Hey all! Thanks for the comments! I realize I said SMOOTH way too much in this video LOL. This car just got some newer injectors in my repair series so be sure to check those out. Now it drives much better!
How many miles on yours? I have an 08 with 100K bought 6 years ago. Keep hearing on UA-cam channels that it’s the worst Lexus for reliability but don’t want to get rid of it because it’s the smoothest Lexus as you may already know lol

I have a 13 ls460. It’s a great platform. The most comfortable car I’ve owned by far. Incredibly quiet and spacious. I got the rwd version, so there is plenty of power. Thanks for making this video, would be interested seeing a muffler swap for something that allows the beautiful v8 sound to be heard a little better (without totally compromising the luxurious aspect of the car).
Welcome to the LS experience, I have a 460L 2011 and I'm absolutely crazy about this car I purchased it 2yrs ago it had 111,000 miles on it but still drove and handled like a dream, and since you have one how I've become a subscriber to your channel, I wish you good success with this beauty
I just bought a black 2011 460L with 100,000 miles. I've been looking at Big luxury cars for quite a while on the internet, decided on this one; I couldn't be happier with a car. It's awesome!
Bought a triple black 2014 LS460L RWD on 2-13-23, had 60,100 miles. Today, 7-7-24 has 66,070. You can't say smooth too often! Runs and operates like a new car and I love it. I'm 71 and will drive this from now on. Thanks for the videos!
I recently picked up a '13 GS350 F-Sport. I have never owned a Lexus or any luxury car before and even though it was a used, but very good condition car, it just feels different in a good way. Lexus really know how to build a luxury car with performance and not lose their reliability.
I’ve got a 2010 LS 460 L AWD with 152,000 miles on her. Mechanically wise it’s perfect, zero codes. air ride perfect , Of course I did have to change out control arms due to age of vehicle. Lots of power , insanely smooth. My LS has not been problematic at all. Body is pristine. Understand I have other 4 vehicles so my Lexus has had an easy life. Yes I do love this car.
My brother still drives his 1998 LS400 which he won't get rid of says it drives better than 2022 Mercedes GLE 500 So he gave that to his wife and he daily drives his LS400. Also in Long Island NY
Nice video, congrats on the LS. I have an 08’ Ls460 RWD with 254k miles. They’re amazing cars that last forever if you maintain them! They do have the obvious control arm and brake actuator issues but those are all things that can be addressed!
I've replaced 3 or 4 of them. Common failure. Lots of labor. Parts cost is expensive. Not to mention the front control arms that cost 4-5k every 100k miles.
I absolutely LOVE my car. I have a 2013 LS460 F-Sport and its a great car. I've had it for 3 years and log about 20K a year on it and it keeps going. It's a beautiful simple well built car with no unnecessary tech. I Do wish it had Apple CarPlay but no complaints.
I did the exact opposite. I started looking at LS460s, but just didn't care for the seating position. No matter what I did to adjust the seat, my head always felt too close to the ceiling. The suspension and brake actuator horror stories were the nail in the coffin for the LS. I landed on a 16 GS350 F-Sport AWD, and I love it! Edited to add: I'm really stoked to see your ownership experience. Despite the seating position and loving my GS, I still get a small pang of regret every time I pass a nice LS. 🤷♂️😆
Owned my 2is and then a 2013 gs350 and had a 07 460 and 600hl but sold them both because of expensive maintaince required in the near future and so own a 13 and 17 gs350 f sport The ls had a comfier seat and smooth transmission and engine but the seat and position make your legs very uncomfortable
That’s one of the all time rock solid platforms. I don’t think there has been an iteration yet that has been crappy. I was in early high school when the first gen came out and when the older kids would rock their parents ls 400s it was “a thing”. Had a friend that had an ls430 and that was a great car to drive. Such a great platform. A little “boaty” yes of course but still an awesome ride.
