These tips are invaluable! I will always remember the “turn your head to see where your going before turning your board” that is a very helpful tip!
Full commitment and believe in yourself you can do it!!! 💯🔥
I skated aged 12-16 yo, then again a short time at 30-32 yo, now I'm 40+ and I got the passion again by watching these vids, but I can't get myself to go to any skatepark or even here in the neighbourhood where people will probably think that I have a midlife crisis or being just a weird guy... (I used to land these tricks though back in the day and a couple more, not that I was the most perfect skater but the friendships, the laughter, the encouragement amongst guys/girls that even didn't know each other... surely miss that
I feel you. It's wierd. Going to a snowpark is totally OK but visiting a skate park as an 38 years old feels wrong.
Don't worry about what anyone else thinks. If you have a passion to get back on the board, go do it! It's for you not anyone else. :)
My parents are 50+ year olds and they still go to the skatepark. As long as we are having fun, we don't care if people judge us :)
Ever since I started watching braille I have wanted to learn how to skateboard and I am confident in saying that I can now land an ollie. If Braille wasn’t around I can confidently say that I would have never gotten on a board in my life. Now I can’t stop skating. From practicing skills in my basement, to getting kicked out of parking lots by cops (we leave respectfully) and hunting for a new skate spot. Thanks for inspiring people like me to find a new passion. Keep skating.
well thought out.
you guys are becoming legit educators.

it was a clear black night.. a clean front board..

THANK YOU SO much for this one! It is so much more difficult than you think and hard to find a scut down basic lesson this! Love you all at Braille - Love from Canada!
CHris has th emost oddly soothing voice on the Braille team. I quite enjoy when he's the host.
Thanks for making this. Wanted to get better on ramps so this will help a ton. Thank you guys for being so awesome
So Salazar progression into an axle stall looks like my path! Thank you for the awesome content!!

Another helpful video 🙌🤘
love the tutorial videos! cant wait to go back to the park near where i live, they have a mini ramp!
ive been skating for around 2 and a half years and i learned how to drop in a week ago, couldn’t be a better time to drop this vid
That's the awesome thing about skateboarding. It's your own personal experience. Some people like to skate on flat ground and others love ramps and stuff. There isn't just a single road you have to follow.
this was really helpful!
Just wan’t to learn som transition skating and you guys just fixed it! Thanks! 🙌
Nice i needed this
I loved the video Braille.
Thank you 😊
Chris: I never really see people fall forward when learning to drop in.
*looks at my broken arm*
Surgical consult today. Definitely need surgery, but all I'm thinking about is going back and doing it better in 6 weeks. x)

My goal is to get my channel on the same level as Braille LOL A boi can dream

Thanks! I've been a fan of Aaron Kyro since before Braille! I remember seeing him do a manny 3 flip manny as an ender and it shaped my skate style
Thanks
Goin to the skate park now🤙

