What are your thoughts on MatPat's video?
I watched the first few minutes of it then my attention span left the chat
From what I saw, it is one of those theories like "toni killed CJ after GTA San Andreas" where they are based on minimal data to say something as if it were the supreme truth.
I'm left in the balance, I think he got some things right but there were some explanations from him that didn't make much sense to me, but as he says, that's just a theory.
Well, a theory is a theory.
All theories are valid until proven false.
MayPat’s theory was not only interesting, but also lore accurate and fun to think about.
So, while I don’t think that his theory is *entirely* correct, it’s still an epic theory.
As a theorist myself, I can appreciate a theory for theories sake, whether correct or incorrect.

i think that if matpat's video was posted around episode 4 it would have made more sense and people will believe in it and the series is too close to the end for some theories to completely change how people see murder drones
I love went other theories actually analise and use actual evidence to back up their theories and predictions, something that i wish matpat could it done. Loredrone if you ever read this i love your work dude

Important note regarding the Solver itself: there's *heavy* implications it's quite literally an eldritch entity, something that did not originate in drone code, but rather possessed a 'dead' one as a host. Especially in episodes 5 and 6, it's associated more and more with imagery that looks like the Yellow Sign, a symbol associated with Hastur and other Lovecraftian horror entities.
Also worth noting: I think the name-S/N connection has merit, but he got it backward. It's implied Tessa found all of her drones in the dump, and repaired or restored them. It seems more likely to me that she named them for the letter in their S/N, but Cyn's armband was worn. Her S/N was too scuffed to read, so she went with the P/N instead. Cyn didn't make the drones, they ALL share a product number that starts with CYN, and it was the only legible segment Tessa could find to name her.

I think that the paper that Matpat used for his S theory is actually talking about a Sentinal. The PN means product number, so every different type of drone would have a different one, but all the same types of drones will have the same. So S wouldn't be a worker or a disassembly drone, however the Sentinals begin with S and would have a different PN. Plus, in that same place under the floorboards, there's a drawing of a Sentinal teasing episode 6
Edit: Also about Uzi fighting N over Nori, I think this will happen bc Uzi is just busy trying to deal with the information she just learnt and so the solver takes that as an opportunity to possess Uzi, and Uzi wouldn't actually want to kill N.
Finally someone alse that says something different asides from "Uzi will br mad at N and will want to kill him"

I think it would be pretty likely for n to just leave nori to die, seeing how remorseful N is and how nori could have been one of his first targets it’s likely that N didn’t have the guts to kill nori himself

I like to think S is A human murder drone cyborg
I think serial designation S is the sentinels. On the document, you see a sentinel claw on there and a picture of the sentinel next to the dead corpse. Yes, I think Nori caused the core collapse. Nori was possessed by the absolute solver and tried to explode the planet. But due to not enough matter, it only caused a core collapse. As we see as Tessa is explaining to N why he has to kill Uzi, we see a map of the absolute solver destroying planets. And also in episode two we do see that not enough matter is an issue with the absolute solver program. After doing this, Nori escapes and goes to have a life with Khan. As for Yeva, I think she witnessed or helped Nori cause the core collapse and is still traumatized about what she has done or witnessed. that’s why we see her looking down in shock in the camp 98.7 picture. Yeva eventually has Doll and passes to solver program to her. Now in the present, I think the absolute solver was trying to finish off copper nine and explode the planet for all with Uzi. J says she’s been getting orders to construct spires which I think the absolute solver is going to use after the matter to destroy copper nine. As for the fight thing in episode seven. I think Tessa goes into Nori’s room and find out that N killed Nori. Yes I know, I know, that you guys said it be unlikely for N to leave Nori to die, but what if Nori with N’s first victim? He isn’t used to killing drones yet, so he kind of just stab her and leave her to die. This would be character for N because he doesn’t even want to kill the drones. He just says he’s doing his job and wants to be useful. How do I know that Tessa goes into Nora’s room? Well, in the trailer, we see Tessa‘s hand on Nori’s room door in the cabin fevers labs. Tessa knows and not gonna kill Uzi himself so she is going to make try to make Uzi kill N so he has no choice to kill her in self-defense. Uzi in pure rage, distrust with N (because he could’ve told her), and with the solver taking over her she’s gonna be blinded and try to kill him. During the fight, she’s gonna realize she’s trying to kill the only person that she truly cares about because of someone that she didn’t even know. That’s why the trailer we see Uzi hug N and crying. Also, the Uzi fights N theory is supported by the fact, Uzi, crushes and hand in the trailer. Some people are like oh, that’s the absolute solver but no. Her hand light is purple she is in control, she’s doing this all by herself. (also one more little thing after we see Nori room door, we see the core collapse. So I think that’s a subtle message that she did cause it.) but hey, i’m just a random person on the Internet typing for too long about a show. I guess to see if any of these theories are right. We’ll have to wait till spring. Thank you for reading. :)
I like the Theory but two things that don't match
1. Why would there be info that would reveal who kill her in her room? Didn't she die a long time after abandoning those labs?
2. Are we sure Nori was N's firts victim? Din't in ep 1 he came out of his ship whit V and J and started shooting missiles at all the drones around.
3. N never shows sings to remember or even know who Nori was which makes me question if he even ever met her.
People have to remember that MatPat's theories aren't meant to be 100% correct all of the time, as he said before they are just made to look at your favorite franchises at a different perspective, plus he has been used to making FNAF theories for years so he might not do as well covering a series that tells it's lore in a completely different way