Keep an eye out on coolant level. It will blow cold air when the heat is on if coolant is low. They tend to leak on coolant valleys. Abs actuator is a high ticket item. Sunroof gasket becomes britle and makes lots of wind noise. You can’t just swap the gasket. Lexus decided to make it a whole piece with the glass and its around $800 bucks. Overall is a great car. Well built, comfortable and quiet. People swear by Lexus reliability which is true but with age that goes out the window as materials deteriorate
I have a 2014 AWD & it’s comfortable, spacious, fun, and classy. I just put in a remote start so the winter should be a breeze (no pun intended). I went from driving GS’s to the big LS, and don’t miss the GS after driving this!
It's got the FSport grill and Shimamoku Espresso steering wheel & Shimamoku instrument panel trim. The available Shimamoku (striped wood) steering wheel takes 38 days to make by hand. The doors, dash, steering wheel all from a single tree. Mark Levinson® Reference Surround Audio with 19 speakers 359 @ 6,400 (AWD)* 347 @ 4,100 (AWD)* 16/23/18 (AWD)* The body is hand-sanded twice, between alternating layers of paint.
Big yes! Would love an LS460 , better if F sport too, no air suspesion head aches and I dig AWD even with the worse fuel consumption and generally more expenses. As long as it's not an L version, I'd still consider it a driver's car.
You’re back on lexus dude! So glad to see you grab a more spacious one- I feel you on the space for the IS. You deserve it bro! You always put love into your cars, and that one is in great hands. Hope it lasts you another 200k+
Love it man! Really looking forward to this series. Like you i have an IS350 and it's just too small. I've really been eyeing a 460, and not much info on the 13+ models. The GS is a nice compromise but I'm a sucker for luxury barges.
The screen and clock look nearly identical to my 2018 lexus es350 at least in design and shape. Its neat to see when lexus continues something in newer cars from the older ones.
200k is fine for a well taken cared of Camry but for a heavy V8 Lexus...that's a lot. Expenses are certainly high for an LS. I know because I had a 2014 LS460.
Nice video and nice ride. I've been looking for a clean 07 460 for a good price, purchasing mine later today. Can't wait to start upgrading it! I'll be looking out for more of your vids.
You should definitely get one, I bought a 2011 it had 100,000 mi on it. It is the most beautiful car you will ever have; it is big, powerful, quiet, all class. I will keep mine for many many years.
Not gonna lie, definitely been looking into these lately. Not usually a fan of bigger cars, but this might be it with the comfort and reliability. One of my daily beaters is a 07 is250 with 208k miles and never an issue with it
Lexus's V6 doesn't usually have issues, but their 4.6 and 5.0 V8 have some costly issues. Pain the in the butt just to work on them. Since the LS is a larger vehicle, maybe not.
I was mostly a Ford guy through the years, so when I originally went shopping LS460 it seemed TOO good/quiet/disconnected driving experience for me. That’s how I wound up in a GS350F Sport instead. I’d rather have the V8, and now that I’m used to quite a bit more refinement the 460 would probably work for me, but I guess I needed to start somewhere lol 😝 Glad to see you enjoying the new ride already and looking forward to the content !
Yea I just picked 13 gs rwd wanted a 13-14 ls460 rwd f sport but it was hard to find I do wish it was the 14 gs350 with the 8 spd but the 6 spd Is pretty decent
@@kgisabeast If the GS had 350 hp it would be flawless. I have a 13' F-sport and coming from an 11' Corolla, it's everything I've wanted in a car. Just wish it had a tad more hp but it's still plenty for a daily. Such a gem of a car that won't truly be appreciated until everything's electrified.
