They didn't perform this song every often but my favorite performance of this song is My December Projekt Revolution 2002. This song doesn't sound like a song that Linkin Park would have done especially in 2000. The bass guitar player Dave (Phoenix) is playing the cello during the performance of this song. Mike Shinoda wrote this song on their tour bus on the way to Nashville Tennessee to record it for a rock Christmas cd with quite a few other rock bands/artists for a rock radio station in Los Angeles California. This song is about the loneliness of being on tour while missing their ladies. At the time Chester was the only member of the band that was married. Mike Shinoda got married to his wife in May 2003 just after their second studio album Meteora was released (March 25 2003).
