Thanks! Vet good review!! Very good move with the sound clips, really helped my understanding of the review unit. When people just mention songs and timestamps is just too exhausting to look it up. Keep up the good work! 👏
Big thanks for this review. If I could give a small tip for the editing it would be to add a slight fade in + fade out to the audio samples to make the transition of your comments way more smooth. Also isn't it nuts that we haven't finished JANUARY and we are already mentioning iem of the year? This year is completely bananas on Chifi release.
I wasn't happy with the fit of the EM6L until I tip and cable rolled. Ended up purchasing an inexpensive older black 2.5mm Simgot cable from Amazon, now they fit so well they can be worn when working out.
I like my ew200 so much. Subbass on ew200 freaking great for its price. I want fuller mid little bit (not to thick), subbass deeper. Should I go for ea500lm or NICEHCK F1 pro? Some people"s reviews said that ea500lm so much shouty & harsh. It has more quantities bass but it seems muddy and not controlled as ew200.
It’ll be interesting to try these. I use the Apple AirPod Pro 2 on my android phone because of the mix of audio quality, transparency and noise cancellation as well as the sheer pocketability. I have several other wireless earbuds including Status Between ANC, Ear fun pro 3, Shure Bluetooth ear hooks with detachable earbuds (I use double triple and quad driver buds with these and they work with the 7hz Timeless to make them wireless though not as good as wired. I don’t bother with eq on the go, it’s just not worth it for me as when I’m on the go, audio quality is less important. I use a chord mojo 2 with my IEMs (including the Hexa) and headphones. So, I could do some eq’ing in the go. I also like that the Apple AirPods Pro 2 work seamlessly over a few products that I have, almost magically! And the battery can be replaced by Apple in a few years.
Nice. On the go I just keep it simple with Apple Air Pods pro 2. I think knew all have our audio sins in that we have products that we like and don’t like. A buddy of mine told me he used his 64 audio u12t at the gym for a while. Seems excessive!
@@Jaytiss so true about audio sins! I loved my Shure 846 quad drivers which I had for over 10 years and used on the go and whenever I could. It spoilt me! I've got a few iems that I've accumulated including 7hz Timeless which I love - they're so much fun, some Hexas (i was disappointed until I used with chord mojo 2), Sennheiser ie600 and some simgot EA500lm on the way. However, I'm considering whether to go for something different as well. There is a point when enjoyment turns to hobby to passion to obsession. I'm not at obsession - yet! I do like my Status Between ANC wireless earbuds but they can't compete with wired and the chord 2, but are practical and sound very good compared to many true wireless earbuds, have great battery life and ipx rating and look refreshingly different.
I've had them for almost a week now. Compared to the ew200s, it definitely sounds better overall (deeper, cleaner). My only gripe with them is that the nozzle ends are a bit larger and aren't as tapered so it hurts my ears to wear as long as the ew200s--which I don't mind since the latter has started to lose volume on the left side until I desiccate it for a while
@@irwanchel I won't know if my small is your small, but there's still the option of using smaller eartips, or otherwise powering through and have the ear canals stretch after a long time if you can manage the discomfort
Got mine yesterday, first impressions was they were bright and brittle. Set them aside playing for 6 hours and its tamed them a bit. Definitely an upgrade over my fiio f3 and olina, but still not blown away. Think i need to spend a lot more money to be impressed, these are $108 in the UK 😂 im using a ifi stack dac/amp combo btw.
Jay i think i starting to develop itchness for iems specially as melody owner seeing everyone talking about other sets such as the LM or the artti t10 and how much better they are but at the same time is not good financially habit to develop specially as young person not having alot of income/materalistic etc , how do you keep your iem itchness in check and be statisfied with what you have?
That’s hard. I find one key is to make friends and borrow their sets. Iems are easy to ship. Eq is also helpful and cheap. Also go to local meetups. You only need one iem to be in the iem game not 1000s. Melody is a solid iem! Honestly you may not get too much from upgrading. Planars that fit your ear 👂 s and that you like, so good.
You briefly compare it with the Chopin. Do they have similar resolution? I love my Chopin, would the EA500LM bring something new to the table (different flavor)?
It's good. I really like the tinhifi T5S and it has some characteristics that make it competitive. I'll be doing a review of it, but real life has been busy. Tinhifi T5S is a fantastic set if you are considering it, but EA500LM is cheaper.
It should be aligned. I started putting a few graphs up without recognizing it is an issue. I know the EW200 needs to be fixed. I have fixed a few others recently, and will fix the ew200 soon!
I think the Simgot ea500lm is better by 5-10%. It may not be worth the money to upgrade. I’d recommend to go with the ew200 to start. Some good sales on it.
My Pula is on loan. Quality wise they are about the same. When I get it back I'll check. to me the Simgot EA500 is on par with many 200 dollar sets like the Quintet or Aful 5. Check my ranking list for the most up todate comparisons.
@@Jaytiss something like JQ 4U Pro, P1 Max Giant Panda, Hisenior T4, Seeaudio Yume 2 etc is a much better representation of what music actually sounds like. I like music, not iems screaming at me. I sent EA500 back after 20 mins of ear splitting torture and here's LM with more screams. Hard pass.
Another great video. You are really great at this and I watch all of the IEM reviewers. You are a natural and in tune with the average listener.
Wow, thank you! Very kind!
Nice review. Mine should be here in a couple of days. Thanks for all your hard work!
Thanks for the nice words!

I CANNOT wait for the Tanchjim Solos to come out!!!
Solos? Interesting…

If you like ew300. It’s a fine iem.
Got mine today, prefer the LM over the OG, I find them warmer across the whole frequency range.
Same. I found the og too lean.

I get tons of adds for the Status ear buds! I’m glad they are good. I’ve heard good things about the Shure 846. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah I do find them very good for the price and very enjoyable. But like... more inoffensive than great. Nice value set for sure.
Do you think cca hydro would be an upgrade?
I think so. I like the hydro.

waiting for my pair to ship out after pro-order process 😊 I'm quite excited
Good luck!! That's fun. It's a good set. One of those sets that I think everyone will either enjoy or respect for what they can do at the price!
7hz sonus has been my favorite under 100 rn. These will be my next buy though.
I think you’ll like it.
You briefly compare it with the Chopin. Do they have similar resolution? I love my Chopin, would the EA500LM bring something new to the table (different flavor)?
No the resolution isn’t as good. Chopin is pretty sweeet to my ear.
I own the gizaudio galelio. Do you think the LM is an upgrade? Or do they compliment the galelio?
I think so. The simgot is a great set.
Great review sir! How does it compare to dunu falcon u? They seem to be similar, fu worth more $100?
💯👍
I want to say it’s very competitive if not better. I really like it, and think there is reason to get the ea500lm to save money. It’s a nice set.
@@Jaytiss thanks! I think I will go for the ea500lm
I think it’s a safe bet especially at the price. I really like it.
Hello, help me choose iem headphones. the choice fell on artti t10 and simgot EA500. I take headphones to listen to music and play games.
Really depends on what you want. I personally haven’t heard the artti but hear it’s a good value.

shouldn't the 8k coupler peak be aligned on all graphs?

Thanks for the reminder. XD
What nozzle and oring did you use ?
I used gold. Just the stock one.
is this an upgrade or sidegrade to the tangzu fudu?
I haven't heard the fudu, so I can't say.
Bro how is e500lm uprade from ew200
It's good. I think it’s a bit more dynamic and fun. Ew200 is very nice and I can see people liking it more. Ew200 is more neutral and relaxing.