I've been a Mercedes mechanic for 22 years and I swear I will never buy a car from New York or New Jersey. I've seen more issues from vehicles from New York and New Jersey than anywhere else. I had a customer come in and said he just bought it from New York and wanted the car checked over. That car was two separate vehicles welded together, it had 2 VIN numbers. The amount of hackery and Butchery that goes on up there is absolutely incredible. I always tell people never purchase a used car from New York or New Jersey. Just the fact the vehicle is anywhere near New York City stay away. There's a ton of shady shit that goes on up there. Especially if the vehicle was a city vehicle and was driven by anyone in the city. A majority of those people do not maintain their vehicles . Nice car though ! Hope it's a good one for you. I like sedans and don't like SUVs. I'd like to get a 460 but kind of pricey.
Got for you man. I got one a month ago 2016 with 46k miles, I don’t regret it one bit. Just like any car they can have issues but I did my research. Test drive one and love for. Also I have 2 small kids and there is plenty of room for all of us. It was either this ls or a brand new Honda AccordI went with the LS and I’m so glad I did
6 months ago, I got a 2010 LS460 with only 51,000 miles on it. I got it really cheap and this car is like new. I am amazed at how nice it is. It has the soft doors close and many other features. I love the Lexus V8. It all stocks, and I want to make some tasteful modifications on it. Any suggestions are welcome.
Nice one. I'm from Australia, and I drive a 2010 Toyota Crown Majesta. Same line of vehicles, but Majesta is the flagship model in Japan. Same drive line (1UR and 8 speed auto), amazing car!
Love that you're exploring this platform. Being that i currently am an isf owner its nice seeing what its like when you put comfort first and performance second. Honestly with a fatter set of wheels this thing would look even most beast than it already does.
Marty study ( The car care nut) channel he’s the leading Lexus Toyota expert with the LS 430 and 460 in the US. He’s near Chicago. he reviews the 460. You’ll learn a lot from him.
2007 LS460L here - beautiful car. Just be sure to take care of the suspension (control arms, bushings, tie rods) and you'll be good to go. This thing EATS oil too, depending on how you drive that V8 :).
What do i think of this car? It's my favorite LS of all times. Such an elegant vehicle, but also way more reliable than anything in the same category. I really want one, but i NEVER found the spec i like. In Canada, they're on all beige inside and out or long wheelbase. I'm subscribing, i want to see where it goes.
I just got a 2010 LS 460 AWD with 180,000 on it. I fell in love with it the first time I drove it. It just drives like it wants to be driven hard. I did put some k&n air filters, and replace the cabin filter. Definitely needed. Vacuum a bunch of look like chipmunk or mice stuff out of the air box.. everything seems to be running great on mine. Sure yours will be awesome as well.. One stop hiccup is fixed.
Dude - congrats! Two weeks ago I traded my 2013 LS 460 F-Sport AWD (ML, tri-beam, all-weather pkg) in for a 2013 GS 350 RWD becasue I missed having a sports sedan. I loved my LS, but the extended warranty was ending soon, and I did not wanrt to deal with the expensive F-Sport struts or potential isues with the AWD system or expensive electronic bits. While this is an extraordinarily reliable car, parts are expensive, and the air struts seem to go every 60-90K. I did not have any issues other than the analog clock dying, which was replaced under warranty. Check if this car is affected by the brake actuator TSB. You are exactly right - it is a luxury boat, but it's a gorgeous car. The back seats are great for kids. What you've got here seems to be an LS 460 with an F-Sport front facelift with the hard-to-find tri-beam headlamps. Makes me wonder if it might have been in an accident - replacing the front clip is a fair bit of work, and the parts are not cheap. Anyway, congrats!!
The ls is on my shortlist. My favorite model is the one they made between 2013 and 2017, with the v8. But it's not a big enough upgrade from my car to justify the cost of switching cars
I picked a 2008 ls 460 20k miles in 2015, and Its still under 50k miles in 2024. It's one of the best cars I have owned. I just have the RWD with Mark Levinson system and practically all other features including chrome wheels.. the engine bay looks brand new and anywhere still smells like a factory fresh, amazing car. I have heard people doing a million miles on this v8. but I wont even get to the 200k that yours have in my lifetime.
