It’s plenty of great bands, but the g.o.a.t.s are those who you always come back to listen to. Lovebites is for me the best, but I can really appreciate a lot Hanabie, Nemophila, Band-Maid, Saiseiga, Unlucky Morpheus, Lonesome Blue, Babymetal…just to mention a few. 🐺🤘🏻
Miho left the band in August 2021. I'd suggest Break the Wall ua-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/v-deo.html&pp=ygUYbG92ZWJpdGVzIGJyZWFrIHRoZSB3YWxs for your next reaction to Lovebites.
Great reaction. This video was my introduction to this awesome band and it has been a hell of a ride since them. Can't wait to get their new dvd to be released in August so I can see Fami in action through a whole concert.

I discovered this band about 6 months ago after seeing the 15 minute solos highlight video 🤘 TGIS IS THE BEST METAL BAND EVER !!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘😎 Please check out Winds Of Transylvania, Hammer Of Wrath, and Frozen Serenade !!!!!!
Bro, its time for another TOP Japanese Rock/Metal Bands LOVEBITES new songs Judgement Day, Stand And Deliver(Shoot 'em Down) NEMOPHILA(all female) new songs Night Flight, Rise, Seize The Fate, Revive, Dissension, Raitei... BAND-MAID(all female) live songs Freedom, Domination, Real Existence, Thrill, No God, On Set, From Now On.... HANABIE(all female) songs We Love Sweets, NEET GAME, Pardon Me, Toushou(Runaway).. TRIDENT-JAPAN(all female) songs Voltage, No Regret.. ASTERISM(female guitarist) songs Dawn, Church, Rising Moon, Blaze... MAXIMUM THE HORMON(female drummer) songs Alien, Koi No Sperm...
excellent reaction , thank you , I think the best choice for the next one is The Awakening The Hammer Of Wrath ua-cam.com/video/otJZPUCwyOM/v-deo.html is the start of the encore of the 2020 show
Great reaction. If I may... Pick 6 songs with different styles from the 1st album, find the live version from 2019-2021 concerts. You can start with The Hammer of Wrath, Shadowmaker, Scream for Me, Burden of Time, Dont Bite the Dust, Edge of The World. Or, wolfpacks will guide you with the choices. You can visit the rest of the songs later... Then do the same with 2nd album, 3rd album, the EPs, the latest album, that way you also following the progress of their songwriting. But if you want to react to their best songs first.. It's up to you 🤞
By far the best band i have discovered through reaction videos. Especially since i already knew all the symphonic metal bands before the whole reaction stuff started, like Nightwish and Within Temptation since the early 1990s. Whatever, Lovebites are now at least in my top 5 and maybe even the band i have listened the most to over the last years. And compared to other japanes bands, noone comes even close. Others have maybe 3-5 songs i really like, but Lovebites songs are all great.
Yes, Miho on bass, she left in Aug of that year. They are so tight live and there is no better band for me, none. The hole is deep and it's diverse so prepared. I recommend Shadowmaker MV ua-cam.com/video/Brmoln5Gxus/v-deo.html. From 2017, a stunning MV and the live version is just as epic! Love these ladies...brutal metal and they can do it all! Great reaction! 🤘
Miyako also just released a solo album of her on Piano with Metallica Garbage, Yngwie Malmsteen Far and Beyond the Sun, Lovebites Addicted, Deep Purple Burn, Helloween Eagle Fly Free, and Gary Moore The Loner. Her album is called Etude Op.23
This band is so incredible. All their songs are my favorite. All of them! To me, this is the only such group in the world. Of course, you have to watch their performance with "Holy war" on their UA-cam channel. Thank you for the reaction! More Lovebites on the channel! ...And you can check out another Japanese all-female metal band called Nemophila with their music video "Dissension" (choose NOT U.S. version).
With LOVEBITES, your favourite song will be the last one you listened to. But my suggestion for your next reaction is "A Frozen Serenade", which is a masterpiece - one of the best metal songs ever written. ua-cam.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/v-deo.html&ab_channel=HarryVethkovMaffiosov
the only guitar duos I can think of in the sense of spirit is : Adrian Smith/ Dave Murray and Glenn Tipton and KK Downing for just being in tune with each other
Lovebites can hit you off guard, like a freight train at full speed, filled with music, creativity and surprises. 😂 I adore the faces of Haruna (drums) and Miyako (younger guitarist) while playing, going, "Thank you for your kind attention, but, you know, we do this all the time, and we like it, but it 's no big deal...," 😄but their art is a big, big deal.
Miyako described “Set The World On Fire” as Thrash Metal. The albums producer Steve Jacobs had them change the middle arrangement just before recording. From the album Electric Pentagram Lyrics: Asami Music: Miyako Arrangement: Miyako/Lovebites 🎸🔥🤘
