Every time I heard the reviewer say "xxx sent me this bag for review. However, everything I said is my own opinion", I can't help but think this review is biased. I mean, if you talk too "objectively", then next time companies won't send you products to review; after all, who wants to get their faces slapped for free, right? However, compared to the pros, the cons of a product are what drive consumers nuts.
Used this for my travel….and while it feels super sturdy and high quality, I can’t say the same about comfort. Might be the material is just super thick that it adds the extra weight or something, but my shoulder hurt after long use.
Just got this bag and i love it. I can fit my mini 3 pro + 3 batteries +DJI RC and my canon EOS RP with an 85mm and 50mm, plus extra room for cables, powerbank and batteries
I have the bellroy venture sling, and its great and all, but I realized that having a back zipper compartment is a must-feature for me, will definitely give this one a go, thank you for your review!
I am using that bag for a couple of months now. The rubbery material made the bag a bit heavy at the same time it is oil and dirt magnet..imho, I wished they could have used a lighter fabric/material or nylon. I What really annoys me is the flap cover of the outer pocket. I mean it really interrupts you when u a reaching that outer pocket. 9L would also be nice. 😊
Been using this bag for a couple months. good for mid-sized mirrorless systems and accessories, wish the bag opened wider so i dont have to be worried bout the zippers hitting the camera
From our place,if they see your bag have that pushable plastic buckel ,you can get your bag stolen while walking, they just push that buckel from behind when you are not looking then grab the bag and run
I thought this would be way too big for my mirrorless needs. I got the smaller chest bag and it fits my camera and my largest lens just.....it's a bit tight. I am not sure if I will keep it or return and get the bigger one. I am worried this one is too big for everyday carry.
thank you.. but: what I really don't like with the ulanzi bag - it is way to flimsy and weak, so I don't wanna put in my expensive photo gear... no effect against bumps etc. from the outside, e.g. when you are moving in a crowded place...and: the crappy plastic clips are not very robust... the main plus point for me would be the easy going design: never thought a bag could outclass the sleek Peak Design form...
How this bag fails: - Tries to copy PD and Bellroy in looks but fails in functionality - Heavy material unlike Bellroy so it isn't able to tighten up for a thinner profile. Isn't able to mold around the body like Bellroy - It isn't rigid like PD so there is no benefit of the heavier material - A huge miss is the strap doesn't have quick shortening/lengthening mechanism. Unable to quickly keep tight on the body and also rapidly lengthen for access to gear - Putting the key loop on in the pocket next to the body? You will feel a lump against you all the time
Lol, I can buy two of these for the price of a Peak Design 3L, which is so tiny and so devoid of useful inner/outer pockets that I sometimes wonder why they bothered.
It's a great bag and I've decided to keep it, but the two issues with this bag for me are: 1. The lack of a way to carry a tripod - perhaps some attachment points and straps on the bottom would work? (which could actually be handy to carry other things too, even if you aren't using it as a camera bag e.g. carry a jacket, yoga mat, umbrella, water bottle...) 2. The clips for the shoulder strap. What were they thinking? There is nothing practical about it. My solution is to simply wrap some paracord rope through the clip holes so the clips can't be undone (I'm never going to unclip so no issues with tying both clips up permanently).
great review Desy, i just got the peak design everyday sling v2 3l for my latest trip, but was considering the 6l and came across this option! keep up the great work!
would you be able to put in that a7rv in flat- like bottom of the camera to the bottom of the bag? My set up is an a7iv with a cage and top handle, and i'd buy this in a heartbeat if I could plop it in without removing the top handle, even if its a bit of a horizontal squeeze. My main lens is the tamron 28-75 so similar size to your 24-70 and I'm not fussed about carrying another lens or a water bottle.
Oh man I wish I like that bag more. I had trouble with the way it opened at the top just from one side. Never felt wide and open enough. And the material got so dirty looking so fast it just attracted oils and smudges.
I know that most manufacturers today just copy each other. It's simply sad. I really have a problem with this, I just won't buy this bag because it looks like Peak Design. I know it's funny from the perspective of many people. it's worth noting that while imitation is often seen as a form of flattery, it can also stifle innovation and creativity. When companies focus on copying successful designs, they may miss out on the opportunity to create something truly unique and groundbreaking. This can lead to a market saturated with similar products, reducing consumer choice and potentially hindering progress in design and technology.
@@DesmondCheng could you access tablet space without taking camera out first? It is fit tight in PD 6L so I always have to take out camera before take anything from tablet space
When I got mine, I thought that I got a defected bag with the two zippers in reverse because they open the bag from both sides (right and left). After watching this video, I realised that they are designed this way for a purpose. 😅😅😅

Copycat from peak design, I got the peak design, you get what you pay for.
yup!
Peak design is overpriced and has no space whatsoever.
@@HollowGTX yeah its pretty stiff and tight!
Your to blame for what you pay for also
The clip is what lost me, it would make it so easy to unclip for theft.

same here. I have the 6L and the 10L camera sling and is miss having the back pocket and top handle.
@@rubelukeable Is the venture sling attachment cable durable enough to support a fully loaded 10L sling?
Had the bag for months and its a really useful bag. Minimal, waterproof, and the just right size for small/medium setups.

yes its not as padded, but honestly, ive never had a problem putting my camera in flimsier bags!
Thanks for the review. Was that background music from Vietnam's football team?
lol no idea!
Yes this bag is good
yup
hi can it fit a sony a6400 with a tamron 28-200mm f2.8-5.6? thanks
absolutely
i dont have that camera or lens, but yes it should fit!
Regardless of the price, what do you think, honest think, if head to head with the Peak Design 6L, which one will U choose?
i would choose the ulanzi head to head. The peak design is too stiff and rigid!
Very neat sling bag! Great review Desy!
great but too bulky
yeah its a lil on the larger side!

that;s fair for the price difference - 39$ vs 175$

Bellroy 9l all day long. Just too small for a day / small trip sling. And too many compromises.
im all about the wandrd rogue right now =)
Could you fit your camera mounted with the 24-70 plus your 85mm in the bag?
unfortunately not! the a74 with 24-70mm sigma is a bit too tall!
now the price is 39$
1:35 Why do we need a keyclip inside our cambag anyway?
i personally dont need it, but i know a lot of people dont like keeping keys in their pockets. so they want to secure it in their bag!
Does it have a way to external carry a tripod?
No

Yes, there's a lot of space

Could it be used on the waist?
no, not really, strap is too large!

35-150 fits mounted on a7iv and still extra room

Would the front pocket or rear pocket or tablet space fit envelope with size 23x11 cm? Peak design 6L couldnt fit this in its tablet space
Hi Stefanus, I just tried it with a standard sized envelope, which is 24cm x 11cm and yes it fits in the tablet section!

Yes it does fit. I have a Steam Deck (original model) and this bag and can confirm the Deck fits.