It is my dream car. Exactly this particular trim. Facelift with AWD and Mark Levinson audio system. Too bad their prices have gone up and facelift models were expensive to begin with.
Been driving RWD Lincoln town car and Hyundai equus around the Detroit Michigan area for years and never had an issue in my winter. Especially with snow tires. I just discovered them a couple of years ago.😮
I just came from 2012 IS 360 to a 2008 LS loving it has low miles drives like a cloud bus also a beast when needed welcome to LS family are you on Club Lexus!
I’ve got a 2015 LS fsport bought used in 2018. Fantastic car, no issues until last month with 146k miles. The front driver air shock leaked. Cost 1250 from a discount Lexus dealer. But the air compressor broke too. 2460 for just the part on that. So yeah, super reliable but when it breaks prepare yourself. That 4800 bill came out of nowhere. But now she’s super smooth and making me happy again
I absolutely love Lexus I have a 2006 GS300 and I love it I still have some work to do on it but I still love it. Won’t go for an LS for now because the engine is a bit too big
Welcome!!! Just got my 2013 Fo-Sixty as well! Only mod so far is Tesla wheels (which is becoming popular) Coil overs are next! I hope you do a DIY for us!😊
Once you're a Lexus lover, YOU'LL ALWAYS BE A LEXUS LOVER!!! No matter where you go, you have to go back!! Big up bro keep up the excellent content!!🎉🎉
Very nice. I got 2010 460 sport pkg. Looking forward to see what you do with it. I’ve been looking into getting OEM intake resonator to see if it do anything to the sound.
I purchased an 08 LS460 from Copart that had some body damage and changed out the lower control arms. It had 143 miles on the dash at the time of purchase. I drove it from Okla to S. Carolina...NO ISSUES. I definitely got a gem on my hands. I rather spend money making some repairs oppose to making payments for years with the threat of repossession hanging over my head.
Hell yes I could see myself driving that LS460. All I buy is Lexus, they are so reliable. I've had a 2000 GS300, 2005 ES330, 2009 ES350 and currently a 2011 ES350. My wife wrecked the first three, don't ask me about it because I was heart broken each time. I'm thinking about getting an 04-06 LS430.
Awesome vid. I have a 2013 LS460 (bought with 72k, about to hit 80k) and I effing love it. I look forward to seeing what you do with yours. May give me some inspiration from your changes. Did you already install an exhaust? My 460 doesn't sound like that! LOL
Had a '08 460 w/250k miles. Bulletproof engine, other than regular maintenance, only thing I had to change we're front control arm bushings and shocks. AFS sensors tend to go out, but it's negligible.
I had random misfires on my old daily (07 lexus es350) and ans the culprit was a bad upstream o2 sensor . If you take care of everything and still have those CEL codes , try swapping out the o2 sensor. Awesome buy btw ! Always wanted a 460 but in the GS body 👍🏽
Same thing happened to my daily ( 09 GS 350 AWD) Had coils 5 and 6 and all new spark plugs. Mechanic swears it's not the O2 sensor. But it still drives weird and loses power when I go up an incline. Time to move on!
I sold my 13 LS460L (92k miles)in April for a 2020 RX. Man my regret was immeasurable after couple of weeks. LS had some issue such as bad wheel steering. Controls arms and heat didn’t work. All was fixed under extended warranty I bought. It drove like a dream and one of the nicest car I owned. RX was nice but not even close to the driving experience of LS.
Congratz! I saw this car the first time in 2006 in the omen movie. I fell in love with it. I will follow your adventures closely. Thank you for making these videos! Cheers
My advice: keep these cars well maintained and stock. The wooden steering wheel is so nice, and so much more special than those in flagship luxury vehicles nowadays.
