Thank you so much for playing! My birthday was a couple days ago but I'll take it ;). So yeah like someone mentioned the map is situated on the second floor. Those two blocked deployment spots are right next to a balcony (you can see the ladders, but it's not very obvious). The who dares wins is indeed a reference to the SAS, but the Belgian SAS (Now called Special Forces) who have the same lineage as the British SAS. It is indeed a bit of a campaign, but honestly there is no order required at all. The first ~4-13 are centered around Cuba, but beyond that I made what I felt like. If anybody is interested in playing any of my maps. Don't choose the nr. 4 or 8, those need a revamp. Pick a good one (23 for example).

Man, I'm so glad they have custom content compatibility. It REALLY allows the game to have more longevity!
This mission is supposed to be on one of the upper floors with the guys abseiling onto the balcony which is why you can’t go pull security outside
9:55 i would recommend to always make sure you have new "aiming/looking" arrows when breaching a room so that what happens with the green guy on the left doesn't happen anymore. Great vid btw always love to learn more about cqb.
Pro tip, you can drag your line to "enter a door" but instead of "kick or open" you can select a flashbang that will go off BEFORE anyone enters the room. The soldier will open the door, and immediately toss a flash in, then wait till it goes off to move in. at 12:41, green could have been instructed to open the door, but instead you click the Kick icon and change it to flash bang and then do your move mark and it opens, tosses in a bang , then moves
He does it later on with a frag too! >.
Played this recently, I came to the conclusion custom maps are a step up from the base game maps. The ones that are well thought out are challenging and make you think.

You should really check out the Tier One Overhaul. It adds a ton of new weapons, and gives you options to suppress them. It also adds a new class called "Operator", which is basically just a maxed assaulter (I think), tons of new weapons, and reworks a bunch of values to be better balanced.
Running a suppressed Vector, HK, M4, and taking a dedicated GL on a grenadier is so much fun.

I love the videos Pairs, I play this game too using realism and the tactics that I know. I don’t know about you, but I would love to see optics for sidearms as well as more attachments for Primary and Secondary weapons. Such as IR Lasers, flashlights, and suppressors for every gun. Would also go great with some NVG’s and some great midnight maps to use these features to the fullest extent.
I have to say I love this playthrough and that for good and bad that it is so uncanny valley. It is so close to being like reality that the things that aren't are amazingly blaring. I think that you do an amazing job of making each operation as realistic as possible despite the game not giving you what an actual operation would have. Being support myself I recognize a lot of the basic tactics though realizing that it is not to the level that Infantry let alone what SOF is trained at I can't help but enjoy every mission and you do an amazing job of explaining what and why you are doing everything you are doing. Keep up the absolutely stupendous work.

When I saw the map, I though to go 2 north 2 east, then leave the east guy there to overwatch the hostages.
Then the remaining 3 do exactly like you did and go for the VIP. But maybe with a wall charge so I can bypass the big NE room.
Also check out gotterdamrung campaign. Its 10 missions.
Another One in the works is called s.o.d. This one Is my favorite. It’s only 5 maps so far but they are all exceptional!

The grenade scene could’ve been avoided if u just tossed the grenade with the guy who’s breaching door, he has that option.
You should start this series from the beginning. I'm virtually certain there is no mechanic in this game that I'm unfamiliar with.

One thing I dont like about these custom maps is there's almost too much clutter. It looks more realistic but at the same time the amount of furniture and things in the way messes up the game a bit with pathing and the inability to wall charge properly. You see it right away with not allowing your guy to go long by the water.

Hey, I know you don't like talking/using your military background for your channel, but I'm really curious about your MOS and rank.
Does the M4:s etc in the background actually work or are they just part of the scenery? I mean, could a bad guy walk up to it and pick it up? Or could you have a bunch of scenery like that and then a map of basically unarmed people who can't pick the weapons up to do anything with?
Enemies are able to pick those up, yeah. It's a special object type called 'pick-up'. Accompanying them there are unarmed variants of every enemy in the game. Using player weapons (M18's are harsh) make them much more difficult to play against.
Gotta override the pie view to turn it off. I do it all the time it's really annoying.

I went through the replay and counted the kills. DK2 claims 12 hostiles eliminated, however we only see 11 confirmed kills… and one off screen. Ladies and Gentlemen…. We got em

I'm pretty sure you couldn't walk along outside is because the map is on the second floor so you couldn't see In the windows or climb through them
