I know way more about cars than 99% of all car salesmen. I don’t negotiate. A few years ago, I was looking for A Chrysler Pacifica van. A dealer had a nearly new van that I liked. I said “i’ll give you $32,000 out the door”. Dealer- i cant do it for that price. Me-OK, thank you for your time.
A few months later, I found a different van at a different dealer. Me-I’ll give you $28,000 out the door. Dealer-OK.
It’s not difficult. Knowledge and patience go a long way.

i got a good deal on my mustang at a kia dealer.they wouldnt meet my price for first 2 months.on the 3rd month they gave in.they said it was traded in.what kind of a nut would trade in an 85k mile ford dealer serviced mustang for a KIA? mustang runs flawlessly to this day.& that was 5 years ago.the kia probably isnt running to well by now though.

Did that once. Certified Pre Owned. Supoosedly 111 point inspection. Brakes were bad. Fought us on it. Never again.
