I've been training with weights about 2-3 days a week for over a year now and the following things have happened: 1) I lost 12-13 kgs of fat and increased my muscle mass 2) Periods had gone haywire but became regular after I started strength training 3) I was pre-diabetic and on medication, now I'm in the normal range for sugar levels and off medication! 4) Blood pressure was a little high before, and now it's normal every time I check it! 5) I haven't put on any of the weight I've lost 6) I can run faster, have more energy through the day and can get more work done than before. All thanks to Rujuta Diwekar and her books. But I would like to say that along with strength training you NEED to have a good pre and post workout meal. Invest in a good protein shake from a trusted brand. I promise you it'll be worth the money and completely safe.

There are many videos on YT for this. Generally even in a gym it's important to get the basic "form" and "range of motion" right before picking up the equipment so one may start with low weights. What's important here is the person's basic fitness level and overall weight. For an overweight person, it is not advisable to do just bodyweight exercises or intense bodyweight exercises for example.
Your book is amazing I was following LCMF but after reading your book I got to know what is right diet coz after following LCMF I am looking old then my original age 😢😢but now I know mei sab kuch kha rahi hu or weight be Kim ho raha hei thank you mam for doing such a grt work

I used to hate gyms too, but Rujuta's second book "Don't lose out, workout" changed my mind completely. I gym 5 times a week now, at home, with basic equipment that I invested in. It has done wonders for my life.
@@blessed9491 Ofcourse I have. I played 2 sports for my college teams and my coach always pushed me to go to the gym but I hated it. And yes strength training means using weights. One must absolutely go to the gym and learn the exercises and forms correctly. Then you can get the hasic equipment at home and do the workouts at home too. It also depends on what your goal and target is. For an advanced set of goals, I can join the gym for 3-6 months to access the equipment there and then continue with maintenance workout at home again too.

In your book don’t loose out work out, you have recommended 3 days a week strength training for advanced category with push pull leg split. Do you recommend 4 days a week training now? What should be the split then? You also recommended to have 48 hours gap in two strength training sessions. That won’t be possible if one does 4 days a week. Please do clarify on these points.
