Love your TN!!! Sine i like mine too, i use my TN as a regulat journaland brain dump, also another notebook is for my glue journal. I also have a sketchbook and art jourbals in a composition notebook and alternated book
@@notablyemilyI love the TN, I don't buy the notebooks, I just take the paper, fold it in half, wrap in the thin cardboard, and cut to the size. Really convenient and cheap! I don't even bind it, if I need it, I take the round elastic, and put it in the middle to fold it, or sew it on a sewing machine. But mostly I don't even bother to do it. So I could have: a graph notebook for the bujo, a sketchbook with blank pages, my glue book-art journal, and my brain dumb notebook made out of old avon free catalog (I write right on the glossy pages, so no one can read it 🤣🤣🤣) So in total, I could have everything in one TN😂
@@katsmith8263 That is so cool!! I've also made my own inserts in the past, it's so fun being able to use the exact paper you want or reuse paper that you would have otherwise thrown away!🙂
Thank you for this great video. This is so relatable. Been watching a lot of techo kaigi slash journalling slash bujo vids and I'm not a big planner type of girl, I love a to-do list but not daily, hence I have a lot of half-filled bujos and has been repurposing them as catch-alls, and I ain't happy with 'em lol. But I love my travel journal and journal too. I love how you decide to separate memory keeping and journalling about your rants etc., I learned something new that I could apply to my system. Thank you so mucho 🤍
You’re so welcome! Being in that stage where you’re not happy with your system can be tough so I hope you can find a good balance soon :) It took me a couple months to land on this setup so I hope it works !! 🤞
I really like watching other people's techo kaigi! Yours looks very good! Very well though. And, as long as it's working for you, 5 is definitely not too many. I used to have 9 at some point but now I'm only sticking with 3 (bujo, journal, and reading journal) and so far so good. I kind of miss having all the different pages and textures of other notebooks, though.
@@4061earthabcdesong Yeah, 9 all at once. I was attending a bookbinding workshop at that time, and even though I would give some of the notebooks I made to family and friends, I would still end up with 3/4 new notebooks a month. So, honestly, it was more like an excuse to use the notebooks than anything. They were a bujo, a journal, a junk journal, a travel journal (kind of, it was mostly about spending one day a week to visit a new place in the Capital city with friends), a one line a day journal, a tea journal (as a tea lover I would write down new teas I tried, where to get them, my thoughts on them, etc. I'm still using it but didn't count it as my current journal since it's not one I would use as much now), a reading journal, a kpop journal and a shared journal (not sure how to call it. It was a journal I would share with a friend. I would fill it one week, then it would be hers to complete. It was very interesting and a good way to share things with a friend if you're like me, not good at sharing feelings and inner thoughts).
Nice video !! The fun thing about the undyed leather is that (if exposed to the sun consistently) it will end up darking to the color of you brown TN haha 😅😅 It can get so dark!! I know it from the undyed leather sandals I wear every summer !! The final color is like they were dyed dark brown from the start ❤
@@notablyemily hm not sure, usually spots still show when it darkens but it will darken for sure if you leave it under the sun! It will get until at least the level of darkness of a dark camel TN if not brown 🤎 😄
Thanks so much! It's an old Moleskine from 5-6 years ago, this is the closest one they sell currently: tinyurl.com/moleskinecahier! I don't recommend it for fountain pen users but I wanted to repurpose it from my stash. I added the link to it and my other journals in the description too, thank you for the reminder! :)
I thought about the 5 year joinal, but i just know that i won't be able to write there everyday. So, maybe once a week it's possible. Also i have mostly unused hobonichi weeks, which i don't want to use as a planner. I thought about usinf the weekly spread for this 5 year journal: i could white out the dates, and use each day for once in a week journaling, which would be equal to 7 years journal. I also could use tge right page for another 7 years journaling. I also will have the pages in the back left, and if i use them for journal, then it would be not just more 14 years, but-hiw many pages are tgere? 240? -28 years if journsling all in one book 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Omg hahaha that would take forever to fill!! You could always disregard the dates and just use it as one long page to write about your week so you fill it up faster :)
Sure!! I received it as a generous gift from a friend, but I can say it's from Strideridge! This one has a back pocket and three card slots at the front as well (although to be honest I don't use them for much!) It's so beautiful and has held up extremely well despite me not being gentle with it. It's handmade by the owner of Strideridge and they have a ton of different leather products on their website. Definitely recommend!
Is having 5 journals in my system too many?? 😅😳
See more of my journal spreads in my flip through video! ua-cam.com/video/VdE_XStcHTY/v-deo.html
5 journals is fine. I use a similar number, although I prefer filofaxes in case I need to add more writing to a previously written page.
I'll be honest I feel like it's the first time I found a journalist whose work I love and seems sane to me....😅 Immediately subscribed 💐✨
Thank you so much!! So happy you’re here 💝💫
Like your several journals with different purposes. Also, like your purple nail polish 😊
Thank you so much! 💝 It’s from Mooncat, an indie polish company that I love!
Thanks for sharing your line up Emily. It’s always fun to see how other people journal. I use 5 journals and 2 planners to keep me organized.
I agree! I love watching other people’s videos about their setups, I feel like there’s always something to learn. Sounds like a solid system! 🤩

Very nice Emily ❤. And i am ordering the watercolour insert too as I am into watercolouring now ❤

Hi F1oren... could u pls tell us more about those nine journals? You mean 9 all at once? What were their different purposes? Cheers 😊

Hello thankyou for this video. Can I ask are the little photos you have, done on a mini printer ❤ x
Yes I use an Instax Mini photo printer, the film is expensive but I really love it 😊
