The abuser was so bad at lying. He immediately was nervous when they asked him to go outside for the address and had the worst excuse. And on top of that, when the girl left the room, you can even see his head turn watching her leave!
Good part on that woman for catching that they were in the same room. And good job for that girl for continuing to turn her head so that they knew something was wrong.
And the light changes when she passes in front of a window and briefly blocks the light. It was obvious then.

I thought that too. Who would, knowing they had a court hearing on Zoom, not have their phone fully charged?
This is the type of lie that a "normal" person might hear and believe thinking: Okay, I don't want you to lose battery power (fully accepting his excuse as truth). Abusers almost always seem to come up with an immediate, plausible reason not to comply to a request. But you don't question a judge when he/she asks you to provide the evidence. Harris dared to ask why to the judge and resisted doing what judge told him to do. Bad dude, apology is far from sincere. Mary looked much older than her 21 yo bully bf. Her response to the judge was ambivalent (a house, my house), and the intonation when she provided the address is telling that something is "off". I'm saying this because my ex had a very unfair life growing up and she has severe abandonment issues.
