3 years I went to Thailand 🇹🇭 got sick 😫 coughing because of dusty dirty motels hotel 🏨 sore throat 🙃 my son too next morning 🌄 we went to hospital 🏥 Dr gave amoxicilin and other's medication 💊 🙃 I got reactions rashes all over itchy burned 🔥 hot bumps on my skin for 3 weeks took benadryl and other's allergies pills 💊 don't work I thought my liver and kidney was toxic poisoned from antibiotics suffered 3 weeks until my system cleaned out before benadryl worked 💪 👷♀️ good but 👎 not anymore went you're old and your body immune system completely changed ouch hurts sad
I don’t think Antibiotic damage it because i’ve been taking strong antibiotic for 9 months due to bone infection..till now my kidney still function properly its been already 8 years back…
RANAKEEN, THANK YOU ❤
LITHIUM!!!!😡😡😡
When I entered the VA healthcare system I was given an initial exam with a comprehensive blood test. It showed only an elevated cholesterol and vitamin D deficiency as things out of the ordinary. The doctor prescribed a statin(Lipitor - Atorvastatin) 40 mg/day, which I took for a few months. At this time I started noticing changes in my urine, fatigue and severe leg cramps. A subsequent blood test revealed that I was in stage 2 renal failure, something that shocked me. I immediately stopped the Lipitor and adopted a low-salt, moderate protein diet and noticed over time that my kidney and muscle problems got somewhat better. I am now very careful not to ingest anything that will impose an excessive burden on my kidneys to excrete.
Remember that food is the real medicine, and most of what the pharmaceutical industry makes are just drugs/inorganics - do not conflated with medicine that comes from living matter with what the pharmaceutical industry makes for profit ONLY, and never cures anyone . Facts Matter !!!
Wow. Thank you for sharing your life's experience with Lipitor.
I was diagnosed 5 days ago as diabetic. I went from taking Vitamin D to 6 meds prescribed. One was Lipitor. I see my doctor in 3 months. I'm hoping with this strict diet I'm on and weight loss I'll be coming off these meds.
Thanks again ❤
@RindaJane eliminate all carbs and your diabetes will go away.
Statins are very harmful. Big pharma tells doctors to push them for profits. Refuse them unless absolute necessary.
@@RindaJanedon’t take statins unless totally necessary! They cause all kinds of problems. Muscle aches, memory issues and others. Big pharma gets rich pushing these.
I lost my kidneys to Galadinium, which is the contrast dye used for MRIs. All i was told before hand was there was a small risk of dide effects. No one mentioned that one dose could stop my kidney function altogether.
Very helpful video. I’m a kidney transplant recipient, I used to be prescribed Prilosec I just had a bad feeling about taking it. I found that using Apple cider vinegar everyday and not eating highly acidic foods greatly helped so I never use my Prilosec. Ironically I learned it may affect my transplanted kidney
*MR OBALAR* ON UA-cam CURED ME TOTALLY ❤😍😘❤️
Apele cider vinager is highly acidic.

Thanks for making me aware . I go to my nephrologist about my kidneys and they let me know how to take care of them with proper diet and careful medication I take.
I recommend everyone see a nephrologist to monitor your kidneys. Thru blood test they can determine the stage of your kidneys.
Better to know now than later.
Incredible video! Very enlightening on the common medications that pose ricks to our kidney health. It’s eye-opening to learn how everyday drugs like NSAIDs and antibiotics can affect our kidneys, especially with long-term use. Add Metformin, lisinopril, and trulicity,
I was on Metformin. Now I am so close to having to be placed on Dialysis. And that is rough stuff! Watch my friend go thru that!
Lisinopril 14;40
@sandracarnley-adams798 I was diagnosed 5 days ago as a diabetic. I was prescribed metformin and lisiniprol. I've looked up the side effects and it's frightening. I'm determined to lose these extra pounds on me so I can come off both prescriptions. My doctor says it's possible to come off both within 3 months. My A1C was over the limit but on the low side of the levels.
Thank you for sharing your experience with metformin. Your comment has me even more determined to get off these meds.
Be blessed. ❤
Couple of horse trainers were caught using metformin on their racehorses. Rusty Arnold and George Weaver. What are the side effects?.
@@sandracarnley-adams798What is your dosage of metformin? And how long have you taken it? Thanks!
My nephrologist prescribed Farxiga for me.
My HMO stopped covering Farxiga. Then I was given Jardiance. It made my head swim with dizziness. I went one month before I noticed the warning label. I stopped it.
This is very informative. Thank you
Very good info.
Im already subbed and I always like you😊
Good 👍
I took Rowatinex 20mg
and K Citrate 1020mg for Kidney Stone for 2yrs. Last March U/A and Renal Panel lab. I'm so amazed the negative results only Urine test to be repeated next month.
Thanks Gid for fast healing and recovery in Jesus name. I was told by my Nephro to take vitamins only.
Thank you! 🙋

