Nice tutorial 🔥 I love seeing the detail and wrap worlds colliding. We use the 30 degree version of the olfa blades in our shop, gives us a better cutting angle.
I have some of the 30s too that i use when weeding vinyl, ill have to try them on my next wrap.

This is clutch. I’ve always thought about wrapping smaller areas on my own but never quite knew which was reputable seller without the high price point. It definitely seems like one of those things anyone can do it’s just a matter of not being afraid of making mistakes and taking your time. Truck looks great so far

Great Video Jeff. But I have to ask. and Of course I understand people have different likes. Maybe because im an old guy LOL. But im not sure I understand the desire to black things out. Ive never asked anyone why before. Definitely no offense meant. curious.

No offense taken, for me i think the chrome looks out of place or busy on many of the cars where ive decided to delete it.
My 2024 clubman is entirely green with a white roof and black accents for the pillars, grille, etc, then there is one random piece of silver trim that wraps around the center of the car under the windows, same thing on my 2016 which was grey and red.
On this mercedes there is definitely more, but you look at the side of the car for example and there is a chrome strip down the middle of the door and the door is white with black accents, it just feels like a random piece of chrome for the sake of sticking something on there. Then the window trims are brushed aluminum, and the wheels are a clearcoated aluminum and you end up looking at the side of the car and seeing 3 different finishes of silver trim that are inconsistent.
There are brands that do chrome well, on something like a classic car with chrome bumpers and wheels where its a consistent theme i think it can look really good.
@improvedgarage Thank you, Jeff. Really appreciate your time and explanation. I see lots of vehicles where people go to all efforts and completely make over a vehicle to black out everything from wheels, trim, emblems, grills, and more. I just never quite understood the desire. I'd suspect my age and time I grew up with vehicles from the 60s and 70s is partially cause. My tuck has chrome emblems, chrome grill, and trim. But a mix of some black here and there. It's definitely what I like. Do I dislike the blacked out look. On some vehicles, yes. Some no. Just never got the opportunity to ask anyone why they do it or what they like about it. I know some folks that remove any and every badge from a vehicle. I know it's all personal preference. But my mind is intrigued by peoples reasons out of curiosity. Again. Thank you a ton. Btw I think yours looks good. Really appreciate your explanation