I wish I'd have a skate too

you should do a video of how tostop the skateboard at high speed pls
Fork yeah!!!
Watching this helping me get over my crippling fear of miniramps (I know, lol) First time I attempted to start moving from street skating to trying miniramps/vert I got 7staples in the back of my head...stuck to the streets, curbs, ledges, rails, kickers, launch ramps, hips, and stairs from that day on... Might revisit miniramp someday!
This was very informative and awesome! Thanks guys!
Whoa, 7 staples! I probably wouldn't have gone back to the mini ramp either, good luck!
Just placed an order for my first braille board. Hope to get it soon!
Woo hoo! Can't wait for you to get out there and shred on it!
Just wish the board i wanted was available in 7.5". But glad to get a deck to Estonia.
More transition tutorials please! I'd prefer some more intermediate to slightly advanced tricks as well.
kewl
It always confused me as a kid why it was called 'backside' when the turn is 'forward'.
It took years for someone to explain to me that 'backside' refers to where your back is pointing in relation to the coping.
I was today years old when I found out. Thank you!
It all comes from surfing terms. Backside means your back is facing the wave, frontside means your front is facing the wave imagine the halfpipe is a wave
i ❤️ sk8
I love braille the started me of skateboarding
🙌🏻
@@brailleskateboarding omg you replied you probably won't see this but I watched you vid and dropped in on vert you also inspired me to make a yt channel so I have to say a big thank you
Just wanted to let you guys know I'm going to be grabbing a board off braille website once I get paid this week. I used to skate alot I was in the process of learning to kickflip I landed it a couple times sketch landings. But you guys have inspired me to want to get back into it.
Dis you get it
Horrible at vert and have only ever done a frontside disaster. I used to do tail slides on curbs so I’m excited to try tail stalls! Glo made them look easy!
Would be so cool if you could make like an intermediate/advanced version of this! Some tips on 5-0, smith, maybe even small fs/bs airs?
This was juuuuust what I needed! Are we adding the Salazar to the Braille Army app?
We should
It’s an amazing thing, and perfect for my next trick, can’t wait to try it on the mini ramp today!
@@boisebroncoadventures Same!
I had a scary fall trying to learn to drop in last year and now it’s in my head. I have to roll into everything, even off coping and that I’m told is way more sketchy. I am thinking if I learn to tail stall that’s a total cheat to getting over my fear of dropping in? Or should I just learn to drop in so that my tail stalls are attainable?
Hoping to have a skatepark here in PH 🛹 When I receive ma board probably goin for street skate when ecq’s already lift up
Been working on axle stalls for a minute now. Then I’ll have all the set up tricks
You know your pro when you try to slip out but make it look cool
I'm completely new to skateboarding. what are some goals I should set for myself ?
Skate almost everyday for 10+ minutes getting use to the board and skating on it without tricks. Then move up to SMS volume 1.
@@brailleskateboarding thanks man I appreciate it :D
First things first I gotta learn to drop in.
Such a great video! Keep them coming! Though, these beginner tricks make up more than half my half-pipe arsenal, which I've been sticking to for like 10 years! Lol
I want to see Rikki do the 720 version of his 360 kick turn thing.
Yeah boiiiiii
I love skateboarding you guys inspired me thank you I am 9 by the way
Awesome! Glad we inspired you
Best vid ever. I watched this when their was 69 likes and 0 dislikes.
I would buy a skateboard because of this channel,,,
You should, it will change your life!
I just learned to drop in this is a perfect video
Great!
I actually hyperextended my elbow kick turning on a ramp bc I slid back, I was practicing ollies in a sling lmao
Yea Rick
I love it! Should do 10 tricks for intermediate level then 10 for advanced!
yes! need to write that down and remember it.
Just ollied my first 3 stair today. Wouldn't it be amazing for these guys to actually teach you 1 on 1?
Nice!! We do private lessons! www.brailleskateboarding.com/products/private-skate-lessons
I gonna get my first skateboard more 3 days i so exited
🙌🏻
hmm...!... WOW... OJ2's Epic Dream Wheels Brother Glo !
Can you do an axle stall with just the back truck?
I LIKE SK8
Hi Braille team, I am looking to start a Skateboard business but i can't find a place to have boards printed. Could you give me some insights?
Hi braille, I am learning dropping in, and what seemed to help me was think i was going to lift my backfoot up. Is that something you guys would recomened or am i doing it all wrong?
Whatever helps you feel more comfortable is the way to do it! There is no way that is set in stone for skateboarding and that's why its cool. Taking all of your weight off your back foot will help you with more advanced tricks like rock the fakie and rolling in to a ramp too!
Can you show us how to stop the skateboard please? And thanks!!
What about fakie front axle stall, and fakie back axle? Both of those feel easier to me than the fakie tail stall.
Fakie 270 to feeble should be on here

Hello ever one
The way I kick turn is making my front trucks make a power slide like sound as I turn
Do a game of skate but only doubles :)
❤
Love you
U r the best skater in the world and so funny