I’ve got a lot of research to do!😮
How about listing the specific drugs and specifying how much is too much.
scroll up, someone listed them
@@lovly2cu725 No. those are classes of drugs. Name them.
The dosages might be different for different people
I quit eating meat, fish and fowl 4 years ago. Primarily Whole Foods plant based now. GFR went from 69 (
Excellent information based on cited research! Thank you very much. Could you try to keep your videos under 10 minutes, it will be more accessible.
nice informative video
Hiw about health supplements like vitamins and fish oils?
I’m a retired Navy RN and very active. I was prescribed Moloxicam taking it daily. I have joint pain everywhere. The pain specialists I saw for lumbar stenosis said WTF?? I stopped taking it immediately & my creatinine clearance improved over one year .😬 be careful of NSAIDS
I had extreme joint pain. My Dr thought I had polyrheumatica or something like that. He said I can't test you in the office for that and the treatment is high doses of steroids. He said it would be better to take over the counter pain meds (which never helped). I read on the internet where combinations of certain drugs can cause these symptoms. I was taking trazadone and sertaline. I stopped taking the trazadone. The pain gradually decreased. After 9 months my symptoms were completely gone
Can you tell me Can Farxiga make damage kidney
Farxiga actually HELPS kidneys to improve their glomeruli functionality.
They were taken off a clinical trial early as they showed a huge improvement to kidneys whilst being originally for diabetes typ. 2.
Listen to your nephrologist always.
If you need to get a better doctor, then do that...
And there are certain classes of antibiotics that increase the risks of torn tendon tissues.
@samueltucker8473
Like torn Rotator Cups and torn Meniscus'?
Quinilones
Cipro
Cipro cost me 9 weeks in a wrist splint, and our weeks on crutches for an Achilles tendon issue!
Cipro does!
Would appreciate to know about the impact on the kidneys of osteoporosis medication such as bisphosphonates, abaloparatide (injectible), and romosozumab-aqgg (injectible).
Video very informative… good advice… ordered a trial bottle… HOWEVER, (1) The cost of $50+ per month to continue may be too high for seniors on a very limited income, and (2) being automatically enrolled in a monthly shipment program may cause negative financial issues with seniors who forget to cancel “auto ship” if the product is not effective relieving their particular condition.
Otherwise, I hope 30 days is enough time to determine how effective this product actually is, because if it works well, it will be worth continuing.
All the precautions written in medical technical terms.
Gp prescribes with not a lot of knowledge aboit them in my experience
I recently had a kidney transplant. Three months after transplant I had life threatening shingles. I was in the hospital for 10 days and given several rounds or treatments, intravenously of Acyclovir. Had I not had it I would have died as 1/4 of my body was covered in shingles and it was in my blood. The bad thing is that they gave me Acyclovir and were not giving me fluids as nurse forgot to connect it. All of my kidney numbers, creatinine, GFR, BUN suffered, it was very upsetting. I demanded a flush of fluids and when released from hospital I continued a high intake of fluids. The following blood tests, two weeks later, showed that my kidney had recovered and my numbers were excellent. Bottom line, your kidney can heal if you temporarily need to be on these drugs. Use wisdom and drink a lot of fluids!

