Will the chemeric adapter make a difference on my og Xbox when I’m playing emulators ? With Nintendo and sega emulator games look better on my new tv using the chimeric adapter or not?
That is a great question. I don’t have a clear answer but I would assume it depends on the emulation software you are using.

That’s a great question which I sadly don’t have an answer for as I am in the North American region.
I have the same problem here. Pal console bought a hdmi video converter but still nothing man.

You have to softmod a pal xbox too get 1080i ..

This Chimeric adapter does not work on all tvs. Got mine recently and the results are constant signal drops. BE WARNED.

Hi dude so i bought an og xbox its weird i bought an old tv with Hdmi and components. Using either option components (blue and green cables) i get the option to switch between 480 or 720 and 1080i but when i click accept it doesn't change the resolution? Same with hdmi option converter i got it allows me the options yet when i click on it for 720 and 480 it does absolutely nothing. But when i do the hold both triggers and bumpers and it switches to 480p only? Any suggestions i a different tv same thing the component cables aren't bad. The converter is also new and not bad what do i do? Whats up with my xbox lol
When you say old TV what exactly do you mean? Old CRT televisions only do 480 unless it’s something like a Sony Trinitron that supported higher resolutions.
@CreateConsumeRepeat Haha Well yes I know that, but no it is an older HDTV hence I said I also connected it to the available HDMI port as well. It's capable of a 1080 display. Yet the Xbox does not want to switch resolution on hdmi converter or with the correct component cables

My TV says, 'Not Optimum Mode Recommended Mode 1920x1080 60Hz' Do you know how i can fix it? I can see my Xbox through the Elgato on my PC.

I think it has to do with the actual port on the OG Xbox.

I use a 32” Samsung LED and 55” LG OLED.

The adaptor in the video allows you to hookup the original XBOX to any HDMI TV/monitor. Of course the resolution will depend on the game since most Xbox games are 480p.

I don’t know any since I own the OG PS3 with PS2 hardware built in.
x-men legends is hands down the best comic book game ive ever plaied its better than ANY of the current ones even the Nintendo switch Ultimate Alliance 3 (the 6th game) funny its same resolution & its been 20 years GET WITH IT NINTENDO

If you don’t have experience I would avoid it. If you’re hand and desperate; watch a few UA-cam tutorial videos, practice and give it a shot.
