    All ways busy guys, not a bad thing. Do you ever take a break. I had several trucks years ago in the uk, always maintance to do, unfortunately you can never rely on garages to carry out all your work, hits you in the pocket to. Peace of mind knowing the job's are done properly by yourselves.😁👍

    After all the trouble Peterbilt went to reduce as much Parasitic Drag from the Airflow all around your latest Semi Tractor; I wonder how much more fuel you’re going to need.
    Good Luck.

      Experience. Started in Jan 05, in a 2005 Pete 379 EXHD, w/ a fiberglass cap over the cab + sleeper. Left Wrnr and went to a franchise fleet inside Wrnr... to a 05 Frgtlnr Century w/o a cap. In 2005 & 2006. Nxt year, got back into another 05 379 w/o a cap, and THAT sleeper a/c could (almost) barely keep up w/ the summer heat in the sunshine. ( no APU )...

    Really liked this video. It really shows how much work you do on the trucks when your not driving 12 hours a day. It’s always about the trucks. You guys took a week off and had fun now it’s time to get all those jobs done you have been putting off. In just two short years so much has happened to you guys and your company. It’s has been nice witnessing it. Other are failing , packing it in, selling there trucks and are going to flip burgers in the future. Not you guys. Your growing. Kind of says you just might know what your doing. It does look good on all of the people involved. Congratulations on your continued success. Martin is very fashion conscious when it comes to his underware , they matched perfect. Plus nice too hear you helping out Martin in the morning.. Will leave it at that. Have a great and a safe day. Happy trails and happy motoring.

It is not the only reason we changed trucks I just said it would get a couple mpg better than Tyler as it’s one of the reasons which helps offset the cut rates we have now. You act cocky but your lying. I’m an engineer by trade and have hundreds of hours on wind tunnel and OTR testing on this very truck. You absolutely will see an 8 to 11% decrease in fuel economy……that’s a fact. Don’t mislead people into thinking you’ll not see a difference because the numbers don’t lie.

    • @TruckingTogether
      @TruckingTogether  Рік тому +1

      @@steves1007 This is Alice replying now and hate to tell you this but this truck is getting the exact same MPG as Tiny Dancer does (our ultraloft 579).
      You are wrong. Your “by trade” is wrong. You are not the one that’s inside this truck driving it right now seeing what is going on. You are some youtube know it all who is insistent on throwing his weight around because you need validation in your life that you are right because you said so.
      The rubber flaps that we took off account for very minor gains, the roof cap was replaced with another more visually appealing one that is the exact same height as the factory one was to encourage the airflow over the trailer. There is no loss on miles per gallon and actually there are so far only gains from what this trucks lifetime average is with me being behind the wheel and the weights we pull of more than 1 mpg so far on this first trip out with the truck. All the factory aero stuff had this truck at 6.5 mpg with pulling a van trailer with the former owner. I am at 7.5 right now which just so happened to be Tinys round trip average last week.
      And yes I will film the fuel receipts between the 2 trucks and the pen to paper miles for Battle Mountain to Denver to Laramie fill up. Same exact route for both trucks extremely similar conditions as same days of travel. It will be about a week and half out however due to video filming/a airing dates.
      Just because you said so doesn’t mean you are right here. Not your truck. Not your fuel bill. Worry about your own stuff.

    Not one change you’ve done to the truck increases your revenue one red cent. Just waiting money, and I wouldn’t stay leased to a carrier that decreases your contracted rate. y’all are on the Velox18 business plan.

    I’m back out on the road (blaming you two) and I enjoy your effort. I think that running the ‘new’ truck at least 60 days would allow a good baseline before any modifying. Stay Loaded!
