I hate that Simgot used the same shell as the OG, I hate that Simgot used the EM6L cable, and most of all I hate that Simgot completely devalued my more expensive sets. Although the tuning may not be everyone's target, what the LM is capable of for under $100 is nothing short of amazing.

Great review. I use the gold nozzle with the addition of a #500 grade filter on the nozzle. It shaves 2-3db off of the upper mids and the lower treble. That hits my happy spot. Kudos.

Thanks for the review. Are these good as first IEM's? I have the Hifiman Edition XS, hope the sound of EA500LM won't be much worse. I know they are completely different 😅

I bought these for $65 with tax and they are on the way for delivery. I hope it's worth it for money.

DB looks like it was not updated for a while.
How does it holds against Chopin?

is hexa still better than ea500lm overall?

Good question. Hmmmm.. i think the tonality of hexa wins it for me subjectively.. but ea500lm is still a good iem regardless, especially if you are looking for an all-rounder😇

@@Practiphile thanks for replying, I'll go with hexa, i thought hexa is like one year old now so it would still be an valid option or not in 2024
