Hey, I’m not going to lie I’m not very associated and aware of what Jadon’s are, but I was hoping if you could let me know the name for these shoes online. Thank you:)
Hi @@leo-un1hw maybe I can help, because I just bought them today I’m not sure if it’s different for each country but I wear a US 11. Ik it could be a little confusing. But what I would recommend you do is either if you can try to try them on in stores (I know it’s a little bit challenging because of Covid) if not if you typically have a wider foot I would say stay true to size but if not then I would recommend to go one size lower. Because I could’ve fit in a size below but because my feet are so wide I had to stay with my size. Hope that help:)
i got my jadon’s 2 years ago and they still look brand new ! i get my docs in my regular size and have never had to break them in ! they fit perfectly every time with zero pain ! i suggest (if they are not to big) to go for your regular size in your other shoes and just purchase / use doc boot socks or an insole :)
Abigail Aries that’s amazing! Dr. Martens stay new for a long time because the leather is smooth and really easy to keep clean. The insole and boots socks are great if your docs are a little bit big. Great tip! Thank you!
Little story for people still struggling whether they should buy them or not: in January this year I was forced to walk in deep wet mud and I was wearing these shoes. I thought I wasn't gonna fix them ever again. Well, depression came in my way so I didn't have the motivation to fix them. It was until today that I thought about them again. I didn't have much hope as they were still covered in mud but I wanted to at least try cleaning them to see if there'd be any way to make them look presentable again. So I threw them in my bathtub, put on some water, rubbed them with a wet towel (took me 5min all in all) and I was shocked. They look as if I just bought them. The leather is beautiful and everything is just as new. Before January I've walked in them almost everyday, I ran in these shoes, I had animals picking on them with their claws, I've spilt alcohol or sticky beverages like Cola over them countless times and they look perfect. I know these are very expensive and I couldn't have afforded them myself (someone gifted them to me), but if you have the money BUY THEM!
Oh but on another note. My feet are very small and slim and those shoes hurt like shit the first 3 MONTHS I wore them. I had blisters all the time and my feet were bleeding through my socks. I didn't care as they were beautiful. Idk my body got used to it and now they're very comfortable.
I love my Jadons! They are comfortable but man are they heavy heavy. But the quality is so nice!. You do have to wear them a bit to get used to the weight. They didnt need that many wears to break in.
They are heavy!! Yes, you need to used to them because they are so heavy and bulky but that's also why I love them. They look so cool!! Interesting that it didn't take you that much time to break them in. Did you get a size bigger than your usual size? So curious.. Thank you!
@@actuallyXanh I wonder if its because they were pretty big so I put an extra insole in them which made my foot come up some. I also dont really lace them very tight because I like to be able to move my ankle as I walk. I didnt even wear socks when I was wearing them around the house. I feel like they pull my sock down and they bunch a bit in my boot which drives me nuts lol!
Wow, I can’t believe you don’t even wear socks with them! Haha. That’s awesome! I think sizing up might be the reason why they don’t hurt. Very interesting...

I love my docs I wore them for the 1st time for New Year’s Eve I honestly thought my feet were gonna hurt because so many people say about having to get then worn out before they start to feel comfortable, but to my surprise they were comfortable right of the bat and yes you’re right about the whole feeling weird and strange when you’re walking around haha 😂. how often did you wear them? If you wore them a lot than I suggest buying another pair. Maybe you should get another color like white or black to change it up a bit!
Such an informative video, I must admit, and entertaining as well! Great job, girl. I believe you offered us all some great advice concerning sizing, practicality, and application. When I watch reviews, advice, etc. regarding Dr. Martens, I always hear the same stuff over and over again and it creates a lot of confusion for those who have never purchased or owned a pair of Docs before and I find myself responding to some people's questions because not all feet shapes are the same therefore not everyone should downsize or have to choose a different style due to the lack of clarity of some advice. BUT you, you stated what worked best for you versus claiming "this" is what "we/you" should do. THANK YOU! 🤍🤍 FYI, I own the Jadons in black and white (size 8 because I have wide feet so rather than choosing 7 because I am a true 7 1/2, I rounded it up for extra wiggle room), the sandals (size 7 because they run large), the Molly style (once again size 8) and the 1460 unisex cut (size 7, because found the width more comfortable vs the women's cut 7). I hope this helps anyone who has wide feet and struggle.