True! There aren’t any mods I’d really want to do besides lower suspension and different wheels, but that could kill the ride quality if going the budget route. Definitely easier to keep it stock
My first financed car is a 2010 ls460 lol. I thought it was a basic lexus since im used to seeing is350 fsports etc... at the dealer i sat in it i was like "wow this interior is badass". I pop the hood and im like "it has a damn v8:? I test drove it and it drove like a cloud and had a good amount of power to have fun. Love this car.
I just bought a 2011 ls460l in July. I studied up on them on them before I bought it; read about some of the issues. The car is more beautiful and plush than what I could have imagined, driving or riding it is first class experience. I do have a good mechanic, whatever this car needs I will do because I absolutely love it!
Very nice car I had a ls430. Seems pretty similar to my Infiniti q70L 5.6 awd except not a long wheelbase and little less power but more on the luxury comfy side. I’ve always wanted an ls600hl
Really Nice car! Fluid Film or Woolwax the underbody and rest of the car! It will save that beautiful car for a long time!! How has the LS been since you made the video?
I picked up a 2010 LS460 a month ago. 112,000 miles. Aside from TPMS sensors I haven’t had to do anything. Car drives like a dream. From what I have read if you take care of these cars they can go 400,000 miles or more!
I have a 2016 LS 460. I bought it with 28,000 mi on it 4 years ago. It only has 52,000 on it now. I think you picked a great car and it's also extremely a blessing that you are a mechanic so it makes things even better. You will enjoy this car. I love the color and the wheels. When you're finished with it, make another video. And I love that license plate
I’m definitely gonna keep an eye on this! I’m in the process of picking one up as well, but it’s an ‘08. It’s a coworker friend of mine’s and if he does sell it to me at the price he threw out, it’s going to be a STEAL! I’m going into this knowing full well that I’ll more than likely have to swap to coil overs and/or replace/upgrade the front suspension! I’ve already looked into Figz and everything should come out to around approximately $3,500. The only “down” side is, the car isn’t black…it’s silver! 😩. It’s ok tho, because after is all said and done, if I decide to sell, I’m more than positive that I’ll still be able to break even or possibly make a profit on it! Can’t wait for your future vids! 👍🏼
My dad bought a 2013 LS460 L when it was brand new and ever since then I’ve had a soft spot for them. Kinda sad he sold it a couple years ago but he kept it super clean and it only had 24k miles after 8 years
Yeah bud!! Nice grab! I drive a 2015 GS350 F-Sport AWD, and I love it. I've always thought an LS would be a nice car to graduate to when I'm done (will I ever be?) peeling highway exits at 60 mph... lol. Looking forward to seeing what comes next from you.
I've owned many Lexus cars, multiple LS400s, GS300s, and now a 2018 GS350 F, and I love them. My next car will probably be a new LS500 F, or wait to see what else comes after the LS500.
My wife scored a 2009 with 49,000 miles for 14K bucks. It's like new! Always garaged. Always dealer serviced. Little ol' lady from Pasadena type o' thing (Bev was a true sweetheart). Can't believe our good fortune! If it ever disappeared, I'd look for another in a heartbeat!
My V8 Lexus was almost a last minute choice while shopping for the best new-to-me vehicle. Having owned a 2002 V6 Camry, for over 200,000 trouble-free miles, I was sold on the whole Toyota/Lexus product line. It was obvious how almost all other cars pale in comparison, especially to a Lexus (I worked for a large fleet for 30 years and based on that I never wanted Detroit iron ever again). Having worked on almost every American car over the years, the difference in workmanship, craftsmanship, and engineering expertise between Lexus and literally ANYthing else you could buy , is so glaringly obvious there's almost nothing to compare it to. Even a BMW or Mercedes loses in the long-term. Compare everything but the price to other cars, and Lexus makes a superior product hands down.
That's a successful grown up car. It's decked out enough that people know it's yours and not borrowed. I have an 05 and 06 LS430. The 460 has a little higher cost of ownership but you get that extra HP Also its more modern along with the amenities. Also you know it's a 2013 with 200k miles on it. Most people will assume that it's much newer. I would buy one. Sure thing. I'm going to subscribe, So keep us up to date for the good and if you find things you don't like. Which i can't imagine there's much not to like. The AWD is actually really cool. I live in the South where it doesn't snow. But I'm from Chicago and with a V-8 rear wheel drive in the snow would definitely be sporty.