yes add Holy War from the same concert 2021 tokyo dome it has lyrics on screen and Asami shows off her vocals in this song she holds the notes twice as long as she does in the 2020 Zepp DiverCity version.
I thought you'd like this one. The 2020 live performance of Holy War is a great one to do next. So are Rising, Shadowmaker and When Destinies Align. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
IMO Miyako & Midori are easily the best dual guitar leads going today, and I will argue big time that they are the best dual leads ever. I've been listening to metal for over 50 years, and for me personally Lovebites are the best metal band ever. "Judgement Day" is my all-time favorite song, by any band. Miyako is my favorite musician ever. Haruna is an absolute beast on drums. Asami is an amazing anti-metal lead singer in a metal band. Miho is great, and now Fami just adds a little more on bass.
For me the best songs is: When Destinies Align MV version (that guitarsolo!!) , Winds of Transylvania (Vladlove version) , Swan Song with Chopin intro, Frozen serenade. For the moment...
And you have barely scratched the surface as far as female Japanese musicians, or more specifically guitarists, are concerned,, but there is no need to rush. 😊
I enjoyed yr reaction....I have never understood the lyrics to any rock or metal type band on first listen, If I want to understand the lyrics I'll look em up later. besides I'm more interested in the feel of the music Yr right "Holy War" live is a popular starting spot for the Wolf Cubs out there...My favourite songs at the moment Are "Scream for Me" live and "Soldier stands Solitary" from the Judgement day album, which is a tour de force especially by Haruna on the drums. it is not quite live but has the musicians on camera making comments while the song is playing. Lovebites has no bad or filler tracks
Just pure power metal excellence. These girls are without a doubt some of the best in their field. I love hearing and seeing them. 🤘😎 Miyako is def my favorite for the same reason. Her seriousness, just standing there delivering sick solos like it's boring, is enchanting to me. Plus she's responsible for these songs. 😁 You should definitely react to Holy Wars.
"Is there a better guitar duo... ?" Hazuki and Saki of Nemophila are pretty damn good, too! A great band to check out: NEMOPHILA / Seize the Fate [Official Music Video]
I think, the last track from the new album would be something for you: "Soldier Stands Soletarily" (2023) with Fami, written by Miyako, up tempo and crazy riffs. The song you mentioned was singular "Holy War", also very good. Actually, there aren't any bad, and merely any mediocre songs!
Great Intro songs for the 2020 concert are Thunder Vengeance and The Awakening/Hammer of Wrath. Shadowmaker from the 2021 concert is more of a head banger and to se them all head bang together is awesome. Raise some Hell and We The United shows the fun side in the 2020 concert. M.D.O. is a great songs as well. From the new Album, Judgment Day and Stand and Deliver are the video releases, but to watch the band do reactions to all the songs from the new album, Judgement Day, are fun to watch. Even though there are no bad songs on the new album, Wicked Witch, Dissonance, and Finally (and probably one of their best) Soldier Stand Solidarity are great songs. Once they release the next round of live music videos, the songs from the new album will be great to see!!! Thanks on the reactions and can't wait for the next one!
The next best song, mh? Pick any of the suggestions, you will not be wrong. And as soon as you think you are ready to explore the next amazing (all female) Japanese rock or metal band, pick any (spoiler: you are not ready... but it doesn't matter).
You asked about other bands. Some of it comes down to what styles you like. I'd say there are five Japanese bands at the top of the heap, if you focus on musicianship. Lovebites, Band-Maid, Wagakki Band, Unlucky Morpheus, Nemophila. They are all insanely proficient on their instruments, but their styles are completely different from each other.
The Goddesses of Heavy Metal!! Great songs to check out next… Holy War, The Awakening/The Hammer of Wrath and Scream For Me (if you want to see some crazy back and forth solos by M&M) 🐺🤘🏻
The answer to the question at 4:15. No. The answer to the question at 9:30. No. The answer to “next best song”. Yes. And kudos for making a firm decision to please yourself rather than avoiding offending others. If you believe, as I do, that this band has no peers, why waste time checking out other music just because it’s a “journey”? You can do that later…but you’ll never be as impressed I can guarantee you. The song “Epilogue” was performed live in 2019 and is my personal favourite “performance” by Lovebites. I have one other song that I think is just so good technically and musically that I can’t help but say it’s my favourite. Soldier Stands Solitarily. You won’t find a live video because to my knowledge the only time it has been performed in front of an audience of any description was just the guitar part by Miyako at a recent guitar “seminar” for want of a better description of the event. ua-cam.com/video/JIAJYBuuKGM/v-deo.html (Epilogue) ua-cam.com/video/jeL6FHQ01V4/v-deo.html (Soldier Stands Solitarily) from the launch stream on Feb 21st)