Your comment made my day! thank you so much!! I aim to give people the best advice from MY own experiences and what worked for me. Thanks for your input on what size worked for you! it seems like your size is different for each style. Very helpful! 😊
The Jadon’s are beautiful but the thought of breaking them in makes me want to cry 🤣 I’m a big baby and have 3 pairs of the 1460 Pascal’s and one pair of platform Chelsea boots (limited edition 1990’s re-edition)

I had to go a size up too, as per the advice of the dr marten store expert. She said if your toes are already at the top of the shoes, it’ll always be that way because they don’t expand forward, only sideways! I’ve never been able to break in my pascal Virginia for this reason! X
I had them in 38 and I’m usually a 38.5 and they were always too small, so I sold them and got them in 39 and they‘re a little big, should I keep the bigger ones ?
I love Jadons! Comfortable, fashionable and cute. They make an outfit look so much more Dressy and chic. Personally I have never gotten blisters and I think it is mainly because I wear 2 pairs of long socks when I wear them. Also, wear them as much as you can and you’ll break them in quicker. They shouldn’t be painful or cause extreme throbbing and soreness (might mean you got a size too small) but expect some pressure when you first wear them. My first pair of docs and only pair at the moment and I’m loving them. Mashallah and alhamdullilah ❤️
These boots are quite heavy😩 I wear a 8.5 us you definitely need to size down to a 7 the 8 was too big on me. I have a slim foot. In regular docs I got an 8 and the fit perfect feels great with thick socks. Surprisingly they did not need breaking in🙌🏾 I wear them about 3 times a week while at work. Not one blister😆
I hate the fact that there are no doc martens in South Africa. I could buy them online but import tax is hefty. Fortunately, I am visiting the UK in July but I cannot wait to get these lovely shoesss 😍
What size do you wear and what size will you buy I'm glad I'm seeing a South African comment.. I want to size up cause I'm buying them online but people keep saying it's best if you buy your size I'm a size uk6 btw
I have super narrow feet but not the smallest size. 40 EU). Which is on the bigger side for women generally. I bought these in my size and they fit perfectly but my toes kept touching the hard front while walking. So I had to return them and look for a size bigger. The size bigger fits great, but if you have narrow feet like me its going to feel pretty loose around your feet which sucks a bit. I really really love them so I’ll wear them anyway. But I wish Martens would have half sizes or narrow feet options so that it would be easier to get the right option.
I just got my very first pair of docs, which are the platform Jadons. I already have super long limbs, so they make me look like a giant lmao. But I absolutely LOVE them, and they’ve been my dream boots for a long time.
just gorgeous, they look great on you. I just bought my first pair of 1460s soft yesterday ,and the top of my feet is killing me today. i'm not sure why the top seems presses down so hard on my feet. everywhere else the boot feels good.
@@actuallyXanh they are very special, I have seen no one wear them yet and they are my third pair of Dr. Martens. So yeah, I think the wait was worth it
Mine does too but it went away after a few times wearing it. Some people have been saying baby powder works. I've never tried it but it sounds interesting. Haha
I’ve been wearing docs since I was about 11 and Jadons are the BEST shape style cut whatever. Perfect platform size and I love the zip sm. I prefer them to classics!!!!!!
Those plattform boots, Jadon honestly look fire. The smooth shiny leather looks awesome. Have bought my own pair of Jadons a few weeks ago and im obsessed haha. Sadly larger feet dont look that nice in them. Glad im an EU40 and they are soo cute
Went to the store and my feet are uk6 size, I tried the jaden boots on and it fits very well for me. But the seller insisted or even RECOMMENDED me to get the uk5 instead cuz they said it’s preferable to get a smaller size for jaden boots. Idk but in my gut i dont think uk5 is for me, got blisters and bleeding thru my socks on my achilles 3 times now and worn them at home a couple times and start losing hope. But i think they start stretching a wee bit and its been 2 months since i bought them. Just keep try em on at home. ALSO LISTEN TO YOUR GUT IF IT DIDNT FEELS RIGHT! Also bend the back ankle area of your boots which helps, I actually squashed it w my foot cuz i had enough waiting for it to loose😂 it works but again takes time for it to completely gain a good fit boot without hurting your feet.
