There is literally endless devices available to get retro devices working no matter what connection your TV may or may not have. Your advice to this person is simply awful so please don’t try to justify your original reply to this person (and to me) with a ‘quality loss’ excuse. To the OP... the fact remains, he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. It depends on how much you feel is worth it (price wise) to play your old devices. Adaptors/converters are available easily from 20 bucks, but all in one devices can cost literally hundreds. Also, don’t be fooled by brands. Not all 4K smart TV's have these component and composite connections with the adapter wires that come with the TV. Some 4K smart TV's simply don't have those input holes on the TV at all and you can't hook up composite or component at all, which is ridiculous. Malcolm Mathias I didn’t mean to offend I’m more of a “rip off the band aid” kind of person when it comes to situations like yours. I wasn’t aware of how limited the capabilities of your tv were until you made them clearer so my answers had to be vague. I also can’t understand why you would purchase an Xbox that has no hdmi (they make plenty that do) if your tv only has hdmi inputs. If it’s old, that meant you had it a long time (they stopped making component compatible Xbox’s around 2011) and knowing your Xbox’s limitations you obtained a new tv with no connections for your existing equipment. Regardless there is a fix, the Xbox One as it is can handle most 360 games and has HDMI out. If you prefer to wait, the series X should offer better compatibly at 4K.

could be 1st or 3rd, thx anyways
Please help, i have the same connection type on my samsung nu7100 and my wii screen show faded color, blue turn green and red is more like pink.
You did something very wrong
I have the same tv, same connection same adaptor, but it is a wii
Bro tysm you helped me out man,

Question can u get av in 1 component on Walmart or any other place
I can’t understand what you’re asking
Maniac536 is cause my tv doesn’t have the component cable u have is Samsung but it has a different cable design the connects with component
Is call av in 1 component in that’s what says on the back of my tv
Mr. Meme still not enough information to begin to help you. Need the TV’s model number
Maniac536 is call green component/ composer cable I think
Thank you I’ve been struggling with this ❤️
Where did you buy those cables?
GameStop in 2012
Where can I find the dual put put wire? I found the tri colored input but not the output? Any suggestions
I can’t understand what you’re asking
Maniac536 I found the three colored wire on amazon but not the other is what I meant to say
Paulino N. Y are u searching amazon? They don’t have what you want. Go to your tv’s support site, out your tv’s model number in and order the right parts from there
Maniac536 gotcha thanks for the feedback
How would I connect a Wii to a regular Samsung Smart TV. When I put the RCA cables in nothing happens and I've done everything right in assuming
If nothing happens i can assure you you’ve done something wrong. However it’s impossible to help you without further information you havent provided. What kind of wii cable are you using, where did you get it from, what model tv are you using, etc
Btw I have the exact same (or really similar) tv, you know if it can pair with Bluetooth headphones by any chance? Ours is the NU7100
Samsung TVs typically do not have Bluetooth. If you want wireless audio you’ll need to buy one of their WiFi speaker setups.
how to connect my wii to a samsung 2019 smart tv? i didn’t get these adapters with the tv :/
Plz make a video of how to play Wii dolphin emulator on mi TV plx
When I try using my adapter for my PlayStation i only get audio and no video and the video cable just makes a static noise
Then you’re using the wrong adapter
i have been scrolling the comments for 10 mins, still havent found one that isn't hearted
Where can i find the component cable? That comes with the blue one as well
At your local used game shop
If anyone can help me im having an issue with getting sound from my tv. Hooking up my ps2 I hooked up both the composite and component cables. On av input for my tv the color is correct and composite is black and white while both have no sound.
You can’t hook up both the composite and component at the same time
@@Maniac536 so should I turn it off and take all the cables out and only setup the yellow/white/red ones? I have a samsung tv
@@raymonelewis3025 you need to unplug the component adapter my guess is that component cable you’re using for the PS2 is bunk
@@Maniac536 possibly. Just curious do you think an rca to hdmi adapter will help? As I said I have video but no sound so maybe this would help?
I've tried the ps2 to hdmi adapter in the past and I got the mode not supported feature on my TV so then I tried this method and finally was able to actually see the video however the sound problem is the wall im up against now
@@raymonelewis3025 no
I have an older ps2 with serial number AS0440259, its the fat one not the slim and I have a smart tv. What hd converter can I use?
You don’t. The PS3’s gold plated component cable should work fine. Just stick it in the PS2’s AV out port
Ken Coffil just make sure you buy the right region’s cable and don’t waste a dime buying non-Sony made cables
Ok thank you
How do i connect my Wii to my Roku TV? I had it hooked up before WITHOUT an adapter for the red, yellow and white cables. But now i can’t figure out how to connect it.
Is something else connected to it like a old DVD player? The Roku TV only has one set of red/white/yellow inputs
@@Maniac536 My Roku doesn’t have the slots for the red/yellow/white, just 3 slots for HDMI and the AV, i tried plugging in each of the colors into the AV but that didn’t work. I swear i had it hooked up a couple months ago and it was working just fine
@@Maniac536 Only my PS4 and my Xbox 360 are connected via HDMI, nothing else is connected
@@inxziety if you’re plugging into the av and it’s not working your Wii is broken. If you can’t find your av That’s a call you need to make to Roku
Does this work with the Samsung q60r?? I wanna play ps2 nfl 2k5?
I’m afraid you’ll have to buy me one for me to find out lol
my samsung has a combined 2 x trs connection but it works fine.
Ok question my wii has a red a white and a yellow where can I put the yellow
Green socket. Don’t attach the red and blue connector
Can anyone help please, I have the connections the red, white n yellow cables and the correct outlets. But my ps2 still isn't connecting..no picture coming through..it works on my smaller tv..( not smart) using the same method.
Red to red. White to white. Yellow to green. Do not connect the second adapter
@@Maniac536 I only have one adapter 8.5 v
@@carlhole-maloney3249 where’d the adapter come from

I have a Toshiba 4K Fire Tv and I want to connect my n64. Any idea if this would work?

How do I connect my GameCube!
Really useful information. Thank you.
Tryna connect my Wii to the same exact tv. My tv did not come with adapters
Return your tv
What’s the exact name of those pieces that I need. Gonna try and order from amazon
I Don’t recommend that. Most third party stuff people bought on amazon never works. Im sure you can just get it from your TV maker’s parts and service website. Just plug the tv’s model number into the site.
It’s Samsung
Dude i have an old xbox 360 and my hd tv only has 2 slots of red yellow and white input theres no green blue or any other colour help what to do how can i connect it than
If you don’t have red blue and green connections you don’t have an hdtv lol (you have an SDTV)
@@Maniac536 no i mean its an led tv it has a 2 hdmi dedicated slot and the basic red yellow white av slot am trying to connect an old xbox 360 the cable has 6pins on it
Malcolm Mathias you have two options. Get a new tv or get a new Xbox
@@Maniac536 i dont knw whether its a sarcasm or a real suggestion anyways i guess i should better stick with my gaming pc only.
This was useful thanks
ugh i don't have those adapters
You saved me man!
Great video, great info. Thanks a ton 👍🏼
Hi maniac, its because my screen for the console goes grey, im not finding the issue for my console to go that color, can you help please?
Giancarlo Iannuccilli did you fix it?
thank you so much, I did it

Nepthu yep. That tv doesn’t support any analog video. Says so right on it’s website. Return it and get something else