Great reaction video dude. Lovebites is one of the RARE Metal bands that simply DON'T have a single bad song. EVERY song they've created is good. The drummer whose name you couldn't remember is Haruna (sometimes referred to as the 'Pocket Nuke'). Haruna has only 2 speeds on drums: Fast and FASTER. All of Lovebites' songs Haruna's style of playing seems a bit like Paul Bostaph and Dave Lombardo combined, but with her own unique style added into the mix. Now on their new album that just came out earlier this year (February if I'm not mistaken) Haruna's style of playing leaves Paul Bostaph out of the mix (NO disrespect intended for Paul Bostaph) and instead sounds like Dave Lombardo and Tim 'The Missile' Yeung combined, but again with Haruna's own unique style of playing added into the mix. Just check out their song Soldier Stands Solitarily from their new album. In my opinion Lovebites not only sets the bar as to what Heavy Metal should sound like, but Lovebites ARE the bar. Lovebites takes the influence of the Metal bands from the 80's to mid-90's such as Slayer, Anthrax, Megadeth, Overkill, Armored Saint, Nuclear Assault, Metal Church, Metallica, Flotsam and Jetsam, Bolt Thrower, and many others, and while giving homage and respect to their influences /predecessors add their own unique style of playing and carry the torch of Heavy Metal into the future. Just my own personal opinion anyway. But regardless, again great reaction video dude. Oh by the way, you just got a new subscriber.
It is impossible to find a bad Lovebites track, there are only more favorite and every more favorite tracks... fun tracks to review are "Raise Some Hell" (party time...), "Epilogue" (ballad), "Hammer Of Wrath" (hello, metal!), or any damn other track you care to pick! Good reaction... yeah, don't pause in solos :-)
The M&M guitar duo are insanely talented despite being polar opposites and yet still blend together perfectly. They harmonize like a Vulcan mind meld in action. The M&M also stands for Metal Monopoly because the talent in this band should be illegal according to many. What is also scary is this band is actually getting better with each LP, Album and LIVE performance. BTW nice reaction and you are now caught in the LB rabbit hole from which there is no escape, then again why would ever want to leave.
Hellooo.they are so good they have more than 60 songs and there is no bad one.Recomended songs "Awakening, the hammer of wrath""Break the wall""Raise some hell""Addicted""Epilogue""Scream for me ""Shadowmaker" I don't know dozens of songs and very good ones.
Does Miyako look a little rounder to you? Well you might cause she was 4-5 months pregnant and still melting your face with that guitar. The next closest guitar duo might be Saki and Hazuki of Nemophila. Just my 2 cents worth. Haruna is the drummer. Great reaction BTW!!! Next up try "Edge of the World".
React to Holy War live from the 2021 Ride for Vengeance tour. The 2020 live version is good but I prefer the 2021 performance. In the 2020 show Holy War was the 2nd song of the show but the 2021 performance it was the last song. For me the 2021 was more impressive because after a 2 hour +performance Asami's vocals are super powerful (it seems like her voice gets stronger the longer she sings) and the fact that the band as a whole is performing at such a high level after 2+ hours is amazing! Most bands I've seen live start dropping off after an hour or so... not LOVEBITES!!!
I would suggest either one of these 2 songs The Awakening/The Hammer of Wrath ua-cam.com/video/otJZPUCwyOM/v-deo.html Shadowmaker ua-cam.com/video/Vc1Txa33XEw/v-deo.html
There are good bands and some ok but not even close to Lovebites caliber, and at the same time there is a lot of crap as well, but it all come with the territory of music.
@@kyles5513 I'd dare to say for me, there isn't a better band in any genre which says a lot when you consider that Black Sabbath was my favorite band for almost fifty years.
There is no escape from the Lovebites rabbit hole 🐺 There's no better band for me. Effortless perfection
Exactly. They own the stage, take the audience by storm, and let it look easy. Outstanding.
There is no such thing as next best song with Lovebites. Every song they have ever written is their next best song!! 😎🤟
Well said that man!
Very true!
.......And Breath, it's over now. Bloody Lovebites 🐺 I love'em🤘
You shall NOT forget the drummers name! Haruna! Haruna! Haruna!
Winds of Transylvania live will blow you away not a easy song they make it look easy
🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺💪🤘🤘🤘🤘Great reaction and hard to say what to listen too when they all amazing....