Your review is so helpful because I was about to pull the trigger. I know I am supposed to try it on but with the COVID situation, it is unlikely. Have you had an experience with church boots?
Not sure where you are located, but I just tried them on and bought them at the Glendale Galleria in California. Some stores allow you to try on shoes, incase you were wondering.
i just got a pair of jadon's, i already had a pair of doc martens in the 1460 8-Eye Bex Buckle Boot but as i have size 8 uk feet (female) they looked like clown shoes but the jadon's made my feet look smaller somehow so i instantly fell in love with them!
The sales people in the store wanted to persuade me to get the jadon...but I got the 1460s with the max plateau sole because some things about the jadons bothered me (like the zipper, I didn't want the zipper). And in my mind the jadons and 1460s look different (not only the soles).😅
So I've had my 1460s pair for 11 years now (!) and I am thinking of getting Jadons but I'm hesitant because of the platforms. Are they suitable for a long day of walking?
Im also a 7 but i tried the size 7 and they were still big so i got a size 6 and thy fit me pretty good and also keep in mind leather stretches so they will streach out once you break them in :)
I have the rometty boots which have a heel and platform and love em, they’re more edgy than elegant in my opinion. I also have the 1460s with the slim sole and I love them, they look great with everything and are more elegant looking while looking edgy.
Would you mind sharing which model of Jadon boot is exactly? There are a few to choose from online just want to make sure they are the same ones as we have similar height and fit I think. Thank you so much ❤️
I just ordered a pair it will be my first time ever owning Dr Martin boots so I’m excited !!!! I’ve always wanted a pair , I own the chunky sandals by DR.M n they are really comfortable so I thought why not get some boots for winter lol also great review this vid sold me ❤️!
Are these good for the snow? I’m going on a little snow trip and I just got these and I’d love to rock these but I’m not sure if they’ll maintain in the snow !:)
I wear them when it snows in the city! it depends on what you are doing in the snow. If your walking in deep snow, your feet will get wet. But in the city or driveway, if the snow is being shoveled.. they will work great!
They look wider than the pisa plateaus, which have a thinner leather though - no breaking in which is a pro, BUT I have quite wide feet. Do you own or have tried the pisas?
Dr Martens are probably my favorite brand and Clarks is my other favorite boots brands. I have five pairs. I like the leather 1460’s better. I have a black and a brown pair. I’m 5’5” too
How do they hold up in rain and snow, I’m wanna buy them but I don’t want my feet to be soaking wet evry time I wear them in the autumn/winter .And your video was super helpful so thank you
How do these compare to the BEX boots? I just bought the 1460’s again. Had my first pair in high school. What is it like to break in the Jadon’s? I bought the 1460 in a size larger than recommended because of the tightness. I still needed to use the Freezer method to break them in. Once I wear the 1460’s in, I would like to get the BEX or the Jadon.
I wanna buy ones but I'm scared. Is gonna be my first pair and I'm kinda scared with the size thing... i wanted to buy from the official store but idk if i can return them if i need a different size and i live in center america so idk 😭😭😭
I would suggest to ppl to try them on. I was going to order them, drove to famous footwear and I tried this pair on. I am 2 sizes from my true 7. 😳 So just try them on if you can 😌
Hi great video! :) I just got a pair of jadons for the first time and My tongue on one of the boots doesn't sit straight it's slanted to one side. I tried lacing them differently but it still keeps moving. Was wondering if u knew any tips to fix the tongue problem
Can't decide if I want fur lined! I am in Canada, but don't want to restrict myself from wearing in the summer. @Actually Anh, what are your thoughts? I guess I can buy removable fur inserts for the summer?
