@@HiFiHuff Thanks for the reply. I understand new gears comes in all the time. Just that I remember you said in the Eletrocompaniet streamer review that it replaced the RS130 as reference. I thought it will be the reference when compared to new streamer reviewed.
Hopefully soon you'll be able to review the new Bluesound Icon streamer. I'm so ready to pull the trigger on it at $1,000 but I'm looking forward to you and a couple of other reviews including Matt Moremon at Obsessed Garage before I do that.
@toddt5562 lol. Yes indeed. I use roon, pay for Qobuz and Tidal. My fave way to listen is Spotify connect and the Tidal connect. In fact, they can sound as good or better with the reigning setup. High res is truly sort of a scam in high end audio. Also, 100% yes that these high end sources can do magic with Spotify. I’ve sat in here listening to Spotify with tears coming down my cheeks. I have tons of high res tracks as well as DSD but Spotify and Tidal connect sound glorious, magical, three dimensional and fully immersive. Some high res sounds sterile and that’s not what I go for or seek within a high end system. I’m not into the snobbery of high end, just the experience. I listen here in my space for the best experience for what I seek.
I tried Tidal and kinda prefer the compression on Spotify, they're both obviously great 👌😅 lol I found an old casette player with some tapes ripped off the radio and that stuffs lo-fi... 😂

I always used Spotify premium and I tried tidal premium then tried Amazon prime music.. I've been using it ever since.. I like the convenience of Spotify, But I think Amazon edges out the sound on both.
According to Spotify wrapped I listened to 9500 songs, 3756 artists and 92000 minutes of music in2024 😮 I think I really need this streamer to justify listening to Spotify for so long 😁
Nah I’m waiting for someone like Eversolo to come up with a pure streamer ( no DAC or Preamp ) and can play Apple Music lossless for something like US1K - 1.5k. They already have the architecture and App , just need to refine it to another level.

To each his own in the journey into building there system. But There is no music on the face of the earth worth the prices of Nagra.
NAGRA products are great, wonderful devices, but I still think they are overpriced.
Absolutely nothing about this streamer is worth the 5k they want for it. Still a great review though.
