Just purchased a 2023 Rogue. Traded in my '14 Altima. I absolutely love it! I use the hands-free a lot on the interstate and in my opinion, it handles great. So far, the best mileage I've gotten out of mine is 37 MPG! That is as much as the hybrids get!
I traded in my Altima and I got a road and I miss the Altima. Problem is they are going to discontinue it so I’m not going to be able to get another one
I own the 2021 Rogue Platinum. No issues at all. Let’s be clear. All cars have some issues, especially the higher end cars like BMW, Mercedes, etc. We are at 40K miles and no issues with the engine as well as the “crappy CVT” as people say. And BTW, the lack luster 181 HP (as people say) does the job just fine.
@@reyperez3424 No turbo, less to repairs. Just put it in Sport mode for a little more umph…. Not drag racing with a Rogue. I’ll take my platinum model any day over a turbo base model.
I stuck to Nissan after my first accident it was super safe, Rest in Peace my 2021, decided to get myself a 2022 Platinum and my little Pearl drives AMAZING! Love it. On its own right I can't wait to spend some years with her and maybe get the next Gen of that year.
I just bought a 2023 Rogue Platinum and it is a blast to drive. Have the full moon/sunroof and all the bells and whistles. Drives like a dream everywhere, and I have an autopilot (kind of) that steers the car with no hands.
I test drove a 2023 Rogue Platinum AWD fully equipped. I bought it for my wife. I have the 2022 Pathfinder Platinum AWD fully equipped. The front dash computer/screen and instrumentation is like 90% like the Pathfinder Platinum. The controls are all about the same. When driving the 2023 Rogue, it is impressive. It has a similar feel to the Pathfinder. When outside of the vehicle and looking at the front and rear it looks very close like the Pathfinder. I was very impressed with the Rogue.
I have a 2023 SV with premiu, package.. first, the body roll IS not excessive, I have own 2 GMC Terrains, the last one a 2014, a much heavy car and body roll was a lot worse. Acceleration on the highway is responsive even above 70.. the Rogue returns a lot of value for the price.. btw, so far my best MPG (highwary) is 43.6.. not a RAV 4 or Honda CR-V (non hybrid) can touch it.
I just crashed my 2017 S. Tried a few other cars in the class and quickly found ,that in my non car geek world, I loved my experiences in the rogue. Purchased a 2023 SV after a couple months of research. I drive Uber and Lyft as a side hustle. My 2017 was getting compliments all the way till the end.
Perhaps this is the very best last gas suv on the market if you're at least somewhat budget minded by still willing spend a little. The one after this will have to be plug in hybrid or else entirely ev. Drive this one light footed, and this makes current hybrid alternatives not cash advantageous - even in the long run.
We just bought the 22 Rogue Platinum. It handle’s fantastic, not sure what you drove. And you never mentioned it’s a new variable compression turbo and that the CVT is completely new.
"And you never mentioned it’s a new variable compression turbo and that the CVT is completely new." Right after the first 1 minute the new engine is mentioned.
I love my 2023 Rogue, but I'll never buy another Nissan. For every vehicle I've ever owned, I've purchased the shop repair manual - the one the dealer mechanics use. It usually costs about $225 a copy. But now the thieves at Nissan refuse to sell me the manual, and demand that I pay $900 a year to look at it online. I call that Grand Theft. I plan to spend the rest of my life encouraging buyers to purchase anything but a Nissan.
How much should i pay for the 2023 Rogue out the door? Please let me know i hate the buying process and dont want to get ripped off. Thanks out the door means total plus tax and all fees.
I have one of these and the only thing I do not like is the irrational transmission shifter configuration. It has good pick up for 3 cylinders with the turbo. If you want Porche performance get a Porche not a Nissan.
I bought my 2023 Nissan Rogue and on the second oil change, the crankcase cap had to be replaced because it is plastic and the screw where the oil drains, went out of place. I wonder if this cap needs to be changed every time you change oil, because it's so expensive.
Be aware Nissan Canada removed fog lights from all trim levels of the 2023 Rogue and have not made the necessary part available to get them installed. You can order fog light kit T99F1-6RR0A or T99F1-6RR2C(New for 2023), and while those kits indicate "Compatible with 2023 Platinum" and show no additional necessary accessories, the unfortunate truth is that they also changed the Signal Arm and in doing so removed the fog light switch. Nissan Canada has not made the new signal arm available in Canada and therefore the mechanics have no where to plug the fog lights into. So you can install you pretty new lights but have no way to activate them. According to Nissan Canada the Fog Lights Accessory is currently "Under Review for the Canadian Market" and they cannot say when the review will be done or if the necessary parts will be available when they are finished the review.
Just purchased 2023 awd, my driver seat is power but the passenger front is manual. Didn’t realize this until I cleaned it. I thought both would be power. Anyone experience this?
If ill watch Chev equinox, ford edge, crv, rav4, gmc terrain, subaru, volks and mazda they all have issues! idk what to buy now, is there a perfect car now?
One of the key things to know before buying the 2023 Nissan Rogue is do not get the “SV trim model” because new SV rogue no longer has “the foot activated liftgate” like that of the 2018-2020 Rogue SV where it had the “foot-activated liftgate”.
I am not so sure of 3 cylinders 1500 cc with turbo it sound disaster. Turbo will put a lot of pressure on small 3 cylinders engine and will not last long like they CVT transmission that fails from 2014 -2019 as I know .
I have one of those $20k cars and trust me - I’d rather the money be spent on seats and suspension. A Kia on a spring road feels like being a paint can in a shaker.
I like everything about it except for the engine. My opinion is the engine should at minimum be a 2.0 turbo. I dont think a 1.5L turbo will last 100k miles. Just my opinion.
True but Nissan actually makes reliable turbos so only time will tell. I'm skeptical too tho that's why I'm glad my mom got the 21 model SL with the 2.5L
@@TheCaptjamestkirk Ok, that's weird, usually if transmission oil is changed for every atleast 25-30k miles mostly we dont see any issues with the CVTs, is what I heard.
