One way to improve this result would have been to bring the thermal torch breaching device as well. It specifically deals with locked gates such as the one on the cell quicker than anything else.
It’s not, I’m Muslim and like Papa Pairs said, it’s a type of religious school(think Christian Sunday schools) teaching students about...well, Islamic teachings lmao. However terror groups and millitants use these schools as a method to ingrain their extremist ideology
One frustrating thing about the AI combatants is that they keep running into the parts of their compound where the bullets are coming through. It rewards the player for pulling security which is good, but it runs the risk of becoming a bit of a Turkey shoot, especially at ranges like this.
Man, the more I get into tactical mil sims, (I got zero hour now btw) the more I enjoy these videos, and the more I look at them for new things. I'm so grateful for these, thankyou!
All in all this was one of your better performances apart from losing two of the hostages, but other than that, this was a display of tactical genius, oh and you handle that counter attack like a boss.
I did this mission....took it real slow and made an L on the bottom and right side of the map and slowly pushed up a couple fire teams from the south. Fun mission
Those simo wallshots & that crossfire on the last building were very well-executed and very nice to watch. I'll be downloading this map next time I'm on. Maps like this are crucial to the game experience imo, as are the people that make them. Speaking of making maps, do you ever think you'll make your own, Pairs? Think we'd all be interested to see what you can come up with.
I really enjoy this larger size element gameplay, especially with the large map. you also could've thrown a flashbang through that locked gate, to keep any "possible executioners" stunned while you picked the lock.
DK2 really puts into perspective how fast engagements can be. This was a large mission and took only 5 minutes in real time, and there are plenty of others that take only a minute or two, hell even 30 seconds. It's really cool
It's only like that because none of the AIs were smart enough not to rush through the door where their buddies died from a sniper. IRL, the moment they see enemies, they'll start barricading themselves and executing hostages, making it harder for our guys. The first couple seconds can be real though, but only to get into those positions, not rush out like a bunch of idiots lol. But still, engagements are pretty cool and are like that IRL, rifle rounds can drop targets right away
@@faultline3936 yeah some concessions are taken for the sake of gameplay for sure, but I think it's still a neat way to show off the intensity of combat. I've had missions last only 15 seconds, yet there were easily 20 bodies on the floor by the end. The way its done is rather clinical - everyone dies immediately, you don't see guys on the ground coughing and crying as they bleed, but the message is still there, that a mistake can end your life in less than a second
Looks like a good one. I like the counter-attack, and the problem of the two breaches in order to reach the hostages. I wonder, if after clearing the door with the camera. You could use the wallshot to breach both doors.
First thought when you tride picking lock - where’s your hammerguy? What I learned in this game - quick door opener is a must. Hammer>Shotgun. Hammer>Doorbreaching Explosive. Hammer>Autolockpick. Yeah, those things have their uses but hammer is just faster and it allows negate your mistakes with speed. What I would do during last bulding breach - explosives to the 1st door, flashbang, 2 guys enter, 1 holds the door other smashes with flashbang, 3rd guy throws flashbang from outside to the room and 2 guys inside gets into 2nd room and clear it. You could make it even in your scenario if you smashed last door with hammer
🦵 > hammer lmao But yeah your completely right, I think it’s just for a more tactical feel. Weight and movement speed may be an issue? I only have gotten the game 2 days ago.
@@BisexualPlagueDoctor Give lighter gun and less armor for sledgehammer duty guy - for example give him M16 and raid armor - he will be fast, will cover pointmen while they clear rooms and if needed will open a door fast and then cover backs of entry team

i think this map was one of the best i ever saw in door kickers, but the only problem is with the executioner's placement, due to the game limitations it's impossible to neutralize before he kills some of the hostages.

Wish you could give orders to surrendered combatants if you are close enough. Feels bad to see all these private security guys blasted down because they stand straight up in doorways.
One thing I dont understand about this game is that things can be changed by the second. Usually there is either a deliberate assault plan or an emergency action plan. Considering that the layout of a facility is known, why doesn't this game make you plan the entire mission from start to finish with contingency moves?
@@ControlledPairsGaming I did know that. I only stumbled upon this game a couple of days ago via one of your videos. I am trying to decide if this sim is for me and was of the belief that is was second by second manouvre which I myself don't find to be realistic. I am just speaking from my own training and experience. So many thanks for clearing up my confusion.
MK48 is more akin to a 240 than a saw. It's a med 7.62 platform that shaves a few pounds. It's preferred on the line for it's weight savings. It is similar in reliability to a 240 - keep it clean, lubed, swap barrels when needed, and dial in the gas and you're g2g.
Keep in mind the SAW/M249 has been in service for almost 40 years now so they are thoroughly beat to hell and at that point it can definitely affect weapon reliability.
Hello controlled pairs gaming just want to ask, what does it take for you to review someone's map? I'm asking this cus I got a map that I think you will like
When surrendered enemies are stunned they drop their hands and the game registers that as them reaching for a weapon. His trooper intentionally shot that guy since at that moment he was affected by the flashbang. CPG's answer was funnier though lol
"It must be scary to be that surrendering private security." Throws flashbang directly on him. Assaults him. Flashbacks him again, then shoots him. Pretty scary.
Am I going crazy or is there an owl? Also I’m no tactical genius but can you explain why you would smoke an objective and block your line of sight on the objective when the enemy can use that to push to the hostages and kill them
You dont like that Tom Brady is out here pipe hitting? Hitting perfect 60yd bombs? But fr, i always thought that grenade throwing should be a distance based skill that is leveled up by practice (independent of rank) where it would be a range of possible landing areas that increases by range away from the operator
@@ControlledPairsGaming You'd have a better idea of realistic throw ranges and related accuracy, but to me the throw distance seem pretty generous. I'm sure there's also all sorts of postures and throw techniques depending on your position that limit range and accuracy. Just drop off accuracy or more variance at distance would be fine. So you still likely to get a lot of stuns regardless.
@@nafsiammara The throw distance is pretty realistic (I'd expect SF guys to be able to throw a grenade 40 m), but they look far because all other engagement ranges are very short (most enemies won't even shoot back beyond 50-60 m, except for FAL and RPK guys). And because grenades also splash a bit, you can effectively throw grenades at any threat with pinpoint accuracy, which does make them a bit OP.
@@autolykos9822 yeah fair enough, it's a bit odd cause those sniper rifles ranges are so far out of the map sizes as well. Wouldn't a max long throw need the right posture, like a full standing baseball type thing, or cricket throw? Presumably you don't always have a wall to vertically throw over in total cover like that. If you're throwing it underarm around a corner I can't imagine it can go super far, and you're not really even looking. But I dunno I'm just imagining it. As for 40mm I can only imagine people are that good with them, and like you said that's super close and basically direct fire.