This model in my opinion is a monster, and I mean that in the best possible way. I have enormous respect for the LS. My color scheme would be very different, but you did good.
Beautiful vehicle. I have the preface lift 460, rwd. One thing you have to watch out for is oil consumption. It’s a common fault in these 460 engines. It just is what it is. Check your dip stick regularly and you should be fine.
The @TheCarCareNut has an older generation, but he has 600k on his, and he basically has everything restored! I love the LS in any generation. You guys should make a video calling on all high mileage mostly stock LS, showing how pretty well built these cars are.

I've replaced 3 or 4 of them. Common failure. Lots of labor. Parts cost is expensive. Not to mention the front control arms that cost 4-5k every 100k miles.
Poor man. Why can’t you afford a new car. Maybe do some overtime
Makes sense…love the GS! Just wanted that v8 🤣
4th gen gs350s are best car ever
I miss my gs now 😢 but the LS is def boss status
Owned my 2is and then a 2013 gs350 and had a 07 460 and 600hl but sold them both because of expensive maintaince required in the near future and so own a 13 and 17 gs350 f sport
The ls had a comfier seat and smooth transmission and engine but the seat and position make your legs very uncomfortable
I have a 2013 GS350 Luxury pkg, I feel like it bridges the gap well between IS and LS. Very happy with the car and hope to own a GSF one day.
For sure. Abs actuator got me on my old IS350. Coolant is nice and full so heat works well. The sunroof part sucks but I think I’m ok for now
I’ve owned many vehicles through the years and I can tell you the LS 460 is the best by far. Gorgeous and smooth.
The available Shimamoku (striped wood) steering wheel takes 38 days to
make by hand. The doors, dash, steering wheel all from a single tree.

Looks like the previous owner swapped the bumper
The wood trim looked really beautiful on camera.
I imagine it looked even better in person!
Just purchased 17 versions and waiting on delivery. Definitely need radio updated, which is why I'm up here looking around
I'm sure it will. Mine is about to reach 300K ! The best car!
Love it man! Really looking forward to this series. Like you i have an IS350 and it's just too small. I've really been eyeing a 460, and not much info on the 13+ models. The GS is a nice compromise but I'm a sucker for luxury barges.
2013+ is definitely the way to go, if you can afford it, as Lexus fixed some issues but they are gas guzzlers and require premium gas.
I had two GS models and really loved them.
The screen and clock look nearly identical to my 2018 lexus es350 at least in design and shape. Its neat to see when lexus continues something in newer cars from the older ones.
I thought the same thing with my 16 es350
200k miles if well taken care of, is nothing for that car
Yeah bo thats alot for any car bro
We have a 4Runner with over 270k. Nothing has brought it to the shop.
Yeah they are solid
200k is fine for a well taken cared of Camry but for a heavy V8 Lexus...that's a lot. Expenses are certainly high for an LS. I know because I had a 2014 LS460.
For a LS that’s a lot…the suspension components cost a lot
Nice video and nice ride. I've been looking for a clean 07 460 for a good price, purchasing mine later today. Can't wait to start upgrading it! I'll be looking out for more of your vids.
I actually want a LS 460
trust me the ls430 is better
Best car ever i love my 2010 LS460
You should definitely get one, I bought a 2011 it had 100,000 mi on it. It is the most beautiful car you will ever have; it is big, powerful, quiet, all class. I will keep mine for many many years.
@@jacobmontes5000how better than 460
Not gonna lie, definitely been looking into these lately.
I’d rather have the V8, and now that I’m used to quite a bit more refinement the 460 would probably work for me, but I guess I needed to start somewhere lol 😝
Glad to see you enjoying the new ride already and looking forward to the content !
