Coverdale is a legend
🤘🏼🔥
One of the best singers in that category all times ❤️
Absolutely awesome!!!
// Prof musician fr Sweden
🙏
Fuck yes.
He’s so damn sexy makes his songs even better
Does anyone else crave the feeling of hearing great music for the first time when you were young?!
Just learned of the passing of the amazing guitar player Bernie Marsden. One of my all time favourite Whitesnake songs wouldn't be possible without his riffs/solos. Love and condolences from 🇧🇷! 🤘💔
I agree from Finland❤
Totally agree, I saw Bernie in a small venue in Bristol in the early 90s , what a night that wa s and what guitarist.
God bless his soul and lay him down in peace ☮️
He was pretty much the eow of the guitar sound in the early (premium) 'Snake.
This is REAL music, not like the music of today. This is outstanding!! 💕
Yes, Yes, Yes!!!!!!!! You are right!!!
The shit of today...
@Keri M One of the best rock songs of all time. Todays young people dont know about it.
This is fantastic
Saw Whitesnake at Donnington Wembly in the 1980's and still listening to Whitesnake in my 50's.
Unglaubliches Album Jon Lords keyboard, Ian Paice Schlagzeug, Marsden und Moody und David Coverdale geiles Lineup
Coverdale VOICE OF GOD!!!
Bernie Marsden, legend. He had time and a tune for everyone. RIP.
Classic Whitesnake. RIP Bernie Marsden - Whitesnake legend.
Bernie, Bernie..you are not forgotten
That solo by Bernie Marsden must be one of the greatest solos of all time!
Bernie's solo is awesome and soulful. He will surely be missed. He and Jon Lord must be rocking in Heaven now.
The Classic Lineup of White snake.
David Coverdale, the King of Hearts 💖 Great songs, good times, led by an unmatched voice!
The early 80s whitesnake with Coverdale that’s not “hair metal” overly produced is top tier
Feel sad for us fans of the original whitesnake, this was it the best whitesnake, why sange the recepy for good music...
RIP Bernie. Thanx for your beautiful music 🕊️
This song, for me, is the best song Whitesnake ever made, the real Whitesnake...the pulsating rhythms of the drums and bass, the sweeping organ waves, the delicious guitars, DC's stellar vocals...just a perfect song for all eternity. The song builds up and stronger...and when the guitar solo begins, it fucking kills my heart, it's so damn sweet...
I agree with every single word, could not have put it any better!
paice, lord, what else you can want?
KE mafia Bernie Marsden in my opinion was also a major player in this and also some other Whitesnake songs.
Yeah but I prefer Judas Priest "Breaking The Law"
Truer words have never been spoken! You've nailed it brother!
Had to listen to this today RIP Bernie Marsden. What an underrated legend!!
Oh Man David is just killing it on this!! He had all the tools in his prime. He could sing the blues, amazing power, plenty of soul and let's not forget those awesome high notes.
I agree with everything you say about his excellent lead singer skills and boy did he get the pretty women.( but he always fell out with them lol) 😎☮️👍🎸🏴🇺🇲🤩🏴😁🇦🇺
David has power pipes…and holy smokes his tone is better than his power. The man is a 9.9. I like girls, but I’m in love with that voice
Аз също! Разпознавам гласа му от хиляди километри. Толкова безсънни нощи с гръб към стената пракарахме с теб приятелю,, свирача който толкова години ме води
One of my all-time favourite guitar solos 🎸 RIP Bernie what a legend.
R.I.P. Bernie Marsden
Whitesnake at their original best, raw, melodic, bluesy rock, this my favourite song by them, strong and powerful!🤘🤘
🤟🤟🤟🌹✌️✌️✌️
@steveburbage1230 You took words out of my mind. Coverdale and his band at its very best.
This is the best version of Whitesnake; bluesy hard rock without the later cheesy hair metal pretensions.
RIP Bernie absolutely love that solo on this track
Thank you, David.
Ian Paice-One of the finest drummers of this era...
The 2010s?
Vtuv
Reading Bernie's autobiography. Great writer - as well as musician and gentleman. Bought all their LPs as a kid in the early 80s after a mate got me into them. RIP Bowler.
Can’t stop listening to this!