I bought my first DM last week, I usually wear 7 and I ordered 7. But I think that is a little big for me. Any suggestion? Because I can't return them because I'm in another country now. Thanks!!
Just got these for christmas 🙌🏾 theyre heavy but worth it lol. im a 6.5 and might have made a mistake getting a 7 but oh well. I can return them if need be.
ugh i love the jadons but they’re so expensive, i ended up getting 1919 mid calf’s still excited!! but my next doc purchase will def be the jadons r so cute and i’m short so love the height boost!!
Hey girl..Im size 6 and accidentally ordered size 7(I cant return them) they fit well with insoles tho what im worried about is they look big when seen. will i be able to adopt the look and other people too?
I love the chunky platforms because they give me a little extra boost in the height department. I’m 5’2 btw. I have the white Jadons and a few pairs of the Jadon Max.
I really want these boots but not sure about sizing. I ask around and everyone says size down for the jadon platforms because they run big. Im a true 6.5 woman, do you recommend me getting a womans 5 or 6
Hiii☺️ Great videos! I want to order the Jadon Doc Martens with fur in but i was wondering: i’m 1m71 (5’7 i think) and a bit overweight, and I am scared that, as they are really big boots, they would make my legs bigger. What do you think? 🥰
To break em in I’d say u should wear em to the store, then after some time take em on a long hiking trail. Try to tolerate em enough then when u can’t take any more just put a different pair of shoes on if u brought a 2nd pair with u. I don’t have any yet, but when the boots I want are in stock on Amazon ima purchase a pair. What’s funny is that Doc says that all their boots are unisex so if u want a pair of boots that are in women’s sizes only anymore just get 1 size up. Ima 10, if & when they’re in stock I’d be getting a size 11.
I have the Jadon vegan version. They're better to break in than leather ones. I wear a size 14 so in my size they look more like a combat boot than a platform shoe but I still get the 6cm height increase so that's nice.
I am a size 7.5, what size should I get? I am so lost. I would go into a store, everything is lockdown. Thank you!! And do you think I could wear the jadons everyday if I wanted? And I am normally 5"5/5"6, do these make you too tall? And are they similar to timberlands? Sorry for the questions and thanks again
Sarah D'Lima I think you should get a size 38 but I’m not sure. Get it from a website that you can return! Don’t worry about looking too tall. There’s no such thing. You’ll look like a model! Haha. I’ve never tried timberland so I don’t know but timberland looks softer since they are not leather. I hope that helps!
It’s kinda hard to tell but are those the ones that look and feel kinda like rain boots? I got jaden ones but I didn’t like how they looked like rubbery? Maybe I got the wrong ones
Hello! I’d really like to buy Jadon, but I was wondering… my feet are wide, not slim and I’m 37.5 (UK size 5)… since we are in quarantine I am not able to try them before buying and should I size them down? Or insole? Maybe size up?
I think you should size up! You’ll wear socks and they will fit perfect! You’d rather have them a little big rather than too small. They will hurt if they are too small
@@actuallyXanh FYI, my Jadons came, I ordered the size you recommended and I’m very happy with the results. Thank you so muchhhh for helping out, especially during the lockdown!
@@minozico599 hello! So far I’m happy with the boots. I wore like 3 times and walked for too long with them. When I wear thin socks the boots would hurt my feet because my feet have space in them since the boots are a little bigger than my size. The back side of my feet developed blisters everytime I wore but nothing too bad. It was still annoying though… However, I wore two socks today and I’m writing these to you with Jadons on my feet. I’m very pleased because it’s not causing any problems anymore! I guess wearing extra socks did the trick. So if you are fine with wearing extra socks I’d say go for size 6! It fits perfectly now and does not hurt at all.
More snug, you can get boots stretched half a size or more for 8-20 bucks. Too big and they will only stretch more, you’ll feel like your flopping around in your dads shoes. I got mine more true to size and can still double up on socks.

I had them in 38 and I’m usually a 38.5 and they were always too small, so I sold them and got them in 39 and they‘re a little big, should I keep the bigger ones ?
imma actually buy a pair next week, I've been saving for a pair of Jadons the one with 10 eye.. wish me luck..
