Convert the barn into a home. Both buildings need work, but turning the barn into a home and eventually using the house as a guest home would be my thought.
That is one nice property! Ready for imagination and "elbow grease". My kind of place. For me, restore the barn to house my animals in the main area and the wood/machine shop on the side. In the house, strip away all of the lame old materials, restore the stone, finish it off with wood elements, and perhaps some smooth finish materials here and there, and open up the plan a bit. Cheers, Brad, for some fantastic presentations! @ Brad Simmons
This has so much potential Brad but it’s not for the faint of heart. I’d bring in the Amish team and with a mixture of logs 🪵 and stone come up with an amazing property even looking at the possibility of joining the two buildings. The only difference between stone and logs is a few million years 😗 It’s got unlimited potential for an infusion of design and dreams. It’s definitely going to take a fistful of money and you possibly have a multi million dollar home. I would look into the possibilities for a hydro electric plant should spring water be available or geothermal heating/electricity. You can also build a few cabins either to sell or air b&b to help offset the costs and produce an income. Thank you once again ⭐️👏👏👏👏
What a vision! Lopp the top of that house off then cover it with huge beams while turning the whole bottom into a ginormous industrial style kitchen, then have the Amish build the top into a dream home. Nice place with infinite possibilities Brad!!👍👍👍
I could listen to you all day. I love your personality and how honest you are. I get alot of ideas listening to you about different ways to invest in property etc. I'm bad about not thinking outside the box. Lol
With bags of money and enough phantasy you can make it a paradise. In the country side of Andalusia or South of France most of the old farm houses (called Finca or Cortijo) are built with stone and wood. Walls are so massive and mostly the wooden columns and ceiling beams gives each house a unique face. Timeless elegance with corners and edges. I love houses with a a face. 🙂

Sense the house isn't designed Practically for our needs, but it might be a moral crime to completely tear it down,we would have to decide between fixing it into a nice guest house, or expand as it was being fixed. Probably look better if fixed into a guest house and a nice spacious, single story cabin with a big front and back porch be put where you said the frame house used to be. As for the barn, maybe one side could be used as a garage and the other side have a smoker and outdoor cook/entertainment area. Or maybe get a carport or attached garage for the house and fix the whole thing up for food processing and entertainment. With 23 acres a person could raise part of their own food if they had the time. Of course all of that depends upon having more money than we have. But I don't reckon it hurts to dream. I like stone also. When I was in the Philippines, I visited stone churches that were 450 years old built by the Spanish. They were beautiful and still being used.
Most of the houses here in the Philippines are made from the stone/hallow blocks because it is secured from the termite but I really like the house that are made from wood I feel like the old days

I like it! Love the land!!
Does the truck come with it? LOL Love the green Chevy, too.
I'd call it a diamond in the rough. Wanted to ask... Was that stonewall's last name Jackson?😂😂
Enjoyed it
Just one question how much is it going for

I like stone also. When I was in the Philippines, I visited stone churches that were 450 years old built by the Spanish. They were beautiful and still being used.
Most of the houses here in the Philippines are made from the stone/hallow blocks because it is secured from the termite but I really like the house that are made from wood I feel like the old days
lived in italy three years so i love stone, dave
Hi david sprinkle, you get it!!! love it.

If I could win the lottery I'd spend maybe10-20 a million and blow everyone's mind!
Oof. Can't afford it but I think that stone barn would make an amazing home and the house a perfect in-law house restored. All of that stone would have to stay. Love it. Have to win the lottery first. lol.

@Tom Cat - you need to be my sidekick!!! I love it.
@@BradSimmons You have so much fun in what you do, how can this viewer resist? I'd love to be your Ed McMahon, your Baba Louie, or Harpo Marx. Problem is, I don't know a thing about real estate. But in today's world has ignorance stopped anyone?
How much are you asking?

Love your taste
The music is brutal. If it ain't 80 's it's crap.
give me some bands you like and i will see if I can do better next time...
@@BradSimmons First I prefer just you talking about a property. No music is needed at all to make your videos better. Keep dad jokes coming.
How bout local Kentucky artists I hear there are a couple of pickers in the bluegrass state🎶
@@kevinanderson967 - yes sir! We do have some talent here. and close to Nashville too. just 3 hrs and we are downtown. Lots of music scene going on all over Kentucky as well.
not bad
