    Reese's cups are expensive and not available in most stores where I live, thanks man

    I used a very similar recipe, except that I used semi-bitter choclate (couldn't find milk choclate in the shop where I bought the choclate). Normally I love bitter more than milk choclate, but for these butter cups, I think milk choclate is just better. Next time I'll do that... By the way, I used salted peanuts to make my peanut butter and then mixed it with powder sugar and some butter to make the filling smooth. Tastes great too.

      I agree about milk chocolate being better. I’ve tried them with semi-sweet in the past and it was a bit too bitter.

      I think the chocolate and peanut butter taste smoother in the homemade version. What do you think?

    How do you store the cups after they have been made

    • @CookWithLeo
      @CookWithLeo  Рік тому +3

      I store them in a cool, dry place so that the chocolate doesn’t melt. If you want to store longer term then you can refrigerate or freeze them.

    The recipe isn't right, there is too much peanut butter left, the chocolate was only enough for half the peanut butter.😡😡😡😡😡

      @@naturalscratcher9498 I can see the cups made with less peanut butter. Then use the remaining peanut butter to add a large drop on the top.

    Question why do you use powdered sugar to put in peanut butter is the peanut butter by itself is already sweet I mean some peanut butter is most peanut butters ain't but why do you need powdered sugar and can you just go to your regular store to Walmart and get the Reese's cups of peanut butter that's already made and get you some chocolate

  • @glomerol8300
    @glomerol8300 8 місяців тому +1

    Reese's skimps on the chocolate (which is probably the more expensive of the ingredients) and the peanut butter mixture actually often shows on the sides of its cups. (Quality may have gone down since its inception.) So yours are far and away superior. You can also use a high-quality dark chocolate of course (melted Belgian or Swiss chocolate bar) and it's very good too.
    Thanks for the video. Nice hands/voice.

    Great recipe, but lose the music. Very distracting and makes it hard to hear your instructions.
