Great tv, lol! Yr a gardener, carpenter, builder, masonry expert! Credit to ya!! Skills & stamina , well done sir!!
😆😆😆👍👍👍👊
Excellent job Lee, it's great to see videos on fencing, laying paving, brickwork etc. I occasionally get asked to to do this work but i think you need to have all the equipment and experience you have so i only do the odd repair, replacing a fence panel or a rotten post, cracked slab etc. Looking forward to the next video 👍
Cheers Chris...that's how I started many many years ago....if you WANT to do it you will...1 post will be 2 posts...2 paving stones will be 6 paving stones etc 👍👍
Just watched part 1 and 2....you have done such an amazing job...all that hard work and it looks so much better and tidy...you are very good at your job.
Thank you Amanda 🙏😊

Nice job Lee, I always use gravel boards, once they are level just drop boards on top, no need for a line then. Merry crimble 💪😁👍
Absolutely 👍👍👍

You work so hard Lee... I knew you'd clean up the gutter, you are a perfectionist, lovely job, nice to see the gate recycled, we throw too much away nowadays and it will look fine with a bit of TLC. Hope you got a nice rest and a pint after that 👍🏻👌🏼👏🏻🍺

cheers mate ...yea sort another soon💪💪👍👍
cracking job, I was going to say I liked the more natural look first, but once finished it does look a lot better. I would love a go at fencing, but know it can go badly wrong easy.
👍👍😊😊
I thought I was the only one using the sds breaker to get my post holes done fast...and that's on new fences (dirty rubbly ground)! Cracking set-up and the tidy-up is a nice touch. I'm all done for 2019 after this morning so thanks for all the great vids this year: they give me a boost. Have a good Christmas and a safe and healthy 2020.👍
Cheers pal..ATB to you too 🎄
Brilliant job Lee...

Thank you very much..ATB to you too 🎄
Looks Good Way to go Good Job!!!
Cheers buddy 👍🏻 👌
Nice job. Enjoyed watching you do that. I do a lot of fencing and surprised you mixed the Crete up and didn't use ready mix. Plus a big well done with the posts. I know how heavy concrete posts are and they don't get lighter as the day goes on. Shame they didn't want gravel boards but tbh on that slop it shouldn't make much difference to the water run off. A nice job well done.
Cheers👍👍..yeah chose loose mix due to price because so many posts...gravel boards not needed not touching the ground 👍
I don't do any fencing, too much like hard work 😂
@@Premier_lawns_official hard but by far one of my most profitable services.

Great looking job mate 👍 im sure its been said before but get yourself a good concrete breaker and youll make your life so much easier !
Cheers ..very happy with what I've got now 👍
@@LHLgardenservices out of interest what did you get ?
@@JamesMontana I mean the Bosh breaker I'm using .. im more than happy with it...if a job comes in thats a bit heavy then ill hire one 👍
@@LHLgardenserviceswell thats fair enough. If you dont do many fencing jobs i guess itd not worth forking out.

Very good job. Nice fence.

good job. i also work alone and its tough doing fencing.
💪💪I got someone in for a day to move posts into positions 👍👍
Another great job lee 😁😎
Thank you buddy 🤩👍🤩👍
Great job. Four hands will make the going a bit lighter.
😊😊😊👍👍
Looks very nice.
Thank you 😊👍👍
You went to all that effort to build that great looking fence, but used that old gate...
Customer says what's what ...not me 🤷♂️
@@LHLgardenservices I thought as much... It's just a shame they didn't want it replacing. It ruins the overall look of the fence.
Do you ever just go back to this job and stand outside, arms folding, nodding to yourself, and thinking.... yeh, I made this!! Love that feeling when something looks good and took a big effort to get right.
😁😁😁😁cheers buddy 😉
As Says Lee, sometimes not everything comes in mind when pricing, unfortunately often extra work has to be done to satisfy the client and satisfy ourself ... Pricing right is a really hard work !
Boy do I wish my version of "zero degrees" was the same as your "zero degrees". What I call zero, you call -18! And I've already had a pretty good taste of it. I'm never ready for it, but this year is worse because it came about a month early!
Great job
🤩🤩🤩cheers
with the wind chill its minus 30 today in ontario

Brilliant job mate
Thanks pal 👍👍
Really nice. The digging must have been a challenge with those large rocks in there. Merry Christmas Lee!!!! Hope you have a wonderful day and get all the things you want for Christmas. ; ) You work hard and deserve it.
Thank you 🤩...digging no problem 💪💪😂😂😂....All the best to you too 🌲
Glad to see the customer went for concrete posts. Why people use wooden ones, I'll never know. 10 years and they're done.
10 years if you're lucky 😂...👍
concrete ones are an eye sore...
@@jeremyscuba Not if you colour dye them. It takes minutes to dye them every other year, rather than replacing wooden posts because they're constantly rotting. Much easier and far quicker!
Nice little sketch of a bow there! Voila! Merry Christmas to all!
Thank you 👍ATB to you too 🎄

Lee, If you ever have a spare five, try and watch this: Physics Life Hack: How to Remove a Fence Post Set in Concrete with a Lever. Although you did a great job with the elongated drain spade.
Brilliant .

