It stumbles because those early style S&S carbs don't have accelerator pumps on them. If it was upgraded to the "shorty" style that problem will disappear BUT looks bitchin and fitting on that bike because of the era it came from

That's not a Harman motor. Kenny Boyce used two rear heads. Also, one carb on the left pointed forward, and the carb on the right pointed back. Not a Harman frame. Not trying to be a Debbie downer but John deserves to be recognized for what he builds.

Hey man all I did was build a harman style bike. I used his engine (I thought) they’re gp racing cases and idk who else made heads or jugs anything like this. I also had the original purchase sheet and directions which said it was a harman engine. It’s a harman fork as well. I know who u are, I never ONCE said John built the bike. It’s a stock frame I modified

dozerblade that’s a drag slick. It was pretty sketchy around corners. The whole bike in general is clearly more of a show bike / drag bike. 120” shovel with dual L carbs, rigid isn’t exactly high comfort

Accelerator pumps, and or intermediate fuel circuit need tuning, a vacuum switch spark timing advance/retard (I assume the mags don’t have that function) a functional hypercharger blips closed and gradually opens with engine rpm when the slide or throttle plate opens giving the effect of a delayed throttle actuation allowing the accelerator pump prime the sudden inrush of air, its an action to response duration when theres a change of manifold pressure/vacuum or intake charge volume, or spark timing
