what impedance adapter you used in braindance?

Jay - I'm confused. The DaVinci has bloated low frequencies that adversely impacts the clarity, tone and texture of the mid-range. In addition the mid-range timbre is wonky and un-natural. Many sound engineers corroborate my assessment. Hence, why do you prefer the flawed DaVinci over the Cincotres? Respectfully, you don't possess the skills to accurately differentiate and critique sound!

Hi, I am new to your channel but I have some disagreements concerning your headphone rankings. Technical ability from your iem page is described as "Average imaging, note weight, soundstage." If this holds true in the category of headphones I whole heartedly disagree with some of your rankings of headphones entirely since I own them myself. To keep it simple these are the headphones I own that are part of your list: FT1, AKG K371, PC38x, HD560S, X2HR, Blackshark v2, SHP9500, M40x. This is how I would rank them for technical ability instead: FT1 - 6.5, K371 - 5, PC38x - 8.5, HD560S - 9, X2HR - 7.5, Blackshark v2 - 7.5, SHP9500 - 6.5, M40x - 8

Hmm, interesting. I've tried the regular Mega 5 EST and I love it. Just have no funds to get it. I've tried to EQ the closest IEM I have from the mid frequency range above to lessen weird effects from those regions. And I .... kind of don't like it. I'm waiting patiently for a shop that I go to frequently to bring in the Bass+ and try both. Thanks for the review!

I love the P5+2 as well, but pretty sure i got a faulty set where my right side is noticabley quieter than the left. There are times when I think "maybe it's just in my head and they are fine", but i think im just trying to cope lol

Great video, I am a bass head and was very interested in Dunu BD but was afraid that it wont satisfy bass heavy track but after watching your video that Impedence adaptor will fix the issue, I want to give it a try can you recommend the Impendence adaptor and does it have any downfall in impacting midrange I love vocals to be very clean and bit forward. Is the Terra vented? The graph looks wonderful, but I can’t do unvented (i.e. crimson) I picked up the brain dance and with a 25ohm adapter it’s my favorite set at the moment. Seems pretty divisive among reviewers. Great reviews! Definitely one of my favorite reviewers. Good luck in the new year

For me personally the Ziigaat Estrella is the IEM of the year. The Estrella with a tape mod sounds like a mix of the Canpur CP622B and the Dunu Glacier. It has the impact close to the CP622B and the tonality of the Glacier and all for $300 is really mind blowing.

I have the Explorer and while I like it, I don't quite share your enthusiasm. I still haven't found the best pairing for it, it often sounds soft and flat. Surprisingly, the cheap Kiwi Ears Allegro Mini seems to bring it to life.

I think the Punch is made for those test tracks

Try a 25ohm impedance adapter on the Mega5EST Bass on kill Jill and let me know what you think. My jaw dropped. This combo is iem of the year to me followed by the Punch (which released a month ago so will go towards 2025)

I have tried to respect your criteria for ranking IEMs/over ears despite some inconsistencies, but modifying and altering the ranking table every so often is, for me, a lack of respect for your audience (the buyers). Remember that the tables/ranks serve to help and clarify for the buyers, not the opposite. From youtuber to youtuber, very disappointed. You chose the path of clicks.

I ordered the Aful P7 partly based on your review. Hopefully I like it. Any reason you didnt use a few tracks in a variety of music genres for this important test?
