Nothing of value was lost, frankly. They are both alcoholic losers that never did any good for anybody in their whole lives. The only lack of justice here is the fact that she is equally a loser and got to live.

All the true crime I watch, THIS was the one - I couldn't watch a lot of the coverage. Because I haven't been in that situation but I've been adjacent to it, and this case is personal. Florida has given heavier sentences to individuals who have not committed murder at all (let alone such a sadistic one). Society is safer with her in jail.
She turned it down because she's nuts. Zipping someone up in a suitcase without thinking it could be harmful or as a punishment is just plain crazy. Alcohol or not.
She knew it was harmful as CPS a few years before this charge, told her not to zip Lukas in a suitcase because injuries like this can arise. But as Suitcase Sarah says she excels at everything and that she's a great mom. Family Court kinda doesn't see it her way. She's always accusing someone of abuse. For someone who had literal 50/50 custody and yet only saw her kid maybe 2 days a week and it was whenever she felt like it and would end when she and Jorge's fights were escalating she'd have Brian pick Lukas up. At Lukas agreed some of the fights were stupid and unproductive. Hope he doesn't learn his mother's bad behaviors
i guess she also admitted that she beat him with a baseball bat while he was in the suitcase. that makes it even more horrific when it was beyond so already 😢
I know a guy that zipped his wife in a suitcase. He is a POS for sure but whats worse is there was about 20 other people standing around watching this happen and no one did a thing about it. He finally walked away and eventually one of the other women let the wife out. Honestly, WTF !
@justme-dm7sb psychopaths will do horrific things to others but scream and plead for mercy when they're on the receiving end. They cannot be rehabilitated. They have no empathy for others.
I think she's just so used to getting her way by throwing tantrums, making herself the victim, or by force. Now, it's not working for the first time she's not getting her way.
And I think Dr. Grande also underestimates how much someone can live in denial of reality. If she had accepted the deal, it would have been over and her sentence would have been determined. As it is, she can still pretend she's going to be a free woman when the trial is over. She just doesn't want to face reality.
I actually think her victim mindset is what causes all her troubles. She has no understanding of her own agency and how her own deeds and decisions affect what happens in her life. She seems to be convinced that her allegedly bad relationship had nothing to do with her own actions (staying in the relationship), which makes her justified to kill her allegedly abusive boyfriend. And now she thinks she's not in fault that she killed him. And this is also what makes her a not sympathetic defendant. She has no insight into how she appears to others when she only defends her actions and acts like a victim. At least, when I first heard about the case, I gave her the benefit of a doubt, that it might have been an accident. But the more she speaks, the harder it gets to have sympathy for her. If she just apologised and regretted her actions, she'd appear more likable and maybe jury could have mercy on her... But her endless ramblings and self-righteousness is just annoying and makes no good for her.
This is what I was thinking. She seems to think she's the smartest person in the room and is convinced that she will be able to fool the jury into thinking she's innocent, or at least a good person who doesn't deserve this kind of treatment.

In the UK, there was an MI-6 agent who was found dead, zipped up in a suitcase that was also padlocked from the outside. This case was ultimately declared a suicide.
Dr. G, I love the format you did this video in. Please post video updates of her trial in this same format. I’ve been watching the proceedings over the last two days and it is so interesting. Sarah’s mannerisms during the trial are fascinating and today her motion for the court to provide her snacks was denied. 😂 The woman is on another planet. Love your UA-cam and Patreon channels. ❤
She reminds me of a woman I knew who was a Narcissist. In fairness, facts show that four of the nine lawyers had conflicts of interest and Sarah was not responsible for their resignations. But she is difficult to like.
Sarah is Sarah's problem. She is a legend in her own mind. She STILL after five years in jail has not learned one thing about herself. She is a narcissist and, I could be incorrect, she is also that child that her parents gave in to for her whole life just so she would shut up. I can see her kicking and screaming, calling her parents names, etc. I am willing to bet she will insist on getting on the stand to testify. Once she opens her mouth its a wrap. The jury will loathe her and have zero sympathy. I feel bad for her cellie. Omg being locked in with her - I'd rather stick pins in my eye.
