For me my 'good time' to exercise came from within when I started eating right, felt light and got back on my yoga mat after so long... I lift weights 3 times a week now.. and yoga for increasing flexibility, stamina and reduced stress ! Love you for showing me the right path to stay healthy and fit instead of weighing less on the scale

i can really lift weights ,but got a trainer and he saved my.life as he got me to do less weight more reps as i can bulk up very easy and have big thighs ,so to.lean out i had to lessen the weights and i thought it will not help ,but it did

Whether it will cause further damage to my knees and spinal cord. Please guide in your next programme. I have started taking ghee with meals. Since I am not working now, I don't sit at a stretch.

Juhi Nilesh. There r some strength training exercise which such a person can do. Wts more imp is that u have d posture right. U will come across lots of videos on youtube that u can see n start ur regime. Start with less reps n without weights then as u will gain strength start increasing weights n reps. Good luck
start from Patanjali yoga{its not baba ramdev yoga, buy a book for it} then do Iyengar style yoga from a book or authentic teacher. don't do random yoga. in the book, there is step by step weekly prog.
I am doing some exercises for disc and sciatica pain as directed by my doctor.. but I badly need a weightloss of 10-15 kg. but as rijuta ji said to have soaked almonds or bananas within 10-15 min u wake up... I am confused bcoz I have to take my thyroid and other meds on an empty stomach. really confused😕
@@jaiwardhannarware6972 dont be confused or worried. Take meds and eat food after 30 mins of taking it. Dont rush for weightloss. You will get there. Just avoid forward bending exercises till the disc pain is there. Walking and cycling is best for you. Go for yoga. Invest in good shoes & mattress. Sleep on a good mattress. You can buy rujuta's books they are very informative

I fell off the bandwagon after gaining 2-3 inches and not being able to afford a trainer/gym for your 6th guideline. They are expensive in Canada and due to time crunch - family/work priorities, it cannot happen so quickly

priti shah yes priti, you should start straight training .the sooner the better for u.since u r doing yoga regularly I am sure u must be flexible and familiar with exercise.which is win win situation for u.if you are planning to exercise at home buy pair of dumbbell ,I think 2/3 kg is good start.
but you suggested 2 days/ week for weight loss n 3 days a week for muscle gain in your book don't lose out work out. there is no plan for more than 3 days :/

I do cardio some Isolated exercise along with high intensity training and then strength exercise

Dont rush for weightloss. You will get there.

try strength training once a week with minimal load..don't do more then 20-30 min