13-20 GS is a near perfect daily, reliable, great interior, handles well. Only gripe is mediocre gas mileage and I wish it had about 30-40 more hp
Yea I just picked 13 gs rwd wanted a 13-14 ls460 rwd f sport but it was hard to find I do wish it was the 14 gs350 with the 8 spd but the 6 spd Is pretty decent
@@Jdmtwofortysx The 8 speed is actually slightly slower than the 6 speed 0-60 and can hunt gears sometimes.
There is the Gs400 my Boi They are good. But motor swaps are real 🤷🏾♂️. If not that, you can tune and boost the shit out of the Gs350.
It was either this ls or a brand new Honda AccordI went with the LS and I’m so glad I did
They sell a retro fit Apple CarPlay just do that for interior mod and you got your self a great daily
I’ve had mine for a few months. 2010 AWD LS460. I put a pair of subs in it and added remote start. I love my car. It’s perfect to me
6 months ago, I got a 2010 LS460 with only 51,000 miles on it. I got it really cheap and this car is like new. I am amazed at how nice it is. It has the soft doors close and many other features. I love the Lexus V8. It all stocks, and I want to make some tasteful modifications on it. Any suggestions are welcome.
So glad I found your channel! I bought myself a 2011 AWD LS460 last month 🤝 Excited for the coming content
Huge congrats! 08 ls owner here, looking forward to your updates.
Nice one. I'm from Australia, and I drive a 2010 Toyota Crown Majesta. Same line of vehicles, but Majesta is the flagship model in Japan. Same drive line (1UR and 8 speed auto), amazing car!
Why not replace all the plugs while you were in there though? Quite of bit needed to be removed and you don’t know when they were changed
Love that you're exploring this platform. Being that i currently am an isf owner its nice seeing what its like when you put comfort first and performance second. Honestly with a fatter set of wheels this thing would look even most beast than it already does.
The ls460 can easily fit 20x10.5 rim with 280 tires on the back and 20x9 with 265 on the front
I just discovered them a couple of years ago.😮
east coast guys be funny. "i drove it a long way from here to there so over 200 miles" midwest guys be like damn man that isnt far at all lol
We are spoiled lol
love my 2010 ls460 with the all wheel drive bought it with 107k miles about a year ago, no problems yet, hoping to keep it that way
I just came from 2012 IS 360 to a 2008 LS loving it has low miles drives like a cloud bus also a beast when needed welcome to LS family are you on Club Lexus!
x pipe and secondary cat delete would be a start.
A gooooood start ❤
Fuuuck no. You true type to fuck up a car.
Stock reliability is a better end result though
@@kylepastahaving an exhaust will not negatively effect your reliability
No
Nice to see you back in a Lexus @Misfit Motoring excited for some lexus content again from you.
Yoooo.... That's a badass car. I became a subscriber from this video. Can’t wait to see more videos on it. Good job
Had a ls400 with a back wiper and then to a ls430 with no back wiper. In winter, no back wiper is a deal breaker.
Beautiful car! All of those items are a quick inexpensive fix especially for someone who does their own work. Congratulations!
Welcome!!! Just got my 2013 Fo-Sixty as well! Only mod so far is Tesla wheels (which is becoming popular)
Coil overs are next! I hope you do a DIY for us!😊
Suspension parts wear out quick and cost an arm and a leg. By 13 they fixed the brake actuators i think
Once you're a Lexus lover, YOU'LL ALWAYS BE A LEXUS LOVER!!! No matter where you go, you have to go back!! Big up bro keep up the excellent content!!🎉🎉
100% agree, I'll never consider another brand
Lexus Fam Forever
Very nice. I got 2010 460 sport pkg. Looking forward to see what you do with it. I’ve been looking into getting OEM intake resonator to see if it do anything to the sound.