Very welcome , i can not lie ✌

Amazing man!!

Well nobody should take o-fence to that brilliant job 😆😆
😂😂👍
That's a big job for just one person! Do you own all the specialist tools or did you hire them? Funny question to ask, I know, but it interests me.Thank you for doing the moss in the gutter! I like nature, but sometimes one just has to reign it in, and it needs to grow in the appropriate area!
Cheers pal 👍....I had help with the 8ft posts 👍
Hi, lovely work
I need to do my fencing too, I am trying to find the concrete post you used with the holes already in it for the support rails. Where did you buy your posts from?
Thanks
cheers 👍.. posts were from DW Fencing
Great video, what do you recommend the distance between the posts should be to curve it around a bend? I’m doing something similar but half the height as it’s being sat on an existing wall. Thanks
Top Job
thank you very much 👍👍
The neighborhood cats have a new challenge. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Nice work pal I’ve subscribed
😊😊👍👍cheers ..
The mower really did a number on the old posts.
Lovely job, a true professional going that extra mile & clearing the edges but sooooo worth it when you see the end result & its that dedication that keeps you above the rest. TFS Wishing you & your family a lovely Christmas & looking forward to more videos in new year..... PS How is the bonsi tree coming on???
thank you very kind.....All the best to you too 🎄🎄...the bonsai.......erm......🙈
buen trabajo amigo, saludo desde españa¡
Thank you 😊😊😊👍
Do you aim for certain spacing s with these type of posts due to the length of the rails or is more of a case of where you can get a decent hole dug as well and the curve I take it they have to be closer together
they were spaced equally and yes a couple more added for the curve. You CAN move slightly with this type of fence if you cant dig for ang reason 👍
Nice and tidy job Lee well done sir what do you use to keep your feather edge distance the same?.
cheers.....skill 😂😂😂😂
Why do the rails not marry up I mean the run up and down would it not be possible to keep them 1 level all the way around I'm just thinking looks gr8 but from inside would drive me mad maybe OCD
why would it drive you mad ?? there is no law for it to be inline..this is neat and strong and does its job...I do both ways and just chose this way for this job👍
@@LHLgardenservices of course I know there is no law it's just for me aesthetically speaking it would look better all lined up
Hi Lee. Merry Christmas thanks for the video. Do you have to use some sort of guide or spacer as you electric nail the verticals on?
Cheers pal.. few ways...you can use a level on each one...use a spacer or level every 6th board...I strike a plumb pencil line on the rails at intervals and just eye the boards along the way ..
Hi lee another great job and video 👍How long did that take you to do in the end and you did that on your own 👍you still busye then Christmas is nearly here hope you are having some time off. Merry Christmas to you and the family have a nice one 👍👍
not 100% on the time as I did it in stages...I got some help with the posts (8ft...😮😮)..ATB to you too buddy 🎄
Above and beyond
😊🙏
I live in a semi and thinking of fencing from my house to the end of the driveway which stops at the public foot path. Using concrete post and gravel boards. Is it best to start from the path and work towards the house ? It’s 22ft. I was thinking 3x6 then a 4 foot cut to the house brick ? Hope that makes sense
Start measuring your post footings from the house and work towards the foot path. You may end up with having half a fence panel at the end and personally it looks much better if any half (or whatever size) cuts are furthest away from the property. It looks more pleasing to the eye!
Thank you for taking time out to respond to my message and the advice it’s very much appreciated.
How deep were your holes. Where I live we have to go four feet. Love the look.
18inches is the norm but these were 24 inches...a couple had to be cut because there was an obstacle undergoing 👍
How do you keep the correct spacing of the overlapping palings ?
You can keep a small spacer in your hand but I level the first one and do so many by eye and keep checking every so many
Great job as usual lee well done, can I ask if you listen to music, podcasts or audiobooks (mainly)
Cheers pal...just the radio mate..(.and popmaster Radio 2 ...10.30am)....but been listening to plays on Radio 4 lately 🤣🤣🤣🤣 ...must be showing my age now 🙈
What length are those post never seen them before, have you tried post mix
what no capping
If you want to pay for the capping feel free 👍
Nice job mucker. Have you got the maintenance contract for this garden? I believe it was 'just' a tidy-up (and fence) wasn't it? Reason I ask is that after all your hard graft it'll all be a real shame (regarding weeds) if it isn't kept on top of - especially the bit on the outside of the fence up to the kerbstones. As we all know it would be a real shame if it wasn't regularly kept in check. Have a nice Christmas Holiday Lee, I think you might just have deserved it!
Cheers pal..No I wont get the maintenance and you are quite right it will be back to a jungle in no time 😦😦..my work here is done...on to the next one 🤣 ATB to you too
Another problem people think when having fencing done they have Landscaping too
What nail gun can i buy to attach the feather edge fencing to the cross bars???
Merry Christmas lee
Merry christmas buddy.. Happy New Year 🎄🎄🎄