Just one thing why noone is making theories about why worker drones were wearing clothing before the core collapsed or why they we AI controled if it would have been better making them just obey so there is no chance for somesing like absolute solver to make a deal with dying drone
My idea (did not watch your theory, ill watch after typing this) so, as seen in dead end, you see in the entrance area with the sentinel drawn in oil yada yada, but there is broken party formed dissasembly drone pats, like a certian basement dweller named cyn, cyn is a solver controlled drone like nori, and when she left, she barely had control, using the reality breaks to tell khan to make doors, but the parts in dead end' lab area (first room) the parts resemble cyn's basement creations meaning he solver need one host to make more dissasembly drones to send to the next planet, blood in biology is a compound oil is made of, old blood = oil, so dissasembly drones can drink blood, this adds to the fact dissasemblys drones are robot vampires, its coming full circle bois
Don't mind me over here, the guy who looked through every single frame and forgot 80% of them for writing a bloated, and frankly pretty crap, review. Still, I used to enjoy MatPat, but I've seen his descent, his contents slowly been getting worse and worse, and sped along with him running 5 different channels at once. I also saw MatPat's video as soon as it came out, I had high expectations, and oh boy, was I disappointed. Also, funny story, writing a giant complaint and saying all the things MatPat either missed or flat out got wrong, not as a comment as I certainly am not brave enough for that, actually got me to waste a week of my life writing that review, and got me into writing, so at least one good thing came out of that video. Still, MatPat's works have slowly lost quality in preference of quantity, and that's why most of his current theories are so bad, also, fun fact, most of the theories he shows aren't actually his, he just steals them and takes all the credit. Also yes, I am indeed a theorist, and yes, I do indeed have some theories, although I'm not sharing.
I feel a little stupid for the reason that I believed in one of MatPat's theories that there is such a character as SD-S, which will appear later (it turned out that S was just the designation of the Sentinels), but at the same time I had a similar theory even before his theories, without looking at the details more closely on my own, although It was worth doing. Then there were other theorists talking about S, who only reinforced my belief about this character, but they and MatPat are not to blame for this, because all their words were just theories and assumptions, and if these are theories, then this doesn't mean that they can be 100% true. Thus, I learned a lesson for myself that before really believing in any "truthfulness" of a theory, it's better to wait for confirmation from future episodes about it, or try to figure out the theory myself based on the real facts from the show and starting from them, and be very attentive to everything, of course, even when I'm not a super skilled theorist. One of you correctly said that in order to create the most accurate theory (as far as possible), you need to know literally every frame and every detail of every episode.
Thank you all for this amazing video! This video helped me sort out some mess in my head. I think that you all pointed out MatPat's mistakes well, analyzing his theories, but not condemning him, and you did the right thing.

For the 3rd Acrylic piece, i do believe it to be Doll since she seems to wield a knife above her head while the bottom looks to be a fast slashing motion or an electrical attack but its odd since it also has a Acid tail and wings like an actual MD. And since its a battle mural I think Tessa will be the opponent since we see neither of them in the ep7&8 teaser at all. When one of you guys brought up CYNs plan to kill 'solver drones' this wasnt said only that they sent the MDs there to make the spire and go to the labs after. Killing the Solver drones was more of Vs idea. CYN herself may also be a human as seen on CYNs body in episode 5 has CYN as the S/N which most likely short for Cynthia and was a robot lover like Tessa which probably was the reason she let Tessa go. CYN also doesnt seem to be hostile toward the group throughout ep6 and is actually helping them get to the labs. One last thing about CYN, her plan just seems to be an infinite source of material so that none of the Drone of her family have to be thrown away again as said in ep5.

My problem with MatPat´s theory is that, at the core, it´s very surface level. Now why is this a problem? It´s his first episode covering the show after all and just talking about everything at once would overwhelm the viewers who haven´t seen the show yet. But he skips over so much crucial information, the most obvious one being no mention of the Solver powers at all until the very end of the video, not elaborating on them further.
He also bases almost the entire theory on the assumption that Cyn is the villain- despite using the clip that debunks this, several times in the video: "It took Cyn as a host, then it took everything".
Overall, I expected more.
I honestly didnt watch MatPat video about murder drones bc i knew he would be wrong but i think the reason why he made the murder drone video is to stay relevant and to make money but i might be wrong tho
