Chez. I’m impressed with your philosophy about fighting and training. I love it! I’m by no means a professional fighter but love boxing workouts. You’re a good virtual coach. Keep it brotha!
What I really like the most about all the videos you do is the focus on more discipline, repetition, and consistency of all the exercises. It's broke down in a way that is easy to wrap your head around and motivating at the same time. Keep it rolling!
brother, every video of yours is a blessing, you are always to the point, you are sincere and you always care about us. I would love the video of your abs routine. I'll look forward to it.
Great video! I'm going to have to try this out. One of the biggest things that has helped me build muscle has been a custom meal plan from Next Level Diet. I use it every week and I love it
Chez you’re pretty motivating bro, I want to tell you your work is impressive and can help motivate thousands of people to tap into their inner beast. I’ll keep watching for your work ✊🏼
There is another Hawaii base fitness UA-camr. He's older but you two are both so fit, and do these great dynamic workouts. Would love to see some collaboration with you 2
Can you please make a video about achieving savage cardio for sparring? I get tired quickly and i really want to improve that. I'm intrested in your opinion. Thanks :)
Hey Chez, there is a theory among trainers that weighted shadowboxing can condition one's mind to throw hands slower when the weights are off. The mind / body is training how much energy and how many milliseconds it thinks it will take to reach limb extension, thus leading to less than peak performance. What are your thoughts on this? This is the same reason coaches advise against golfers using weighted club heads as it is proven to train your brain to swing slower during actual game play.
I think this is easily overcome by simply using weighted shadow boxing along with regular shadow boxing. If you have ever done rounds with the egg weights and then a few rounds without, that first round without you feel lighting fast.
@@jordanduran1726 It's been shown that it's the intent to be explosive or move faster is the training key. See what Louie Simmons research says about this and his entire clubs results vs the detractors.
@@gharm9129 yes but being explosive isn't the only attribute needed in boxing. If you decide to focus solely on that other aspects of your training would suffer. Sounds like you have your own opinion already I was just throwing my 2 cents in.
@@jordanduran1726 I was merely pointing out about how to develop speed strength and strength speed and the rest you read into/ filled in yourself. It's also not an opinion but experience and proper training from a proper coach.
@@gharm9129 I respect Louie Simmons and actually watched him. I do some powerlifting to develop strength along with boxing training. I mean I just I don't see how a few rounds of weighted shadow boxing are gonna harm you. You can find plenty of workouts of world champions using weights when shadow boxing. Most training bag gloves weigh 16oz anyway. Boxing and powerlifting are different sports.
So right now, my routine is trying to do 200 Diamond push-ups, 60 ring dips, 60 pull ups, 200 squats, 200 calf raises, and 100 hanging leg raises. I separate this by a push day and pull day. My goal is getting this rep count to the lease amount of sets possible. For example, push-ups I’m at 16 X 12 and would like to aim for 8 X 25, then possibly less sets. Can I still build muscle with this routine? Thoughts or Advice?
yes!!! progression leads to adaption. adaption for the body means muscle growth!!! just try not to confuse my words. muscle growth sometimes doesn't mean size but more so based on shape and striations. just be sure to also progress on the diet as well!!! slowly ramp up your food intake to ensure proper recovery
@@CHEZCANTERE sir Will u please make a routine with proper set and rep details for HYPERTROPHY with only Pushups and Chin up and pull ups and squats Thanks sir
I too brother I have also divided the routine by days push day pull day And 3rd us weight I do pushups 25x5 30 sec rest between sets Then Crunches and Hanging leg raise for abs And Hindu Dand also Then next day i do Pulls and chinups and squats And 3rd day i Do weights With barbell simple curls, shoulder Then 1 day rest then again start
I can say That u may keep sets fix ie 5 i kept 5 sets and by each week i increase reps by 1 like 26x5 Keep sets and rest time constant just keep increasing Reps each week
i use a pair of Onitsuka tiger mexico 66, some times i use Nike Pegasus for more cushion, adidas samba classics are nice too. that's just my own personal opinion
Great video.. Muscles for martial arts is not the same as the muscles for bodybuilding.. Martial arts muscles is more functional while the bodybuilding muscles is for shows

Much respect brother. However. I have been boxing and lifting for 3 years now. While I believe boxing with weights can improve endurance and stamina, I do not believe it's ideal for growing muscle mass. Lifting heavy weights is.
