Thanks for the input sir. It seems there is enough people leaning this way to proceed with a small batch of these. I’m working through a few last tweaks but I think I’ll get them produced early this next year👍
I will buy one if you produce them. I would figure out how many need to be sold to make it worth it. So far the only people I know who are going the sidewinder route are you me and teal. I'm sure more will come on board as many want a brand new engine.
I just installed your throttle parts on my engine and they are so nice! My only question is, how did you remove the stock cable holder so it doesn’t interfere with the short cable running to the bell crank?
I hope that you pursue trying to market your products. I am not sure how much volume you will have but give it a try, get your feet wet with this. Good engineering!
Excellent endeavour 👏 The ‘learnings’ will be in the testing, particularly your first 500 hours. Yup, for long term performance, it does take some time for those hidden problems - if there are any - to show up. As you are probably aware, commercial Aircraft test programs typically run 2,000 hours in order to work through to being able to confirm reliability targets. Your past experience obviously helps reduce risk and thus shortens the testing duration 😉 Great work on your part 👍 It is wonderful to see your progress. Thank you for sharing 🙏
Reach out to me at ( project 2 aircraft @ gmail ).. I do have these and a few other updated things that haven't been released publicly yet.. Most 998T installs out there are using these throttle mechanisms currently.
I've been watching your progress on the Yamaha engine for a while. Great work! Have you ever thought of doing a complete firewall forward engine? If you do I would buy it.
Great idea support the community.
YES! If you have already done so for yourself don't stop there!
Well done. Congrats
Nice work.
More money than brains. I hope you survive this endeavor.
It must suck to be you my friend….
Yes, please.
i think the 998T engine has great promise, i am debating putting it in my highlander build...so I would be interested in the parts

Nice parts 👍
yes please
Nice work!
Yes. I’m gonna need them. Thanks for what your doing
AWESOME 👌
Beautiful work as usual!
Awesome! Definitely will keep this in mind.

Thanks man! Just remove that factory bracket completely.. It’s only a few screws holding it on there and you should be good to go.
The two screws look pretty difficult to get to. Might have to try a 90 degree screw driver.
@@justinmeaders yea they are in there pretty good, but it’s doable. Could always just cut it off if you’d rather do that.
Hahaha! I had already debated just cutting it off. That might happen. Lol!
@@justinmeaders no shame in that.. lol may make access to the screws easier🤷🏻♂️
Those things turned out perfect. Looks smooth to operate.
Go for it. The miata needs som custom project 2 parts in the near future too.
I hope that you pursue trying to market your products. I am not sure how much volume you will have but give it a try, get your feet wet with this. Good engineering!
Thanks Earl👍

Appreciate the input Dave! Thanks for watching sir👍
Forgot to Lazer etch your logo on the parts, other than that, looking pretty sweet.
@@jodycard9489 I machined in logos👍
Love it. You’re an entrepreneur at heart I am sure of it
Absolutely man, would like to build my own kit plane with that engine. Your videos alone make it easier. Make the custom parts available also, wow 🤩
Thanks! We shall see where this goes🤷🏻♂️
Those parts look super sharp!
Clickbait! 😆 parts look great Josh! I'd buy a nice cnc mount for the fuel "cube" transducer.
Hey that’s a good idea! Not sure I’ll get it done in time to get you one, but I’ll start playing with that idea👍
Like them, I’d save the effort and use what you have!
Are you selling the parts yet?

I don’t plan on that at the moment, but it looks like edge is playing with the 3 cylinder now and I’m excited to see what he comes up with👍
I think it would be a great idea to offer these parts as i think this market is only going to grow
Count me in if you decide to start selling them!
Nope. You are not qualified.
Thanks for watching sir👍