R.I.P Bernie marsden, had the pleasure of working with him a few times and always a perfect gent
Jon Lord( Rip) Ian Paice rhythm section is just the groove and core for the song…. Oh Bernie what a solo( RIP)
Rest in peace Bernie Marsden.legend
From the best WS album Come an' get it. Superb album from start to finish. Their best.
This Song is perfect. Masterpiece. Lyrics, Harmony, etc..
2021 anyone here? or have all real rock lovers died of old age. This is f... great song, Coverdale at his very best as frontman.
This IS, white these guys. 👍
Whitesnake. Excellent Band.
Rest in peace Bernie Marsden the guitar wizard
Friend of mine was the one who organized Whitesnake concert first time ever in my native Saint Petersburg, Russia. Festival name was White Nights!! And after we partying hard on yacht across Finish bay!! David was true gentlemen and Snakes!! Such a great Memories!! Cheers
❤❤❤
Rest easy Bernie Marsden. Great Guitarist.
Those were the days, how I loved the 80's. This was an epic line up and Coverdale at the top of his game!
Makes 1981 seem like yesteryear
RIP Bernie Marsden 💔🎸😢
The original Whitesnake lineup is the best version.
The best line up
Rest in peace, Bernie.
One of the best Whitesnake songs ever
Descanse en Paz 🙏🏻 querido maestro Bernie Marsden 😢😢😢
Memorable solo from Bernie may he RIP.
whitesnake era 80 - 83 the best!!
RIP Bernie. With Mood, the only guitarists for Whitesnake.
О да. Редко кто вспоминает Мики Муди как гитарную пару с Берни делавшую погоду в Снэйк Кавердэйлла.
Best Whitesnake line up ever IMHO
RIP Bernie. Guitar legend
RIP Bernie Marsden! Legend!
What passion he sings!!!!!!!!!!!
Best British rock band 🎸
Magnífic might Band Whitesnake always
best in the world my friend
The pulsating rhythms of the bass & drums on this song are just unbeatable. There's not much in terms of how many hits there are per minute, but the exciting and life-affirming patterns themselves, the strong touch and the beating sounds...driven hard with the guitar riffs...just masterful! Coverdale's singing at its best ever, plus the heart shattering solo...
This is the greatest Whitesnake song of all time. This song strikes me so deep that I can't even write it down here...
This SONG!!! One of the best off of one my all time favorite albums!! Just stellar!
The greatest vocalist we have in the UK. Elvis Presley would agree. I have absolutely no doubt of this. From 1974 to his more than well earned retirement in 2022.
I'd probably agree, out of all big rock singers Coverdale has a certain timber in his voice that just makes it special. Mr Chris Rea has a nice one too though ; )
RIP Bernie Marsden
Good memories on White Snake (1988) bring it back
I was 15 when I first heard this song and was crazy about it; Paice beat, Moody's & Marsden guitars, Coverdale's power vocal, Murray & Lord in the background. I am 55 now and I feel young listening to it again 😂. I have listened to this at least 6 times this past 1 week. Great music don't die.
i,m 58 and i feel the same!
I was 6 or 7 when my sister bought it. 47 now
I don't really think you could ever put John Lord "in the background". The maestro of Purple, the Wizard of Hammond, and a mentor and a mate to Coverdale. Just listen to 'Child in Time', and you'll hear what I mean.
White Snake Love hunter got me addicted to White Snake. Come and get it solidified that addiction. Apparently Coverdale hatted them doing this kind of music.
ditto
Whitesnake during their original lineup or rather their days during their "band" days b4 the slide it in era was still the best.
Bernie knocked it out of the park with that one. Classic guitar solo 🔥🔥🔥
I may sound like an old fart, but this is real music. I miss that.
A thumbsup to ya, from another old fart, lol.
It is not about age, it is about willingness to search for real music today :-)
Ok. I'm another old fart. Is fantastic to be an old fart! Long Live Whitesnake! 👍
r/lewronggeneration is the place for people like you who can't even have the effort to search for good music from the 2010s (there's a lot)
Yeah, you can't find good music like this now. All you get is that hip-hop rap crap now. Nothing like the 80's music. Not even close.
R.I.P Bernie Marsden
Let there be rock!
"I've been running on empty far too long."
This song is so amazing David Coverdale has such an impressive singing voice 🔥 💯 🎵 👌 🙌
And stage presence
Same line-up wrote and recorded "Here I go again" too.