I agree. She won't be the first narcissist who truly believes they did nothing wrong and that they're the victim rejecting a plea deal and wound up with life without parole. Dr. Grande should do a feature on famous rejected plea deals from delusional criminals who believed they were innocent.
It's crazy that she thinks the family and the victim deserve no kind of justice. Wow. She's the kind of person who deserves even more time for her lack of remorse.
I actually envy his heightened state of mind! I think that at the moment before the end of this video he would greatly appreciate it if someone would 've brought him a nicely chilled can of coke 🥤
Everything she does shows who she is. She left him in a suitcase until he died while she talked to him and recorded it, she fired eight lawyers until she got one that is going to do things her way. She turned down a great deal that never should have been offered. I believe she will be found guilty, and the judge will not be lenient because of the callousness of her actions.
100% imo, Sarah wants to go to trial to mock and humiliate her "enemies" and further belittle her victim. She is so obsessed with it that she can't see past the end of her own nose. 😮

@@Kossuk If he was beating her so badly why then did Sarah Boone bail Torres out of jail herself each time she had him arrested for it? You do know that Sarah Boone was arrested of beating him as well.
If he was so violent, how the heck did she get him into the suitcase? Mind boggling.
He got in there of his own freewill. She zipped him up
I am shocked someone could actually claim she was afraid for her life but then she took a nap.
It's first degree because he asked for help and she ignored it.
Agree
I agree with you, but I think she’ll get manslaughter via battered spouse/intoxication/did not believe he was actually in danger defences.
“That’s what it feels like when you choke me.” Is the line that gets me. She admits so much knowledge of what she’s doing right there. This could’ve started as she said, but this ended with revenge, and I have no idea how it’s considered 2nd degree.

We bought a suitcase about a month ago, it has a warning label about not putting a human being inside.
Sarah Boone gets a royalty
She hàð allegedly zipped her son In a suitcase in the past!
You know, I quite enjoy this format, the energy is different and quite enjoyable :) Thanks Doc
In the UK, there was an MI-6 agent who was found dead, zipped up in a suitcase that was also padlocked from the outside. This case was ultimately declared a suicide.
Agent 007 didn't want to Live
I thought they argued that he had a confinement fetish and ruled it accidentally, but self inflicted?
Or has this happened more than once
Obvious coverup for a death that the local police found first.
She's always been about vindication. She's never been guilty in her mind.
This format is great, and I also like your delivery here so much better! Thanks!
Agree!
Yes!
Feels much more comfortable, intimate , real...
Very similar to his earlier video's.
I like it too!
I love the casual conversation type video. Thank you for changing the format for this video
I love seeing you in the is format - I like the regular ones,too- this one seems so friendly and natural.
Your voice is soothing and the stories you cover are great… love this channel
@@Chaeya Great suggestion!
I agree with what you have said. Reading what you say and how you express yourself you strike me as being an Australian. Am I wrong??
Clearly you have forgotten that she was an Honors student!
@@theresisty7122 oh, yes, you are correct and therefore she IS smarter than everyone!😂
It's crazy that she thinks the family and the victim deserve no kind of justice. Wow. She's the kind of person who deserves even more time for her lack of remorse.
Worse
She thinks she's the victim, and the family hates her for no reason
I like this format, Dr G, seems more natural and engaging (just IMO)
I actually envy his heightened state of mind!
I think that at the moment before the end of this video he would greatly appreciate it if someone would 've brought him a nicely chilled can of coke 🥤
Todd, I really like this format of video as an addition to your usual format. I like the less scripted and more intimate feel of this style.
And Sarah's callousness extends to every person she has dealt with since Jorge's death...in particular her lawyers, Judges and ex-husband.
@@UberFoX More like 5 or 6 years, since she's already done time. So glad her narcissism made her turn it down.
