homepage that has 20 views or so. And you'll easily find out that it's about 99% of all channels on YT. It's just that most people don't come out of that 100k+ bubble and follow other creators because overall there just isn't that much time. Skill is uninteresting in my opinion, because anyone can easily achieve that (good edit and good audio), any kid under 15 can do that nowadays, as well as an appealing (preferably clickbait) thumbnail.

It's not luck. It's subs. The more subs you have, more people will watch your videos, since your videos are recommended to everybody on the platform. They just want to watch something else.(be happy you have more subs than me)

As someone who used this strategy i can say it works I published hazbin hotel animation when it was popular and gained 150K views from 1 video And 250K total from my all hazbin hotel videos

Back in 2022, I made a video about my favorite Nextbot which was Aheno. The next day, the video blew up and it’s still blowing up to this day, I still don’t know if people are angered of the video or happy with it. I don’t wanna send hate to anyone but the video blew up because of trends. Thanks dew :)
What if my trend has an uptick in UA-cam search around the time the game updates, and there is too much competition? Not to mention the regular videos in between that downtime aren't enough. What should I do? I have decent titles for my streams.
Im gonna get there somehow. My channel has 6 total vids (2 are shorts) and they all are in the 100 to 200 view range EXCEPT for my 3rd vid - it has over 1100 views, and I dont know why.

I can confirm that strategy one works. Back on my first account, I made a video about cuphead while it was popular in 2022 (due to the hype for the cuphead show) and got a little over 100k views!

It's not luck. It's subs.