The quality of medical advice depends the attitude of the medical practitioner . Some are only in it for the money and prestige ,
Most of them are in it for the money. Studies have shown that since the 1980s.
Taking antibiotics can also lead to c. Difficile colitis. It happened to my husband at the beginning of this year. He had to take a medication that cost more than $1500 with insurance
Thanks for the information I take lithium 150 mg ever night for my bi polar mental.
If you throw up eat potato chips.
Unfortunately,I have to take a anti viral medication for a very bad infection in my eyes. It is prescribed by an eye doctor. He checks up on me every 6 months
methadone too
Cause mineral deficiencies 😮😢😢😢
Alendronic acid dangers
What about antihystamines?
Ok I had enough, have no idea what your saying, too much medical terms, not all of us are Drs
I had heparin induced thrombocytopenia in 2018. Many clots hit my organs. My adrenal glands were destroyed. One kidney was described as having a. Kidney attack much the same way as a heart attack. It is atrophied now. Does this mean that kidney is no longer functioning? Im 74. I need to understand this.
Thank you humans.we greatly appreciate you. When i hear a robot voice, i quickly click that vid off.life is depressing enough. I want real thi ks and real people, not fakes.
We cant understand your report... Very medical terms... Please give some drugs that effect the kidneys.... I understand that all medicine given by the doctors can damage kidneys... 😅😅😅😅😅😅
Try slowing the playback speed down and reading the screen. When they use a medical term, the put the definition right next to it.
This is a well put together video.

Much of this was explained to me already & over the , most recently by nephrologist, as kidney function #’s were 1st noticed by GP. Now I am 63 yrs old . STAGE 3 kidney disease,DOC says I should be fine no worries , SAID THAT IN MY CASE THIS WAS MOST DEFINITELY CAUSED FROM YEARS OF BEING ON LITHIUM CARBONATE- FOR BIPOLAR DISORDER, NOW TAKE DEPEKOTE. , Also stay away from from NSAIDS, CELLEBREX etc.. , Need to eat better, & get back into exercising, been in a slump for almost 3 MTHS. , RETIRED , go to BED way to late, seldom drink alcohol , try to keep to a minimum. Best of luck to ALL

Psychtropics?????
Lithium ! Isn't tha a battery ?
It's a metal used to treat bipolar.
Lithium metal is in the battery, just like they use copper for electric wires.
Dentists prescribe antibiotics and sometimes liberally.
They forgot that those using methdol also has effect on kidneys, I loss several family members

Kidneys are kidney-shaped organs. I'm stunned.
Odd. They ARE kidney shaped!

In case anyone is looking at the comments ... your use of the word "risk" or "likelihood" is problematic. Usually the context is a dichotomous dependent variable using logistic regression. The estimated coefficients are NOT relative risk, but odds ratios. These are similar when the event is rare, but not otherwise. In addition, the odds ratios do not directly translate into interpretable estimates of effect. Some drug might increase the odds of an outcome by 50%, but the overall likelihood of the outcome could still be minuscule. You need to "back out" such effects into changes in overall probability. In SAS you can use "lsmeans"; in Stata you can use "margins."
sir please tel me my channel not growing and videos are not viral but my content was good video editing skills are good but channel not grow please help me
All I can say is that I wasted my time listening.
Why do u say so
Why do you say this? Tell us what your education is on subject!
If an AI bot tells you that it's a human, why should we believe it's telling the truth? Would a real human have include the detail that kidneys are kidney-shaped? That's exactly the kind of stupid things that AI comes up with
Every doctor has an opinion. Or is it everyone as an asshole. Consult your pharmacist
Why does it take so long to get to the medication! Just more click bait
Get to the point.
You may not use AI to create the script, but you sure use AI voiceover to create this video. I couldn't wait to see all the meds or make it thru your video because this was the most padded pain in the arse presentation I've not watched in a while. Gratz, a guy in the comments has a list, so I'll delete your channel and just read the list.
Get to the point and waffle on
Speak for yourself.
If you KNOW WHAT TO DO, you can PREVENT or PROTECT your kidney from harm or get damaged. So, DON’T BLAME the AGE. Get it? NEED HELP?
#8- The COVID vaccinations.
Too much unnecessary crap. Just get to the point! I don't have the patience or desire for all that bullshit you're spouting.
You probably had a hard time finishing elementary school
I’m 75 in excellent health, never take medicine without eating. I don’t drink never take drugs or smoke . Take annually physical test . I have severe depression besides that I’m ok and doing well . I don’t take drugs that over the counter. All my doctors are all certified. Lots take them without eating and so many allergies. That’s why all my doctors listen to me one mistake I end up in hospital. I have allergies from food scent medicine trees leaves . Cats is the worst . I don’t take what you saying no never .
Reach out to beat depression. Ask yourself what you can do to help someone else by doing something. Grow flowers from seeds in pots and share with elderly in hospital, walk dogs at local shelter, join a community theatre, prayer chain at church, sing, learn art, quilting, book club or something you would like to learn but did not have time before. The idea is to renew social connection, learn something new, serve others. Works for me and many others. Wishing you a happier life.
Excellent advice ..thank you .