This is the one and only Whitesnake. I miss them so much.
Brilliant Bernie Marsden solo in this one Rip
RIP John and Bernie
❤
Never get Tired of listening to The Snake, saw them live a couple of times in the late 70s and early 80s and they were just fantastic 👍🎸
Nice, since I was born in the 80s I missed them then, but saw them in 04. It was great.
@@MrSvante88 💯% My friend. Seeing The Late Great Bernie Marsden doing his stuff is awesome. I have just stumbled on this Video again and it`s still as good 👍👍
What was seeing Jon Lord on Organ like live?
singers like Coverdale are one in a million,,,one in a zillion,,,,one in a trillion!
one in his family
Sonsuz teşekkürler Bernie 🙏 R.i.p
He tells a story with the guitar... 🤩
Here to feel the Bern. RIP ❤️
D.E.P./R.I.P. Bernard "Bernie" Marsden

Люди. Божьи. Раз. В. Сто. Лет
I loved David in the 80's. Beautiful voice, gorgeous hair, and such a romantic personality!
The beauty of this song is you can tell how brilliant Paice and Lord are just through their simplicity. That is tough. Superb
God I loved Whitesnake, one of my favourite bands 💕
To me one of their best songs ever!
The best song Whitesnake ever recorded!
Tom Baranyai
Could've done with a killer solo on it though, what Moody plays is quite lame, especially by eighties standards.
Awesome song..Love it
Sure is
@@dianeharrison4975 didn't David re-record this song for the 87 album?
With still of the night
This is THE Whitesnake the fucking best ever
R.I.P. guitat player Bernie Marsden (08/24/2023) age 72.
More than a half of Deep Purple is there!.
Great song and a great band, now and then.
wow what a voice!
David Coverdale certainly could belt it out, great voice for rock.
The voice so strong..
Coverdales voice is magnificent!
I got into Whitesnake in...surprise, surprise...1987. I love that album to this day and it is still one of my favourite Hard Rock albums. That being said, I adore pre 87 Whitesnake just as much. They have such an amazing back catalogue of great records, all demonstrating how exceptional the band is at producing Blues based Hard Rock. Long live the Serpens Albus 🤟🏾
One of my favorites .. best tune ..and the lyrics are great too..Real rock music..I miss this now bad
OMG Coverdale was so beautiful, so hot. And this deep voice. What a man !
Heaven Sent many songs about Loving !
A wonderful, melodical line to conclude the solo with 2:50 That's making music in stead of just pointless showing off.
R.I.P Bernie Marsden..
"Девид"!!!! Это просто КЛАСССССС.
Хард рок в сочетании с блюзом, это вверх совершенства.
Просто. Космос
One of the great Whitesnake songs of the early era. Despite not discovering WS until 1987 like the rest of America, I dearly love the previous incarnations. I was 13 when they broke with "Still of the Night" and all that, and to say Coverdale and co. struck a nerve would be an understatement. Thankfully my local record shop carried all the older releases. This song, and so many others, made me understand WS was so much more than those few mtv videos. Come n Get it, Live In the Heart of the City, all of it, so good...RocknRoll Rhythm n Blues....F yea;
I'm gonna take it to the limit of my love,
Before I turn and walk away
I've had enough of holding on
The promises of yesterday
Every day of my life, it seems,
Trouble's knocking at my door,
It's hard to try and satisfy
When you don't know what you're fighting for
Time and again I sing your song,
But, I've been runnin' on empty far too long
I've had enough holdin' on to the past,
Make no mistake, it could be your last
Don't break my heart again, like you did before
Don't break my heart again, I couldn't take anymore
I never hide the feeling inside,
And though I'm standing my back to the wall,
I know that even in a summer love
A little bit of rain must fall
But, every road I take I know
Where it's gonna lead me to,
Because I've traveled every highway
And they all keep coming back to you
Time and again I sing your song,
But, I've been runnin' on empty far too long
I've had enough holdin' on to the past,
Make no mistake, it could be your last
Don't break my heart again, like you did before
Don't break my heart again, I couldn't take anymore
Don't break my heart
Don't break my heart again, like you did before
Don't break my heart again, I couldn't take anymore
Dem THANK YOU! 😘
Laura; Brutal tune. An all time favorite. Beats Zeppelin all day long!!!
