I can't drive without some air in the seat I've tried no air but am short 5 7 and I like seeing over the hood and I never had a truck with hood mirrors great video keep up the good work God bless from GA and stay safe

Really sad to see Tyler possibly leave the fleet 😢chrome up the dash on your new Pete, I had a freightliner that had all the chicken lights but living in Canada 🇨🇦 we get tons of salt on the roads in the winter and I was always fixing lights, got to the point where I sniped all the wires.

People who don’t do “custom” work wont appreciate the time it takes. Even installing a simple light that isn’t factory. Probably took 2-3 hours just to do one light. 👍🏻

Swap transmission in the 2 peterbilt this manual transmission put in the 579 and put the 579 transmission in this if it would works just saying lol

Granted, you're already done. But, the mirror assemblies look similar to mine. If you centre the mirror itself and tilt forward (facing down), you should be able to pull/push just the mirrors off by sliding them up. Maybe they're bolted in, but looked like what mine look like. When they come off, there's a bunch of groves/notches that latch together on a like a track or something (it's on the backing for the power mirror adjustments). I don't know in case you ever have to try to get in behind them again. Probably, wouldn't give you a lot room either way, might not even have given you the access actually needed.
(I'm in no way way mechanically inclined like Martin is - job done👍)

Here in the UK those are called curb mirrors there ment to let you see how far you are away from the curb this is helpfull because unlike the US here in the UK and EU in some citys the curbs are made out of granite and are very shap and so if you curb your tier on them its posible to cut the wall of your tie . Also they help spot those numpty cycalist who insist on coming up on yournearside at a set of lights and try to get the jump on you as heavy truck only go slow to get ahead of you even though you have your turn signel on to turn left , I cant understand why they get so pissed off when they have to jump off there bikes to avoid getting run over seems they dont like there bicycles getting mangled
