Putting snaps on my Phantom looks like a bad idea. Saddle hunting to me is minimalist anyway. You rug up against trees. Pretty sure one would come loose. The whole purpose of molle is things can be removed but nothing is EVER going to come off unless you on purpose take it off.
Might be fine for other things. I'll pass. Putting snaps to bypass the security of molle looks like a disaster to me. To each his own.

That was my very first thought also. $25 for two fasteners. I think that Tethrd has some very motivated designers that just want to come up with ideas without broad R&D. Maybe if they cut back on trying to reinvent the wheel, they could utilize their resources more efficiently and not have to charge $3000 for a saddle hunting set up.
I love their practical equipment. I'm just critical of their idea roll outs because I want them to have a healthy and strong company. But time is the best teacher