100% imo, Sarah wants to go to trial to mock and humiliate her "enemies" and further belittle her victim. She is so obsessed with it that she can't see past the end of her own nose. 😮
Congrats on 1.5+ million doc. I've been around since before 300k. Time flies.
P.S. for 2 million can you do a list of dumbest pro se defendants plz? Lolz
Do you remember his sweet thank-you video for 600k subs. It was so nice to get to know about Dr. Todd Grande 🙏😃♥️🌿
Oh! That would be an interesting one!
I LOVE the set up for filming Dr Grande!
Just hearing how he died causes a claustrophobic to trip out.
"you may end up with a shank biologically installed"
I can not cope 😂
Dr. Grande, this was like having a personal chat with you. I love the relaxed feeling! Also enjoyed the video of you & Mrs. Grande on your cruise. You give a lot of comfort in these crazy times.
Regarding Sara, she just sunk her own battleship. I don't feel sorry for her --- the video of Jorge begging for his life was horrendous --- but what a mistake she just made.
He seems tired in this video.
Agree I noticed it was a bit more relaxed and enjoyed it.
TSA: "did you pack your own bags?"
Sarah: "why yes, I did!!"
This will go down in history: The Suitcase Defense
It was an open and shut (suit) case.
@@AnalysisMedia 😉 Absolutely perfect!! 🤩
Nah people will forget after the next event, suit, or case
@@perhapsbutmaybe Unless the records, like the victim, are sealed in the next case. This Boone case, however, may have wheels. Even though the victim was a total square, she was smothering to the point he only had one escape.
@@AnalysisMediaFunniest comment 😂😂😂
Another excellent video! Thank you, Dr. Grande.
I love this format, Doctor. It's great to be thinking 'along' with you.
Doc, this is a welcome change of format. Sometimes things are too slick, especially when there are obvious cuts in the video. Since the camera is always pointed right at you, those cuts are sometimes jarring. There's a real honesty in this, and we're not upset when you occasionally hem and haw or drift a bit.
Regardless of whether or not he was abusive toward her, he was a human being. I’ve heard/seen the video/tape where he’s pleading for help and she just mocks him, etc. it was very hard to hear. She deserves prison for a long time, imo.
All of her miserable life.
how did she get him into the suitcase in the first place?
From what I head, they were equally as horrible to each other.
Her ex husband talked about how she would physically abuse him , but he would retaliate
You need to use this setup more often Dr Grande....gives it that "breaking" news vibe and I trust YOU more than the national news w/o a doubt anyway !!!
Feels like we're just having a chat. Love it, thank you!
I really like this format, Dr Grande!
Hi Dr Grande, will you please analyse Virginia McCullough, 36, in England, UK who killed both her parents in 2019 for the insurance money and stayed living alongside their dead bodies for 4 years in their home?
This one is on the way :)
@@DrGrande fabulous and thank you! I can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
And was sentenced to 5 years?.. Its UK.. Thats possible there
Wow, never heard of her. Grotesque.
@DrGrande Great, I want to understand what they did wrong so I avoid those mistakes.
Dr. Grande, really enjoy your more informal analysis here. Please do more!
YES. Yes she did. Narcissism is a helluva drug.
Are you a licensed psychologist
Grandiose narcissism 😅
Narcissism and stupidity are a hell of a combo.
@professionalpookie
We all know the answer is no.
They're another ignorant UA-cam commenter high on the excitement of a new word. It's pathetic, all these uneducated people pretending to be qualified to diagnose complete strangers.
"I don't like that person, so they're a 'narcissist,' clearly."
Who diagnosed Sarah with narcissism? Which licensed and certified psychiatrist did that?
Thank you for taking the time to analyze this plea deal.
We appreciate you Dr. Grande 🙏
This is just my favorite channel. To think without UA-cam I wouldn’t get to speculate about these situations with my favorite Doc
You have a most beautiful way with words. A "biologically installed shank" is something I'm adding to my everyday vocabulary.