I got the same one! recently all black rwd
It definitely does. I have 11 sport package. Added magna flow 3 inch cat back and it sounds nothing like it looks 😂
I'm thinking about getting an 04-06 LS430.
im thinking about a the new GS RX and ES maybe; but. V8 sounds good, id want the 13-15’
What a great looking car! Mint condition with those miles 😍 can’t wait to see what you do next with the LS460
I wish the v8 was in the 2014+ IS body style
@@ruskibruski that would have been nice and a great sleeper too lol
@@ruskibruskiIS500?
Same thing happened to my daily ( 09 GS 350 AWD) Had coils 5 and 6 and all new spark plugs. Mechanic swears it's not the O2 sensor. But it still drives weird and loses power when I go up an incline. Time to move on!
@@Constabruity we consider that the 4is even though it's just a facelift lol but 3is 2014-2020 V8 IS would have been nice .
I drive a 2016 460 LS… I love it!
Lexus are great cars, I own a 4Runner and use to have the IS250. Would love to see more videos on this car for sure!
For sure! This is my 4th Lexus sedan 😂 I had a 4Runner, Tacoma and now older Sequoia so I’m with you there!
Ahh why didn’t you sale it to me 😂🥲🥲
That's lexus Ls 460 is a killer. Very beautiful, clean and simple.
Congratz! I saw this car the first time in 2006 in the omen movie. I fell in love with it. I will follow your adventures closely. Thank you for making these videos!
Cheers
Ya I remember Lexus very well in that movie but they were driving GS300 in the movie
Use this as a nice daily, get a nice muffler delete and it’ll be amazing
Your LS has more amenities than a 2023 American vehicle! They are def slept on!
So you went into the LS without knowing anything about it? Pretty bold as these weren’t cheap new.
@CHYZ5 Its still one of my favorite cars i own
I just bought a 2011 ls460l in July.
You did your research on Q...I always see 3.7 the 5.6 is a beast can get 500 hp with bolts
I had a GS 350 and it was the smoothest sedan I ever owned. I'm in a Durango now but this has me intrigued! Sweet Purchase!
Thanks! I’m just a DIY mechanic and I made a whole series on fixing the misfire over that last 8 months
Nice ride, I’ve never even drove a Lexus personally, but i think if i was going to buy one it would be the 460 in black!
My dad bought a 2013 LS460 L when it was brand new and ever since then I’ve had a soft spot for them. Kinda sad he sold it a couple years ago but he kept it super clean and it only had 24k miles after 8 years
Nice car. Are they fairly quick for being a big luxury boat? What would a 0-60 be ? I know it’s not what you would buy a LS460, but just curious.
Yeah I’m not a Lexus guy at all
But I gotta admit I like how that engine bay looks! Every thing hidden like that gives it a nice clean look!
Got a 2008 ls460L this past June with 64,000 miles. Needed new rear shock😢$$$ but I LOVE IT!!! It just hums and floats on the highway.
Big body lexus is the next one we are getting after owning 7 of them you can't go wrong with a lexus even if it has high miles.
Yeah bud!!
Absolute gem! Love it my man!
Congratulations. I recently got a 2010 LS 460. What a beautiful car..
I imported a jdm ls460 2013 to the UK and its awesome...
My dad has a 2011. Control arms and brakes seem to be a recurring problem. Otherwise a pretty solid car.
Hey 👋 from Australia 🇦🇺
I have the same model 2013 LS 460 AWD in Blk. Mine has 120,000 klms.
I imported it from Japan ( new import rules as we didn’t get the AWD version here in Australia so the AWD variant can be imported)
Gorgeous car and drives so smooth as they always do.
I’ve had the 98 ls400,2005 Ls430, 2008 Ls 460 and I currently have a 2008 ISF.
Big Lexus fan as what major things go wrong?
I’ll follow your tinker with the Ls460 and see how far you take it..
Suspension controller, Wheels and an exhaust is all you need to play with on these as they are beautiful just the way they are 🤩
