This guy actually uses all Nero's moveset and abilities, especially Table Hopper.
I do too but at the Vergil boss but hands down its the coolest bossfight awaited in history
I find it too hard to use table hopper so i just use the triple jump the devil bringer gives me

the reason it's hard to do table hopper move is bcuz the camera direction keep changing for no reason.. the moment we use left/right input suddenly the camera change its position making us have to put up/down input from the joystick.. it's just crazy confusing
This has taught me a few things.
I suck at table hopper.
Nero's air taunt can be used as an escape or stay in the air a bit for extra mobility.
Gerbera can deflect.
I'm shit at this game.
Same, same, same and same.
With practice you can get good, just practice on the void
How did you not know about air taunt evasion, and gerbera deflect? I mean I can understand thengerbera deflect because it's used only In a hand full of situations, but the air taunt basically functions as another jump. Not. Washing on u, but it affords great mobility
I would like to add:
5. I'm supposed to be Ex-Acting/Max-Acting on every swing?
6. DT activation and Shuffle give you a little window of invincibility I guess
7. Goliath is really vulnerable in the church
8. Seriously, every freakin swing?

People like this are expert players as it requires a MASSIVE amount of endurance, great timing, and most of all - practice. But, I can only WISH I can be at this level.
If Nero actually fights like this, no one would called him a dead weight

@@rustylewis5426 taunts in the air with Nero is a "3rd jump" and can be used to perform a max exceed apparently

@@rustylewis5426 I haven't been able to get max exceed so don't @ me on that lol but regarding dashing across it was probably a simple lock-on + push forward Melee attack like (R1 + forward Triangle/ RB + Forward Y)

I never intentionally executed table hopper in this game, and I beat it in 3 difficulties up to SOS
Dude I wasted like 90% of mine fighting Virgil on son of sparda. I guess I'm just bad a dodging, but I swear Vergil felt like being a dick that day and wiped the floor with me.
DMC5 is like the go-to for new players. It plays smoothly and provides just enough leverage for the new and challenge and difficulty for the veterans

Honestly wanted to see how high of a score I could get on the virgil's boss fight on dmd. This video got me to 8300 (around), with an ending score of 20128 (with no hit and no checkpoint multiplier). Thanks my guy, made a nice guide!

Good little tip on the demon king for anyone who dosn't know, if you time it right and hit the fire ball with the sword you can send it back at urizen and do dmg to the crystal
I only remember being able to reflect the fireball that Phantom and the magma dragon thing that Mundus summons back at them but I didn't know that you could do it with Urizen too

In the beginning of the game you're supposed to lose the fight and that instantly made me think of SmvR, also lots of reflex parries and counters in this game. It's still pretty fascinating to watch this and see how fast you take away an eighth of the boss's health. I was new to DMC and played on Human first time around, so seeing you defeat bosses who I had trouble with in literal seconds is pretty incredible.
fastest way to S rank Vergil with speed clear S +1000 points
with Nero, mission 20
ragtime.
stock up all 8 arm slots with only ragtime.
as you know ragtime's basic move isnt good. but his breaker age if thats what its called...hold O till arm glows, release, it breaks his arm but gives you that godlike 10 second time slowdown.
ok.
get into his first stagger into buster state. as that cinematic is playing where they are both hitting each other, charge up ragtime. hold O button.
the instant the cinematic ends, release ragtime breaker age.
you now have 10 full seconds to DT and do his DT super.
that does tremendous damage and gives you tons of style points.
rinse. repeat.
when vergil is charging to do his dive move that you must buster...you can actually charge and release ragtime. and stagger him out of it before he launches the move.
if he manages to start it up before you can catch him in a time slowdown.
wait until he just about to dive while putting more distance between you and him.
and release ragtime breaker age.
run up to his diving body and buster.
if you are very lucky you might pull off a DT into DT super while he is diving. tho risky.
anyway.
ragtime makes mission 20 S rank...easy.
and fast. got a speed clear S +1000 point for how fast i beat Vergil.
as for Dante.
the fastest i found was to use Gunslinger + FAUST HAT.
when you 1st stagger him, gunslinger+forward+O. does red orb asteroids. remember to charge it.
The Vergil fight was unreal it looked choreographed lol
At the very end of the fight with Vergil when Nero slams him with his own... Thing... Never knew he shouted out jackpot... I like that