Good luck!! They are super cute!!
I know, thanks for this review, and you're so cute
I have the 1460 rib 8 eye and I love mine! So comfortable once I start breaking them in. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have those too!! I love them. I love all docs. haha ☺️
What’s your size please
Not one blister😆
that's awesome! I'm glad you didn't have to break them in. They are pretty heavy but it just takes some time getting used to. ☺️
As someone who’s from the Northeast, this boots are a must! Very good during colder months.
Yess i love these for the cold!
You should be a sponser because you really convinced me! 😂
I hate the fact that there are no doc martens in South Africa. I could buy them online but import tax is hefty. Fortunately, I am visiting the UK in July but I cannot wait to get these lovely shoesss 😍
What size do you wear and what size will you buy
I'm glad I'm seeing a South African comment.. I want to size up cause I'm buying them online but people keep saying it's best if you buy your size
I'm a size uk6 btw
I have super narrow feet but not the smallest size. 40 EU). Which is on the bigger side for women generally. I bought these in my size and they fit perfectly but my toes kept touching the hard front while walking. So I had to return them and look for a size bigger. The size bigger fits great, but if you have narrow feet like me its going to feel pretty loose around your feet which sucks a bit.
I really really love them so I’ll wear them anyway. But I wish Martens would have half sizes or narrow feet options so that it would be easier to get the right option.
Love dr martens. Jadons are my favorite have 4 pairs in different colours.
To all you tall people im 5ft 8" and i lurve them 😍😍
Yes!!! 👏🏻
I just got my very first pair of docs, which are the platform Jadons. I already have super long limbs, so they make me look like a giant lmao. But I absolutely LOVE them, and they’ve been my dream boots for a long time.
Thank you!! This helps so much also because we have the same size shoe and I was wondering what size to get ❤️
Yay! I’m glad I was able to help!
just gorgeous, they look great on you. I just bought my first pair of 1460s soft yesterday ,and the top of my feet is killing me today. i'm not sure why the top seems presses down so hard on my feet. everywhere else the boot feels good.
I'm nervous getting Jadon ones now... hehe i have never owned a pair yet but really want some!!
I just bought the Jadon Strap, I waited a year for it to come back and suddenly one pair was available again and I snatched
Quinn Kohlhoff oh wow, that’s a long time. was worth the wait?
@@actuallyXanh they are very special, I have seen no one wear them yet and they are my third pair of Dr. Martens. So yeah, I think the wait was worth it
My Jadon boots are so comfortable but they seem to squeak ever so often when I’m walking 😭
Mine does too but it went away after a few times wearing it. Some people have been saying baby powder works. I've never tried it but it sounds interesting. Haha
Same
I’ve been wearing docs since I was about 11 and Jadons are the BEST shape style cut whatever. Perfect platform size and I love the zip sm. I prefer them to classics!!!!!!
Me too!! I love the platform! They look so edgy!
I ADORE the Jadons (still have to buy a pair) but I have a pair of 1460 sequin Pascals and I'm OBSESSED
Great review thank you so much I’m usually a size 9 or 8 1/2 what size would you suggest
Your review is so helpful because I was about to pull the trigger. I know I am supposed to try it on but with the COVID situation, it is unlikely. Have you had an experience with church boots?
Just buy it online at retailer that allows free returns. I’ve never tried church boots. Are they nice?
Jadon’s look great on you! X
Thank you!! 🥰
I gotta admit I not a big fan of the zipper on the side. That's why I prefer the Audrick model.
I got the bex because I liked the chunky look but I wasn't sure about the Jadon's in terms of daily wear
freedompiggies such a good point. The Jadon is a lot heavier so I don’t wear it everyday
Hiii do you wear them during summer ? I am hesitating with the bex 1460 or the jadon but not sure I will wear them during summer
Where did you buy those socks which fit perfect with dr.martens
So I've had my 1460s pair for 11 years now (!) and I am thinking of getting Jadons but I'm hesitant because of the platforms. Are they suitable for a long day of walking?