❤ This format. Have a great Sunday, Dr. Grande. 😊
i like this more “relaxed” style of video!
I do too! Thank you for uploading this video!
Me too..I feel at home.
The old is new again!
I'd love it if Dr. G went live!
He wouldn't have to do hours of editing. ❤
Thanks so much for this clarification! I can’t believe she turned this down 😮
How fun to see a different format. I love the old one too but I hope you do some more of this style. Perhaps you could keep us up to date like this one during the Sarah Boone trial, I value your opinion.
Been waiting for this case to start since 1801 it feels like.
Love this presentation style you have used today ❤
Awesome studio Dr. Grande
I haven't even watched your take on it yet, but i heard about the details of the deal and the answer is YESSSSSSSSSS! Now I will watch you!
Your math and mine are exactly the same. Thank you for correcting the errors I keep seeing.
Love this more casual Dr Grande more please.
This is how all of his videos were when he started
What's old, is new again! Both styles are interesting.
Good afternoon, Dr. Grande! I do enjoy this format, and I appreciate your analysis on this case. I found it very informative. This case has been a hard one to follow. Honestly, I'd almost given up trying to keep up with it. Thank you for consistently creating intelligent and informative content. Informative, to say the least. I also appreciate the way that you explain things, and, of course, your humor never fails to make me laugh out loud. Thank you for your hard work and dedication 😊
Excellent presentation. You are always growing and expanding your repertoire of skills. This is spontaneous and conversational and done really well!
I really like this video format, Dr. Grande. The delivery is very pleasant to listen to, and the cherry and sprinkles for me is that you just chose to talk about a topic, instead of answering "someone's" video request...
I watch your videos daily - I truly enjoy them! For me, this format was SO great - I just loved it!! It's very personable and genuine, very authentic way of relating to us. Really great, do it more often!!
Totally agree 💯
You hit the nail on the head, Dr. Grande. She has lost her everloving perspective on the whole case. Sarah wants to be right and damn the consequences. I also think that as the trial progresses and she sees her fate, her lawyer will reach out to the state and ask for the same 15-year plea deal. I think that deal is gone forever.
Maybe she fantasizes a Netflix deal Making a suitcase Murderer through an appeal with some innocent project’s help
Let’s hope the deal is gone forever
That was a great video, Dr. Grande! Thank you!
❤ Dear Dr Grande I absolutely love this new format and thanks for covering this..I had forgotten about it ❤❤ you seem far more relaxed ❤❤
It's the old format, but new to some.
Looking sharp, Dr G 👌 That brick wall is ON POINT 😎🙌
I'm liking this new format, or whatever you want to call it. Seems more real and like I'm listening to a friend over a coffee or beer. Nice work
I've always loved watching your videos, but ever since you introduced us to your wife, I like them even more.
Thanks for covering this, I'm looking so forward to watching the trial, popcorn ready, I hope her boyfriend receives justice, what a horrible death and so needless! Love hearing your wisdom on these current events, thank you for your hard work!
I like the format/ your demeanor in this video much better than the usual videos.
If you like , and want to see more of this style, take a look at some earlier video's
It's the same as it has been that I know of. Except for the background
Followed Dr G since Covid/ 1 thousand followers. I tend to listen to him every night, his voice is soothing.
This presentation is similar to when he was with his two friends during covid times, all analysing cases.
Tbh, I dont care if the good Dr is sat in his basement or backyard, his delivery is still A1. Long may he continue!
Thanks for the update Doc 😊
Well stated! Absolutely love listening to Dr Grande
You kinda sound like Freddie Highmore as Dr. Shaun Murphy from that show, called “The Good Doctor” 😊😅
Great show, I’ve been really meaning to get started on watching it 😂
Good video. The first one I've seen that fully explored the ramifications of the plea deal.
I MUCH prefer this style of speaking. So much more natural. Thank you.
They were playing a form of hide and seek … I’m not sure they really understood how the game worked !
