Will do! Right now I'm still finishing out the 3rd set of the block. I had an artist reach out to donate a couple of pieces, so maybe someday it won't all be AI art if that keeps happening.
Wow this is really cool. I have no idea where Ill be in a year but I love the idea. I was recently wondering about this same sort of idea, just taking a game and running with it regardless of what the company says. Seems like more and more communities end up having to do that these days.
Netrunner is a good example of a game that "died" yet the community refused to let it die. Magic might keep going, but I think it has room for offshoots.
@lordrumfishsmagicarena271 definitely, but I think ground work should be laid now for it. I think you should try getting the word out, try to get a larger mtg content creator to help you advertise it and participate in the event. That kind of outreach could really make your idea take off.
@@robweb2928 I'm going to try. I'm brand new to organizing events and advertising, so there's a learning curve to get past. I'm not sure how I get the right person's attention yet.
Honestly a really cool idea, and I also love the cards. Sadly I don't live in the U.S, but I really do think you've got a cool idea and I hope it works out.
@@lordrumfishsmagicarena271also I feel that the “chronosiphon” should be 0 mana for some as impactful as skipping a turn, comparing it to the pact cards. But maybe I am wrong
I think letting Foundations stick around for 5 years as intended is a more interesting idea. As for this project, sign me up! I’ll try it out once Standard loses its Magic sets.
News flash. "Trading" otherwise known as bartering is still capialism. Everyones just been brainwahsed to believe using only one currency at threat of imprisonment if you dont and having a central bank decide the interest rate for everyone's money isn't capitalism. Anyway nice video good ideas.
I’ve been interested in making a Universes Beyond block set for either D&D or Warhammer 40K (or even Warhammer) Ravenloft or Dark Sun would have so much damn flavor…also DragonLance. Looks like you are doing some great work, keep it up!
Thanks! Veldmar does tie in to D&D due to the influence of the Far Realm and illithids, and one of the races of Veldmar are dark elves (lacking ties to Lolth). In the long run I would consider Adventures in the Forgotten Realms to be canon, which opens up other planes from roleplaying games.
This sounds like an excellent idea, I'm into it, just keep us all posted.

even if they did care about play test cards, they cant sue all of us lol

Thank you very much!
I would be interested in at giving one art piece for this set, I am pretty good at art.
Would you like to pick the card, or do you want suggestions from me? Because I would love to replace the AI art with real art.

And is there any other platform you would like to move this conversation to
@@deathandroses3861 Discord maybe? I'm Lord Rumfish there as well.

Excellent! And yes, Foundations seems fine to me, I can work with it.

Thank you. Yeah, I'm not trying to replace capitalism, just avoid legal tangles.