No I wouldn’t say so .They are really heavy
Yes once broken in
I really want to get doc marten's but I don't know my size for their shoes im a 7 Usa woman!
A R L E R T I would get a size 7! It’s runs true to size. I hope that helps.
Im also a 7 but i tried the size 7 and they were still big so i got a size 6 and thy fit me pretty good and also keep in mind leather stretches so they will streach out once you break them in :)
@@stephaniecorona8632 Thanks!
I’m 5’5” too
Clarks are also amazing!!!! Such a classic boot 😍.
May i know what size do you wear for this boot if you are 5’5” and what size do you wear on sneakers like nike
How do they hold up in rain and snow, I’m wanna buy them but I don’t want my feet to be soaking wet evry time I wear them in the autumn/winter .And your video was super helpful so thank you
Did you ever use dr marten balm to break yours in? I bought a size down as my normal size was huge
What size did you get
How do these compare to the BEX boots? I just bought the 1460’s again. Had my first pair in high school. What is it like to break in the Jadon’s? I bought the 1460 in a size larger than recommended because of the tightness. I still needed to use the Freezer method to break them in. Once I wear the 1460’s in, I would like to get the BEX or the Jadon.
I wanna buy ones but I'm scared. Is gonna be my first pair and I'm kinda scared with the size thing... i wanted to buy from the official store but idk if i can return them if i need a different size and i live in center america so idk 😭😭😭
If they are your first pair than wait until you can try them on. Or buy them online and make sure you can return it.
I am choosing between jadons and 1460 bex. Do you have any advice? There will be my first pair
I think you should get the Jadon boots. Personally, I think they are easier to style. ☺️
So glad I watched this review before buying my docs ! Thank youuu :)
So happy you liked my video!
Thank you for the review. I just ordered the classic doc martins (1460).
I would suggest to ppl to try them on. I was going to order them, drove to famous footwear and I tried this pair on. I am 2 sizes from my true 7. 😳
So just try them on if you can 😌
Hi great video! :)
I just got a pair of jadons for the first time and My tongue on one of the boots doesn't sit straight it's slanted to one side.
I would get it without the fur so it's more wearable. It will be more versatile without the fur. Just my opinion :)
@@actuallyXanh I think so! I asked Dr. Marten's to send me the removable fur insert, stay tuned.
found this right after I bought them😂
So exciting! How do you like yours?
@@actuallyXanh I meant ordered haha ordered em for Christmas so not able to open em till Christmas or Christmas Eve lmao
@@actuallyXanh I LOVE THEM SO MUCH🤍🤍
as a tall person, I like the flatter sole, at already 6ft4, my friend tells me to stop wearing my docs next to her as I always make her look small
Is Jadon made in Vietnam? Is it as durable as the ones made in England? Thank you
Which ones did she get? They’re so cute!
I think the chunky ones are a much better statement and overall looks nicer. However, they where much much harder to break in than the original.
I agree!! I like the look a lot better but they are so heavy 😅
I want to get Martens for 10 years now, and I keep thinking about it instead of just buying them.. They're quite expensive where I live :c
You should definitely get them. I've had the classic ones for 10 years! haha. They are very timeless. Where do you live? Can you buy them online?
I found mine on Depop, they’ve never been worn but I got them for waaaay cheaper!
I bought my first DM last week, I usually wear 7 and I ordered 7. But I think that is a little big for me. Any suggestion? Because I can't return them because I'm in another country now. Thanks!!
Have you tried wearing some thick socks or wearing them with an insole? That might make it tighter. Mine are A little loose too and I don’t mind it.
@@actuallyXanh thanks!!! I will try that!!
Just got these for christmas 🙌🏾 theyre heavy but worth it lol. im a 6.5 and might have made a mistake getting a 7 but oh well. I can return them if need be.
Hey Forslaytion they are seriously so worth it!! You’ll get used to how heavy they are!
Get insoles!!
this was so helpful!!! Just ordered mine :)
I’m so excited for you! You’re going to love them!
ugh i love the jadons but they’re so expensive, i ended up getting 1919 mid calf’s still excited!! but my next doc purchase will def be the jadons r so cute and i’m short so love the height boost!!