Welcome back and thank you for doing this reaction to lovebites again, LOVEBITES ROCK
Midori and Miyako complement each other perfectly.
Miho left the band in August 2021. I'd suggest Break the Wall ua-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/v-deo.html&pp=ygUYbG92ZWJpdGVzIGJyZWFrIHRoZSB3YWxs for your next reaction to Lovebites.
Seen it in the 80 s.,.....now 2023.Hell yes Revamp.
Great reaction. This video was my introduction to this awesome band and it has been a hell of a ride since them. Can't wait to get their new dvd to be released in August so I can see Fami in action through a whole concert.

LOVEBITES - Set The World On Fire lyrics:
The blue moon colors the blaze
Stabbing myself with the thunder
The predetermined imitation
An emotionless and a fearless smile
Flowing blood and crimson blade
Devastated resolution
Heat haze is waving far away
Who’s going to be sacrificed?
ON FIRE
Just like a falling flower
ON FIRE
Until this body rots away
Burning down to the Gates of Hell
Distorted madness is sneering
Incompetent, cowardly fools
A pitiful and painful punishment
It’s you who will be sacrificed
ON FIRE
Dressed in an armor of steel
ON FIRE
If I’m burned again and again
I’ll rise up from the Gates of Hell
SOLO: midori / miyako / both
The blue moon colors blaze
Stabbing myself with the thunder
The predetermined imitation
An emotionless and fearless smile
SOLO: miyako
Flowing blood and crimson blade
Devastated resolution
Heat haze is waving far away
Who’s going to be sacrificed?
ON FIRE
Just like a falling flower
ON FIRE
Until this body rots away
Burning down to the Gates of Hell

Agree. I was going to suggest this one also!
One of my favourite metal songs 👍

Lovebites is probably the best metal band I've discovered in the last few years, extreme talent.
It took me about a year to tune my ears for Japanese-English frequency😄
Next Lovebites song Thunder Vengance live !
Yes, Miho on bass, she left in Aug of that year. They are so tight live and there is no better band for me, none. The hole is deep and it's diverse so prepared. In my opinion Lovebites not only sets the bar as to what Heavy Metal should sound like, but Lovebites ARE the bar.

And just subbed
also Break the Wall
I would suggest either one of these 2 songs

There are good bands and some ok but not even close to Lovebites caliber, and at the same time there is a lot of crap as well, but it all come with the territory of music.
Is there a better band out there? Well, not as far as I'm concerned.
Not a better metal band anyways
@@kyles5513 I'd dare to say for me, there isn't a better band in any genre which says a lot when you consider that Black Sabbath was my favorite band for almost fifty years.
