Which would you chose? The GV60 or the electrified GV70?

I bought the GV60 Advance 6 months ago. It's been amazing and it still turns a lot of heads on the road and I get a lot of people coming up to me at the charging stations. I use the face recognition all the time. The fingerprint sensor doesn't always work the first time for me, but it works. Everything else is just so well designed -- the storage under the center console, the drawer instead of a glove box, the crystal ball for a gear shifter that lets you know easily when the car is on or off, the premium materials and lack of any gloss black plastic inside the car, the remote control from the key fob... My only issue is the range. I would like the range on EVs to be over 300 standard, especially given that the range drops by 25% in cold weather and you're not supposed to charge it regularly over 80%. Still, the charging is fast enough that it doesn't bother me that much.

I agree it is a great car but range is an issue on all cars right now and is the only dissapointing factore in modern EVs unless they are in the very expensive band.

I bought one of the very first 2022 GV70 3.5 Sport Prestige's back in November2021, would buy it again tomorrow. To me, EV's are a generation away with rapidly changing battery technology and lack of standardization. Between the two I would easily pick the electrified GV70, don't care for the GV60 styling, but I'm waiting a few years before considering any EVs.

The GV60 is 4.515m long giving 432L boot space but making it incredibly practical for typically small UK multi-storey car park and UK city parking bays and anyone with a limited space driveway or parking allocation. The GV70 is 20cm longer at 4.715m ( nearly 8 inches ) which affords it greater boot space 503L.
The GV70 has a more traditional design and an opening sun roof.
It is a close call but if a cavernous boot is not necessary and a non-opening sun roof doesn’t detract then I would say the GV60 is a compelling choice - bespoke platform and the efficiencies that affords.

The GV60 is smaller but still packs lots of space and practicality.

Very good review , I have a GV 60 and agree with all you say , now I live in BC Canada we only have a choice of 2 GV60's Advance and Performance the only real difference is the boost and drift mode wheel size , in Canada they both come with the same high end interior . I test drove both and bought the Advance to be honest you only would know the difference when you push the boost button. I really wanted to go for the range , in the summer i get just over the 300miles in the winter range drops 20 to 25% . Here in BC we have lots of good charging stations and a lot of them are still free . Would I buy a Genesis again a 100% yes .

That makes sense. You are right to say they are very similar and amazing quality in every trim.

I'm still completely torn. I like the looks and interior better on the 70. But I'm still leaning 60 performance because the interior space is better for the kids, wife's bag, kids snack bags, etc. Don't need the trunk space as much. But then the 70 looks sooo much better to me.
Does the GV60 drive much smaller and handle better? It may all come down to driving. Test driving both tomorrow hopefully

I prefer the way the GV60 feels both driving and interior design, but let me know what you think.

Great review, but the winter part at the end is irreverent. Many other awd gas or Ev can distribute power to wheels independently if it gets stuck. Many also can’t, it depends on the awd system, and it’s design for power distribution.

Thanks! All wheel drive due to having front and rear motors gives you an advantage in snow and ice that a front wheel only vehicle doesn’t have although it comes at the cost of some range over a single motor EV.

The names are above the incorrect cars…..