Yes, they are expensive but very worth it. the 1919 is also really nice! so excited for you!
hey i have both martens and dockers by gerli platform boots and they are almost identical, if you have a tight budget id go for those, they are 47€
Hey girl..Im size 6 and accidentally ordered size 7(I cant return them) they fit well with insoles tho what im worried about is they look big when seen. will i be able to adopt the look and other people too?
I’m a size US 10, do I size up? I have combat boots that I had to size up in. So I just want to make sure
I hope they continue to restock them, I tried purchasing some in my size yesterday but sold out :/
Oh no! I think they will restock soon! ☺️
I love the chunky platforms because they give me a little extra boost in the height department. I’m 5’2 btw. I have the white Jadons and a few pairs of the Jadon Max.
Me too!! I love that it makes me taller. I want the Jason max! So cute!! 😍
I felt insane wearing my doc Martens Jadon hi the first few times, not in how I walked but just getting used to the look on me
Hi hon, I want to buy these online, but do you recommend sizing up ?
Hello! I would say get your normal size. They fit true to size. If you size up, they might be a little too big. hope that helps!
@@actuallyXanh thanks 🤞🏻😬 well I did it..ordered them, I hope for the best! 😍
@@Ndjdjdjc hey any update, did u size up or down?
What insole can you use? I'm having a hard to trimming to fit
I really want these boots but not sure about sizing. I ask around and everyone says size down for the jadon platforms because they run big.
Im a true 6.5 woman, do you recommend me getting a womans 5 or 6
Tee N. I’m the same and I got a size 6. It’s perfect for me
hey>did you side up or down
Hiii☺️ Great videos! I want to order the Jadon Doc Martens with fur in but i was wondering: i’m 1m71 (5’7 i think) and a bit overweight, and I am scared that, as they are really big boots, they would make my legs bigger. What do you think? 🥰
I definitely don’t think so!! I love how chunky they are and I think it fits any body type! I think they will look super cute one you! 🥰
*on 😂
To break em in I’d say u should wear em to the store, then after some time take em on a long hiking trail.
That’s a really good tip when it comes to sizing!
Hey, for the 1460 , what size did you get?
Can you show us what they look like after 3 years by making a video? I'm curious if they've softened
I have the Jadon vegan version. They're better to break in than leather ones. I wear a size 14 so in my size they look more like a combat boot than a platform shoe but I still get the 6cm height increase so that's nice.
they also look bad
I'm gonna wait for another 4 months to save money for my 1st future jadon dr martens. I already included it on my bucket list.
@@actuallyXanh thank you :)
i want to get the jadons and i already have the 1460s but i haver no idea about the size. Did you get the same size ? thanx
@@actuallyXanh thank you so much for the answer and the video!! :)
@@actuallyXanh FYI, my Jadons came, I ordered the size you recommended and I’m very happy with the results. Thank you so muchhhh for helping out, especially during the lockdown!
@@senak7440 Hello I've got the same size as you (UK 5) and been wondering whether or not to get size 6, kinda scared it will be too big for me:(
@@minozico599 hello! So far I’m happy with the boots. I wore like 3 times and walked for too long with them. When I wear thin socks the boots would hurt my feet because my feet have space in them since the boots are a little bigger than my size. The back side of my feet developed blisters everytime I wore but nothing too bad. It was still annoying though…
However, I wore two socks today and I’m writing these to you with Jadons on my feet. I’m very pleased because it’s not causing any problems anymore! I guess wearing extra socks did the trick.
So if you are fine with wearing extra socks I’d say go for size 6! It fits perfectly now and does not hurt at all.
should I get the jadon boots to fit more snug or loose? for example the size 5 is snug on my foot but the size 6 is loose.
More loose! You want to have a little bit of room to wear socks 🥰
More snug, you can get boots stretched half a size or more for 8-20 bucks. Too big and they will only stretch more, you’ll feel like your flopping around in your dads shoes. I got mine more true to size and can still double up on socks.
Your video helped me so much! My jaden just came in and they fit perfect :)
that makes me so happy!!!😊
