Damn even after all these years that is still one of the prettiest bikes ever built ! Every thing on it is a peice of Art John was sch a Amazing designer/ Creator of the Motorcycle World
I’ve seen this videos several times got to say I absolutely love this bike the colors the mags both sets the dual carbs and exhaust set up the front end everything great fucking job prob one of my favorite bikes of all time.
It stumbles because those early style S&S carbs don't have accelerator pumps on them. If it was upgraded to the "shorty" style that problem will disappear BUT looks bitchin and fitting on that bike because of the era it came from
That's not a Harman motor. Kenny Boyce used two rear heads. Also, one carb on the left pointed forward, and the carb on the right pointed back. Not a Harman frame. Not trying to be a Debbie downer but John deserves to be recognized for what he builds. Bill Holland bholland2
Hey man all I did was build a harman style bike. I used his engine (I thought) they’re gp racing cases and idk who else made heads or jugs anything like this. I also had the original purchase sheet and directions which said it was a harman engine. It’s a harman fork as well. I know who u are, I never ONCE said John built the bike. It’s a stock frame I modified
That is the definition of a chopper... supposed to hurt you if you dont know what youre doin...not these gd things that are 15’ long with a 3’ wide rear tire
dozerblade that’s a drag slick. It was pretty sketchy around corners. The whole bike in general is clearly more of a show bike / drag bike. 120” shovel with dual L carbs, rigid isn’t exactly high comfort
As I'm watching this I just happen to think of the old age term "Only the Good Die Young!" certainly in John Harmons case & many many others! Tis a true shame!
if you have United motors renegade commando bikes . just tell me is that bike engine is good . I heard that engine produce heat . yet bike is liquid coooll Chinese engine
You obviously have never kicked a big inch stocker shovelhead. I've had my club brothers who are 350+ get stopped mid kick...stopped me a few hundred times in my 22 years of riding my shovelhead. But I'm only 220 lbs..you must be huuuge..
Accelerator pumps, and or intermediate fuel circuit need tuning, a vacuum switch spark timing advance/retard (I assume the mags don’t have that function) a functional hypercharger blips closed and gradually opens with engine rpm when the slide or throttle plate opens giving the effect of a delayed throttle actuation allowing the accelerator pump prime the sudden inrush of air, its an action to response duration when theres a change of manifold pressure/vacuum or intake charge volume, or spark timing
Legendary bike builder. Back when you had to fab everything. Youngsters can’t understand how great this builder was. Thumbs up!
Hu Uknow hahaha I built it a few years ago
How Many showns have You Had the Beautful piece of Art in . 👍

Nice. You can hear how well it's balanced and can see tune in the gold tone on the chrome exhaust.
Gone way too soon but his magic still lives! I love it! 🇺🇸💪🏼
I had never seen a dual mag set up before that's awesome
Those pipes make it sound like my lawn tractor.
It's a true duel setup only hearing 1 side

It's like a person for gods sake. It's own personality. A work of art.
Those were the days I still love.
Very cool. This was especially monstrous, in the days when the average Shovel was 74 c.i.
Great chopper built por Harmam. I loved this chopper.
Carlos Laerte thank you very much I appreciate it
Absolutely gorgeous bike! Scott

Very cool! The bike really needs some moose antlers on the front you could than nick name it "da moose knuckle"
I love me a good moose knuckle.
the cylinders look pretty bulky ... the displacement is probably in the neighborhood of 120 ci ...

Step 1, do this, step 2, do that, 3-this, 4- that... step 37- turn on, and enjoy lol . Beautiful bike lol
I was expecting a kickstarter
That thing is a bad to the bone master&%$#@piece!!!!!! Hats off from the prairie man, we like bikes here too ;))...Amani
it doesn't matter if it sold or not ... what matters is that J.H. legacy still lives on ... it really doesn't matter who owns it
Nice!
timing advance could matter depending on the gas you use, carbs need Thunder Jets for high speed.. What a beautiful motor, I would love to own this...
That's bad ass
Nice
Magic
I wish that was mine
That bike is bad assed, if you google Harman it comes up with a picture of that bike with him on it.

It's got to be rejetted a little richer. That's why pulling the chokes on 1 click makes it smooth out.
Fuck'n cool bike.
